Oh! Oh! Pick me!
My lost game is a DOS game about gangsters. You played as a guy in a gray suit and a fedora, awesomely rendered in Lemmings-esque graphics, and you could steal things at a storage yard in which you had to move green containers, kidnap children at playgrounds (which could go South in a really bad way when the mothers, grandmothers or the kids themselves took up arms and shot you). There were loan sharks, gun shops and cops, of course, and the goal was basically to gain more cash and become a better gangster.

Does anyone recall this little gem?
It's Crime Fighter I think (you don't fight crime, you cause it). Ahhh...mothers with AK 47s, how soon will it come to that.

There was this game that was basically a Fallout (1 and 2) rip off with better graphics and a different setting. Companions were more integral and you got a robotic dog that shot a laser out of it's mouth. He even came with someone to repair him in the middle of battle! The last thing I remember is that you had to trade the dog for some dude with a sword which really stunk.

If I remember correctly the main character used an assault rifle, had blue hair, and was a girl. The mechanic was nerdy, had some kind of Mohawk, and wielded a staff. The dog was bronze, vaguely humanlike, and his laser could hit multiple targets in a row. The sword guy was reminiscent to some kind of Viking Warrior.

Can't for the life of me remember the name of the game at all. For some reason though, I have a very strong urge to find and play it. It was on the PC when I played it.

Hello, I've got a problem with finding my very missed game which I had on PC but I remember very little of it, just that main character was a boy (whom dress was blue), and the game begins in deserted mountains where he had to fight with some black creatures with red eyes to pass through with some gun which fired the electric stream. It was adventure/platform game and for these years (i mean 1996-1999, I don't exactly remember, only that I was very young then :)) it had very good animations. It consisted on jumping from edge to edge, climbing on the rocks, killing these black dudes and something something.. Don't remember nothing more, but it was very interesting game :) please help :)
Don't know if it has been answered yet but my best guess is Heart of Darkness. It's a side scrolling jump and climb game where you have an electrical weapon and fight dark, black shadows.

There was some game I played many years ago on my dads friends SNES. All I really remember is that it was completely in 2D, it was an RPG, and I ran around in a pretty dark forest with lots of blueish creatures (I believe they were wolves) jumping out on me. Then I came to some kind of ruins, where a princess was walking back and forth on a ledge...

I hope someone might know what the game was called, because I would really like to play it again.
I think you may be thinking of The Battle of Olympus.

You play as a young demigod (oprheus) on his way to save Helena. That game was soooo hard for the 7 year old me.

OT=I've already gone on my nostalgic quest to find the blurred memories of games of my childhood, so i got nothin' =)

What console what is on? Describe the main character and other features of the game.

As for me, it was a Spiderman game I think. For a very old console, and I distinctly remember the first bosses being 3 cheerleaders with hair they whip around and a larger (not giant, but absurdley tall) cheerleader after that who also uses her hair.

I swear I'm not making this up.
That sounds suspiciously like Spider-Man/Venom: Maximum Carnage for the SNES/Genesis. Although if I recall the first boss in that game were these 2 punk chicks that whacked you with their hair.
It could also be Spider-Man/Venom: Seperation Anxiety, the cheerleaders where a sort of elite mook. Don't know if someones already answered that or not because there's like 7 pages left and no more time for browsing.
Hope it helps.

it was a PS2 game, and you played a weasel/ferret with some sort of wise cracking bunny as a weapon
It almost sounds like you are combining the memories of Jax and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank....

The game is actually Whiplash ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whiplash_%28video_game%29 ), the actual play style of the game seems a lot like Ratchet and Clank, with the humor of Jak and Daxter mixed in, so it makes sense that it sounds like the two combined. I never got the chance to play the game myself, but I've seen a lot about it.

All I can say for sure is that you play a kid that gets into trouble. It was a first person story-adventure type game. I think you would click on items to pick them up. I recall there was a nerdy friend character, overbearing sister, the standard fare. But I remember so little else about it, just little blips.
Maybe Maniac Mansion?

It was a game similar to pokemon. Go out, catch monsters, make em fight each other. Except this had a good story and the monsters didn't suck(yes I went there).
It was all in 3d.
You could fuse the monsters you caught, making anything from pterodactyl turtles, to salamander cats
The story had something to do with your father leaving(i think) the village(which is located in a forest if I remember correctly) and you go out to search for him?
There is also a mysterious masked guy who kicks the crap outta you the first time you met him.
Man, I just can't remember the damn name!
sry if this was allrdy answered was it one of the Monster Rancher games?
No, it was jade cacoon.
I miss those monster rancher games too though.
But jade cacon stood out for me, because of all the "capture monster to do battle" games, this was one of the few where you could fuse them in a cool way(you could literally fuse all the monsters in the game into one if you so chose), and it was rather dark and ominous. Almost like and antithesis to pokemon.

Ok ,so I played this game back in the day when PlayStation one was out. It was a demo I had. You started as a guy character who was dressed I think kind of spacey. Now your weapon is a guitar. You end up having to fight this guy who is dressed like a bee and he also has a guitar. He starts out in a tree where you first see him. Then you know comes down and you have to battle him with the guitar. I used my analog sticks to move this little cursor around on this line that I had to follow. If I stayed on it the better I would do. The ending was amazing, where your guitar was sounding really cool.towards the end the bee dude starts breathing really heavy and stuff and eventually you beat him. I think it was turn based too. To where he would do a line then you. Anyone have any idea what the name of that old PlayStation game was. I really want to try and find it and buy it. Unfortunately I do not have the demo disc anymore. I forgot it after I moved.... :(

Ok, this has been bugging me for awhile now. I can't seem to remember the title of this game...I saw this when I was very young but I remember the games content now;

The game was about a boy who enters a castle who seemed to be just wondering around or something. There was an opening cutscene where the room goes dark while the boy is heading up some stairs. in the middle of the room was a large cage that was hanging down from the ceiling with a girl inside of it. I beleive the boy jumped onto the top of the cage and made it fall. The cage broke and the girl was freed, but a shadowy darkness made creature appeard and tried to take her away by carrying her over it's shoulder. So the boy had to beat them up with a torch and save her I think...It's been bugging me for awhile and this was only the first part so I wanted to see how it ended...

A strategic zone defence game with bugs.

You and the computer competed over food which you captured by standing on it while a flag was raised. Your armies consisted of various bugs.

There were ants, jumping spiders, grasshoppers and a lot more. The strongest unit was rhinoserus beetle, second strongest was praying mantis. Grasshoppers where the fastest units and you also had flying bugs.

You didn't have a base and you started the match with a set number of units.

I recall it having the word Wars in it's title.

It was this game for the PS2, and to attack enemy's you had to press the corresponding buttons floating over their heads.... I wish I remembered it.
