Okay I'm going to appeal to the greater minds of the Escapist here with this one.

I remember playing this game 10 - 5 years ago, yeah my memory is that shot that its basically blurred into 5 years, anyway it was a computer game old style RPG. There were quite a few sequels and all I remember distinctly is a mini game in which you'd throw knives at a board and earn points (Yeah after playing the entire game all I remember is a tiny mini game that lasted 10 seconds). I remember more from a sequel though, it was located in a desert city, it had an underground part that you had to search through to find a type of magic shop. When you find it, its shown as a giant eye icon on your map.
There is also a mission where the city becomes deserted and four elemental spirits block certain parts of the city, and the only way to kill the wind spirit was to use a set of bellows you'd found early in the game.

Yeah not much but if I had more I'd just google it and probably find it. Actually I just remembered more from the first instalment... there was a thieves guild you could join and I'm pretty sure the entrance was underneath a trapdoor in the pub, when you joined there was also a fence you could sell stolen goods too. I think you could also join different types of guilds mage/fighter but I'm not 100% on that.

Heh, just noticed this thread, but here goes...

It was on the PS2 or maybe the PS1 where you had guns on cars and you drove round trying to destroy each others cars.
Anyone know anything about that?
Doublepost much?...Anyway, I immediately thought of Vigilante 8, a game for PS1 where you had cars with guns and tried to destroy the other cars. A simple game, but I liked it. My friend still has it, heh.

Edit: Aaand...

Okay, I think this was on PS1.
You control a guy (that slightly reminds me of bomberman) from a birds perspective. You have a "base" which looks like a small chessboard. Somewhere around on the map, cubes are dropped from the sky, you can carry these with you back to your base and place them on the board. Once you have enough, you can activate it and get a fancy new weapon, the more cubes you "cash in" the bigger and better the weapons. Anything from grenades to big tanks. So you can spend a few cubes fast to get a small weapon early on, or try to save up for the bigger stuff.
Another enemy also has a base and will try to fight for the same cubes, it could be played by another player or a bot.
Anyone please know the name of the game?
This sounds like Team Buddies, a PS1 game where you stacked boxed on top of each other and got weapons and vehicles from breaking them. It was awesome to play it with friends.

Wow, this is an old thread.

I was actually just about to create a similar thread on an alternate forum, but as this popped up as a new reply while I was watching a video I decided just to use this one.

Mine is a PC game, around the time of Doom. I would bet that this game used the same engine. It was set in a castle sort of environment, FPS. I remember you had a crossbow and could fire different types of arrows. You may have had magic, but Im not sure.
Hexen (or Heretic)
I loved those games.

I forget what it was, you played as some chip looking thing and you lept onto animals, can someone find that game?
It was on the N64
Space Station Silicon Valley.

I'd like the name of a racing game I played on PC (pretty sure it was for PC not a rom). Basically it was real bright and colourful, mariokart style and all the characters were cute animals.

Right, then, I've been going through the entire thread for people who I can answer and haven't been already, so this is going to be quite a long post.

There was an fps on, I believe, the PS1. It was a parody of the genre and had enemies like asses with legs. Anyone know what this is?

In the mid 90's I played a sidescrolling beat-em up with mythological creatures, inspired by greek/roman/european mythos. You weilded a badass sword and the whole shebang. It was also pretty hard.

But there was a twist. Not only is it a sidescroller, but it has a Sim City/Civ section where you help restore the kingdoms and uncover dungeons and help the people clear the land and defend them from monsters (sometimes they kidnap people).

I cannot remember the name, at all, please, halp :(

Edit: It was for the Super Nintendo.

Does anyone remember an old top down RPG type game. All I can remember of it is that there was a tiny thumbnail of a girl called a Nymph lying on her front nude on grass. The other memory is that there was a crypt on the map that I traveled to to find Undead inside, then killed them.
The game was displayed in a top down view a lot like Heroes of Might and Magic III.

...Don't ask how I know this from that much information. :p

I can remember parts of this game i used to play in the late 90's i think. It was a vehicle combat game and one of the game modes was somthing to do with defending and destroying oil rigs or somthing along those lines, one of the characters could control bees or somthing and another one was a crazy school bus driver.

Becides that all i remember was that there were power-ups such as a exaust that made black smoke behind you that damaged cars if they went in it.

(Reading this over makes me realise the game was insane :p)

Theres this one game for the Ps1 i have been trying to remember for years. I's sorta looks like 40 winks.
The first scene of the game is a man (or boy cant remember) and he goes into and hotel or
motel. He goes to the front desk and talks to the person, who is a bunny.
you get given a room and go to sleep and im pretty sure you get a visit from death.
you wake up and there is a evil nurse with a giant needle and if she catches you she repeditively
jabbs you with the needle and says something like "this will only feel like a pinch"
to stop her you need to go to the kitchen and get a banana peel and put it on the floor as she is chasing you so she will fall over.
But this is all i remember and cannot find.
sometimes I think it all was just out of a dream but I remember goung into video game place and hireing it out repeditively because I could never get past the person after the nurse.

Even if one part of this sounds like a game you know please respond

It was some RTS-ish game for the Sega Genesis where you were a jet that could turn into a giant robot and vice versa. You would drop off units from your base using your jet and try to capture mini bases on the way to the enemy, and destroy them. It had a great split-screen mode.

It was a side scroller for the N64 in which you were a lobster, mouse, or rhino destroying buildings.

Oh yeah, it was Rampage: World Tour

I remember some sort of weird point and click investigation game from the early 90s on the PC. I'm fairly certain it was made by Lucasarts and had a weird title. The name is right on the tip of my tongue, but my brain hurts when I try to remember what it is.

Edit: It might have had the word 'revenge' in the title. But I'm not sure why I think that.

There is a game that I've been trying to remember for many years. It's old since I played it as a wee one, prolly between 15-20 years ago.
All I can say for sure is that you play a kid that gets into trouble. It was a first person story-adventure type game. I think you would click on items to pick them up. I recall there was a nerdy friend character, overbearing sister, the standard fare. But I remember so little else about it, just little blips.

I remember playing this game on PC, it was sort of like clydes revenge and hocus pocus style but you where on this hoverboard kind of like back to the future style. Would have to of been about 1996 that I played it. Loved it but I can't remember the name :(

Second one was like you where on a space ship and you could walk down a few hallways and choose wich game you wanted to play (they might have been demos). They where hanging on the wall like pictures and you walk up and select one. I remember some of the games you could play where Return Fire and Fury3 and Terminal Velocity, Mech Warrior might have been on it too. This could have been a game disc that came with a microsoft joystick, but I could be wrong.

EDIT:
HOLY SHIT!! I found both

first one is Cyril Cyberpunk

Second is
