Good luck getting it to run because I've had zero success.Zanaxal said:Subculture was right, was such a well made game back when it was released. Think ill try it some more now![]()
Might you be talking about Demikids?Spinozaad said:The only JRPG I only liked, because it was Pokemon, but than with Nightmare Fuel-like monsters.
You were this really annoying kid (JRPG, y'know...) who had to save the world from destruction (because, y'know... JRPG) by catching monsters (because... well... JRPG, y'know...) which you could subsequently and mysteriously morph with one another. You could train the beasties, and they'd get better and more powerful and, ultimately, you'd save the world. I vaguely remember there being a scantily-clad lady (JRPG.) who in the west would either be jailbait or 'totally asking for it (JRPG.)
I don't remember the name, nor was it that impressive. But man, to the little boy that was me, it was like Pokemon for... well... people who were no longer little boys. Of course, looking back it was vastly inferior to Pokemon.
Still, had some great times with that game. Oh, and the best critter (at least, it was in my memory) was the first critter you could catch (does that remind you of a certain anime based on a certain... JRPG?)...
That sounds suspiciously like Hybrid Heaven:CD-R said:Ok I have one.
It was an N64 game. You play as this guy in some futuristic underground facility or something. Anyway the combat system is like a weird combination of a fighting game and a turn based jrpg battle system. You could level up your individual body parts as you used them. So if you kicked with your right leg a lot your right leg kicks would do more damage. I remember my friend and I playing it and getting pretty far and then getting pile drived to death by some half man half pig mutant thing.
Any ideas?
Fiend Dragon said:I'm reasonably certain that it was a PC RTS game, where you controlled a feudal Japanese village and you had to build rice paddies to harvest resources. Each faction had different special units, one faction was the werewolf clan, one had special Ronin, and one got to build special Geisha shrines to heal their troops or something.
Edit: Another one I just remembered. Never actually played it myself, but I watched someone else play it. It looked a LOT like command and conquer 1, but you controlled squads instead of individual troops and you had to send them into buildings to capture, and the maps were very small.
I think you may be right thanks.TheSchaef said:That sounds suspiciously like Hybrid Heaven:CD-R said:Ok I have one.

The first one, I'm pretty sure, is Battle Realms (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_Realms).
My first post!
I'm probably wrong, but it's not Gitaroo Man by any chance?tcby21 said:Ok ,so I played this game back in the day when PlayStation one was out. It was a demo I had. You started as a guy character who was dressed I think kind of spacey. Now your weapon is a guitar. You end up having to fight this guy who is dressed like a bee and he also has a guitar. He starts out in a tree where you first see him. Then you know comes down and you have to battle him with the guitar. I used my analog sticks to move this little cursor around on this line that I had to follow. If I stayed on it the better I would do. The ending was amazing, where your guitar was sounding really cool.towards the end the bee dude starts breathing really heavy and stuff and eventually you beat him. I think it was turn based too. To where he would do a line then you. Anyone have any idea what the name of that old PlayStation game was. I really want to try and find it and buy it. Unfortunately I do not have the demo disc anymore. I forgot it after I moved....![]()
JET FORCE GEMINI. I loved that game. I hope this is what you are talking about cause I used to play versus with my brother all the time in that game.WayOutThere said:I remember this sci-fi N64 game where you battle humanoid ants and other bug creatures. Never could make any progress in the game on account of being a dumb little kid at the time of playing it. The thing I most distictively remember is that in the menu screen you could choose who you wanted to play as but it was like a medical scan or something so you could see their underlying muscles and more distintively than that, their large eye balls.
Erm, could it have been Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2? That's the only Army Men game I can find for the N64.Mastern56 said:The only game that I can't really remember the name of was for the N64 and I believe it came with a green cartridge. It was about plastic soldiers and I remember the only reason I liked it is cause sometimes the soldiers would land on a grill or something and melt. Anybody remember it?
