Crackdown. If you say it's bad, then I can prove you factually incorrect.

A lot of people have agreed with me on Crackdown and that makes me happy :)
The second was a hasty sequel. Made in just under 18 months, so I can understand why it felt a little lacking in single player. Shame though. I hope Microsoft give Ruffian a few years for Crackdown 3.
Even if it was rushed, more Crackdown is never a bad thing. But yes, the next should be amazing if they take their time and improve the (few) flaws like the targeting system, etc.

I was really disappointed with crackdown 2, crackdown original was a really fun game. Wasn't aware they were making CD3.

Kotor 1 and 2, they just went all out with the story setting:),Yeah im gonna hear alot of flaming for this...but I really love the Warcraft lore, it's like huuuuuuge xD, also love the POP sand of time trilogy and last but not least, Neverwinter Nights 1 + all the extra modules.
That game.....had story, had adventure, had everything. At least for it's time.I tried making a fan-made module, and gathering a team of people to do it, but....I just got 2 people except me, and I don't know anything except some basics. So only a sound guy, and a scripter , was not enough.

Dragon Age: Origins. I agree with most of what is said here! ( http://bit.ly/eOQULv ) The characters really drew me in and it sometimes annoyed me about how much people said it didn't look all that great. It looked fine to me.

I can't wait for Dragon Age 2.

I never understood the problem with the targeters. You just move the reticule until you see your targets health bar, then lock on. Although, yeah, I'm sure they'll fix the flaws, and hopefully a new city!

Not confirmed, but I'm on the ruffian forum quite a lot and I wouldn't be suprised at all.

Disgaea Series and Spin-offs, TF2, L4D/L4D2, Phoenix Wright, Legend of Zelda, Poke'mon, Digimon, Monster Ranchers, LBP/LBP2, Red Dead Redemption, Resident Evil 4 (only 4 to be honest as far as seriousness as a fan boy), Fallout New Vegas, Dead Rising/Dead Rising 2, Final Fantasy, Eternal Darkness: Requiem of Sanity, AND MANY MORE!

Starcraft, company of heros, bad company 2, half life, dead space, fallout 3/new vegas.

I would like to say GTA IV, but lack of a tank killed it for me.

Asheron's Call - best mmorpg ever IMO
Prince of Persia - best Prince thing ever
Heavy Gear 2 - best robot stuff with wheels and guns
Magic Carpet - first game written for the pentium processor (use that one in trivial pursuit) and it could be played in 3D. Sequel wasn't as good.
Chaos Gate - Great space marine turn based game, pretty much what Dawn of War II was based on.

Resident Evil.

I like both the classic games, as well as Re4, re5 and Umbrella Chronocles.

That being said, I can recognise the problems the games have, but I'm still gonna fangirl over them.

Also Eternal Darkness. And Pokemon. Also, Super Mario Bros 3 is the pinnacle of platforming games, and perfect in pretty much every way.

I honestly don't think I'm a fanboy of anything. I'm mentally running through all my favorite games, and I can easily admit that each of them have flaws. I mean, I love Uncharted, but the main character is kind of inconsistent douche. I love Mass Effect, but a lot of the elements of gameplay(Side quests, upgrades) are inconsistent at best, and still imperfect. I love God of War, but it's still very repetitive and the story only goes downhill from the first game. I love Bioshock, but hacking sucks and the vita-chambers aren't helping anyone. I even love Bioshock 2, even if the story is a bit of a mess and a lot of the new elements were poorly implemented. Need I go on?

No offense, but I think this topic is a little flawed. Liking a game doesn't make you a fanboy, it makes you a fan. Not being able to admit imperfection makes you a fanboy, and that's pretty damn rare.
you've pretty much done what the same as me. I can't call myself a fanboy of any games as even the ones i think are great aren't that great but that's not saying they're bad either.

Even sitting here now trying to think of some and i'm getting nothing. I can't even remember the last game i even got excited about... oh wait.... Project Zero 3
that had a lot of issues as well mind you

Shadow of the Colossus

I will hunt down anyone who disparages that game like the dog they are!

The same goes for Oblivion, but I am willing to allow some criticism of the game so long so long as they accept that the game as a whole is utterly brilliant.
