Timesplitters.
Timesplitters is the greatest video game series ever developed by man. You will never convince me otherwise.

I would have sex with it if I could.

...

What?
This.

Mass Effect 2, not the first one just the 2nd one. Anyone who wants it to go back to the mechanics of the first one is nuts.

Also, both the Final Fantasy and Resident Evil series.

Dawn of War:Dark Crusade, Mario Kart and Batman:Arkham Asylum.

2 fantastic games which I will defend until my fingers are numb.

I'm a hate-boy of the MASS EFFECT series, such undeserved attention for such a wooden plot and character... they make africa's economic development look like what came of 3D today compared to that of the comic books of the 80s.

But if I wanted to be a fan boy of any game ever I'd have to say it would be the first halo game or perhaps the entirety of the Warcraft franchise.

Mass Effect, Dragon Age Bioware, Guild Wars (FUCK YES, GUILD WARS 2!) and Pokemon. That's all I can legitimately feel fanboyish for, in the end.

*sigh*

Call Of Duty...I can't help it. I've been a fan since Finest Hour released on the PS2 in 2004. I still get all giddy come November when the release date gets closer. I'll wait outside of Gamestop till midnight, only to be disappointed come February; when the game has an excess of noob-tubing 9 year olds that got the fucking game even though they don't know what Vietnam or a Napalm is.

Of course, come this November, I will return, like an abused spouse to their other half, because I'm a fanboy for the Call Of Duty series.

Also, I'm a pretty big fan of Rockstar, but they know how to put out a solid product.

Psychonauts, for one. It's not a unique to be a Psychonauts fanboy as it used to be, but it's still an incredible game.

More than anything, I'm a fanboy of the incredible and much under-appreciated Chrono Cross. Easily my favorite game of all time, I've completed it many times in the last decade. It had a deep, twisting story, a 100% unique battle system, dozens of wildly varied characters to create your party out of, and a gorgeous, fully realized world to explore. Most people wrote it off as utter crap because it didn't continue the stroy from Chrono Trigger, but failed to realize that it was never meant to.

Mass Effect. Best series ever.

Oh and fighting games in general. Anyone that says you can win solely by button mashing is wrong.

I have much enthusiasm for these:

Deus Ex
Fallout 3
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Half-Life
Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis
Grand Theft Auto IV
No One Lives Forever
Hitman: Blood Money
Max Payne

and, how could I forget, Worms 2!

Also, Urban Chaos. The 1999 one, not "Riot Response". I loved that game but I don't know anyone else who's played it.

Final Fantasy... X! Hah you were expecting 7 weren't you? Yeah no. Hated 7 personally. But I will defend FF10 to the ends of the earth, even though there is a (small) part of me that acknowledges the arguments made against the game.

Also Pokemon (Gen 1 and 2. 3 and on are fine games, but not the same to me). The power of defending my entire childhood is behind that one.
