Games you can't remember, but still miss - describe them.

I found this thread looking for a couple of games, one of which was mentioned near the start of the thread (Legend of Legaia) and one which I ended up finding myself after scouring lists on Wikipedia (SaGa Frontier). But then I saw this:

It was a game for the play station.It was a sequel although I never played the first one. You start of in a town with your mother but pretty soon everyone gets really annoyed at you because your father comes from another town which they are enemies with. They think this is what has caused all their misfortune. You leave to go live with your dad but once you get to his town they tell you he went into the mine and has not come out. You go after him, find him but you get separated. When you make your way out(After battling a giant spider) your in some weird fairy forest. Then your in a swamp, a desert, snowy mountains, lava mountain, you get betrayed I can't remember much more of the plot. But by the end your in a temple in a jungle fighting the guy who betrayed you, he dies you win. Please someone try and help me on this. It's been annoying me all week.

And I am so sure I remember this game! It just triggered something in my memory, though I can barely remember it at all (and definitely not the name, sorry). I'm pretty sure I didn't get past the part where you're in the mine. Just to be clear, is the mine shut down because of it being dangerous or something? Maybe because of monsters in there? Or am I thinking of another game entirely?

OK so i know im a noob but i joined this site because there is a game that i rememeber for ps1 and i just cant think of the name and ive been trying to figure it out for years now
ok so here it is

the game was for PS1 and there was 2 characters it was a girl and a guy...and if i remember correctly you fought some kind of robots or maybe humans with fist fighting and it was like resident evil kind of where you had to find key cards and items to open doors and etc and i always remember where you could switch between playing the guy and the girl and they seem to be in a big corporate buisness building...it also had a pink disc...i just cant think of it...

I think it was a game I played on my 386, a dos game. I was sure it was called Pacman or something like that, but when I do google searches I just get the regular PacMan. A level was filled with grass, and your pacman-character had to eat through the grass to get to the end of the level. You had to be smart about the eating as there was stones that would fall if you ate the grass below. I think the character was orange, but Im not absolutely sure.

I remember so little from it, so I find it hard to do searches for it. Hope you can help

Sadly not I remember it did have a 4 player select kind of like the early X men arcade game. Though the one I played was a two player cabinet. Also there was a scene where you could get on a horse and chase a train as well.

Hey guys i'm looking for a ps1 game. At the beggining of the game there is a young boy trying to escape from school with his dog, when he gets away he goes to a field where his dog gets abducted. The young boy then goes to his treehouse which if i remember correctly is full of tech and a spaceship of sorts, he then goes to look for his dog but on arrival to the alien planet his spacecraft crashes inbetween two cliffs. The boy then jumps out of the craft and imediatly his craft falls away, he then goes on to fight strange shadow creatures which appear from the ground, there are also natives to the planet which look like taller versions of Watto from star wars phantom of the menace. If anyone can tell me it's name it would be greatly appreciated because it's driving me crazy that i can't think of it. if it helps the game had two discs to it.

I'm basing this all from memory but I real would like to know what this game is.. It's an original playstation game and I think it came in a multi-disk set and had a blue cover.. You start off the game in a flying ship I think just waking up and you find a sword that talks to you.. the ship gets attacked and you fight your way to an escape pod i believe.. than you crash land in the forest and its snowing and thats as far as my memory will let me.. does anyone know what this game is called..

Congratulations for the creator of the topic.I will recommend this to all my friends.

Now, the game that i'm trying to find..i really dont remember exactly the time that i've played it..
It is a game that bases on you controlling a mothership(blue i think)..
From her you can create helicopters,tanks,radars,planes,etc..but all of them requires energy wich is the base resource that your mothership have..it also necessary to the ship's shield and to teleport to another place on the map..also in the map you can find energy factories that help your energy recovers more fast..

The gameplay have a 3D cenario(most of them are cities i think), and it is a "mix" of strategy and action, since you can control your units directly from the map, or moving them for yourself..entering in a first person shooting camera and walking with the vehicle..you can also do that to control fixed guns and the defenses of your mothership.

The objective of the game is to destroy enemy motherships and their armies..
I only played the demo version..so there was only 2 types of enemy motherships..
A red one wich is smaller than yours but have a heavly firepower..and a yellow who is like a flying square fortress.

Tried to detail as best as i can..anyone know the name of this game?

I'm pretty sure what you're looking for is called Tales of Destiny from the Tales of series

I'm also looking for a game which I vaguely remember. It's a game where all you do is jump - to collect things and clear maps. The cover art of the game was very very pink, and it was on the PSone. That's all I really remember.

Hey all, I've got two games I remember playing, both on the pc, and both are really old.

The first is mostly a text based game where you are looking at a small picture of whatever room you are in, and you move around by pushing these buttons that resemble a compass, and the rest of the screen is for typing in commands ("Take gun" for example). I'm pretty sure it was set on a space station.

The other is similar in design but was much more of a cartoon art style, and there was this key that looked like a unicorn, I think? That's all I really remember.

Anyway anyone who can shoot me the names of either would be my new best friend!

A long time ago, my brother was playing a video game, which I believe was for the Sega Genesis. All I remember about the game is that the main character was a Japanese Anime girl with black hair. She looked like she wore a Sailor Moon outfit but it was green. (She reminds me of Kagome from InuYasha) The girl was jumping on buildings killing bad guys and then at one point my brother was trying to kill a three-headed boss dragon??? Which happened somewhere in a forest, where the girl was fighting her best friend who was under an evil spell?? lol im not sure. So I tried looking under Japanese Sega Genesis Games but Google does not help at all. Please help me

Ive read through the posts and couldnt find the name of the game I'm looking for... So hopefully someone knows!

It is a PC top down shooter, you played as a character who wore red armor(sort of a Boba Fett knockoff) there were tons of destructibles and a lot of cool weapons, like rocket launchers, acid guns and spider mines. The plot was something along the lines of a political revolution. I remember it being fairly long and a lot of fun to play. Im pretty sure it ran of of a CD-ROM disc but I cant for the life of me remember what it was called... HELP!

That contained a 3rd person shooter, you where controlling a robot (red if i remember correctly), it had many legs and looked like a bug, you drove around in this killing enemies and doing missions. it could also climb walls and hover slightly i believe.

Mine was a game that I saw in action, but never played myself due to lack of the appropriate hardware. It was an action game for the PS2 featuring a some guy with two long swords, and the way he fought with them they looked like helicopter blades. Very majestic. And the crazy thing was that when you finished the first stage, the game showed a replay from several angles while it played the opening credits.

Only one other detail I remember: the lead character was loosely based off at-time popular Japanese rock star Gackt.

It was a robot Fighting game for the Dreamcast. I remember the main guy I used had a giant grenade launcher on it's shoulder and a lazer cannon in it's chest. It was the only game we had for thr Dreamcast >_<

SlaveZero? (if it hasn't been answered). I for one hated that game, but it sounds like it.

My game was a NES game, I think it was first person, and it took place in castle/dungeon. I always thought it was He-Man for some reason as a kid, and you had to navigate through the castle. It definitely wasn't He-Man, but I think I thought that because maybe the game or the box had a big muscled guy on it. I think I remember it being first person, and as a 5 year old kid, I could never do any good at it.

I have a game that I need finding.

I played it on PC during the mid-late 90s possibly early 2000's. It was a futuristic vehicle brawler. You got to choose what vehicle you wanted, they all had different colours and then you could upgrade your vehicle and battle the others within a time limit. There was a countdown at the end of each round and you had to be back in a certain spot or you died. I'm pretty sure you were a prisoner or a gladiator and you have to fight to win your freedom (but I could be remembering it wrong there).

Sorry I can't remember much more. I'd really appreciate it if someone knows what I'm talking about.
