Please help me on this one.
I remember playing a turn based strategy game on the PC. The thing is, the gameplay for that game was EXACTLY like a Super Robot Wars game, but from what i have been searching its not a super robot wars. You had an overview map from where you selected what character to use, what attack to use and who to attack, then you saw an animation of that said attack, and the enemy counter attack.
This game had anime like characters and robots, you started the game by saving a village from an attack. You played as a guy with long hair and he piloted a robot that used two swords to attack. After the attack you save a blonde haired girl from the village. Later, this girl would also get robot to pilot. Along the way you find other characters that join your party and sometime you could make a decision that would change the story.
Interesting is, that while this game had robots I remember that the setting of the story looked medieval, you had to attack quite a few castles during the story.

Please help!! I remember playing an older PC game (FPS) that had worm like enemies(I think) that popped out of the ground. I remember that at one point i went up a cliff and fought a few at some sort of ruin or destroyed town on top of the cliff. I also remember you had to rescue some weird looking guys friends(who looked like him) with a jet pack. They were hanging from floating platforms in the sky. I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could tell me what this game is.

There is one game I remember on the Playstation 1, i have vague memories of playing a guy with a flamethrower, who only used a flamethrower killing enemies in an enemy installation type level. It was only a demo but i loved the game to pieces. I am not entirely sure if it was third or first person shooter, but i THINK it was third person. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi there everyone!
I'm trying to track an old PC game (between 1995-2005) for quite some time.

I don't remember it's name, only it's gameplay..
It was full of 3D enviroments, mostly colorful, First or Third Person;
And at the beginning of the game you would take a tutorial, then you had to choose one from 8 or 12 "Gods", each one from an element, such as "Wind", and their names were took from old mythologies (some of them seemed greek ones) I presume..

Anyone?

Thanks btw!

Hi,

I've found this topic on google and it's something that i'm trying to find for years!
Congratulations for the creator of the topic.I will recommend this to all my friends.

Now, the game that i'm trying to find..i really dont remember exactly the time that i've played it..
It is a game that bases on you controlling a mothership(blue i think)..
From her you can create helicopters,tanks,radars,planes,etc..but all of them requires energy wich is the base resource that your mothership have..it also necessary to the ship's shield and to teleport to another place on the map..also in the map you can find energy factories that help your energy recovers more fast..

The gameplay have a 3D cenario(most of them are cities i think), and it is a "mix" of strategy and action, since you can control your units directly from the map, or moving them for yourself..entering in a first person shooting camera and walking with the vehicle..you can also do that to control fixed guns and the defenses of your mothership.

The objective of the game is to destroy enemy motherships and their armies..
I only played the demo version..so there was only 2 types of enemy motherships..
A red one wich is smaller than yours but have a heavly firepower..and a yellow who is like a flying square fortress.

Tried to detail as best as i can..anyone know the name of this game? :)
UGH!!!....I know the game your looking for but I can't remember the name >_<

There is this one game I have been trying to remember for years and it has been driving me crazy. It was in the late 90's/early 2000's I think and my brother and I had it on our old Mac. It was a fantasy rpg game, first person and what I remember is that the game started in the basement of some castleish building where all these other characters were in tubes. The first thing you did was go around and pick other characters for your party. The game was really hard and all I remember is that you were constantly running through hedged mazes and were chased by goo creatures and I think wolves. You could create spells by combining different elements (although I could never get it to work) and there was a door with a circular key that was broken into several pieces that you had to find. I never made it very far, as I said, it was incredibly difficult haha. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There was this game I used to play all the time at my cousins house for the Dreamcast. It involved cars, that would fly/float and do tricks(?). It was not Vigilante 8. Aslo, I believe the game had rush in the title.

I have no idea about the OP's.

Mine is some game, I swear i know the name. It was some game, i only remember using the multiplayer, it wa son the old PS1. You took control over some sort of car/war machine and tried to kill the other guy... Thererwas something like a leveling system like Defcon 1/2/3/4 or something like that...
I'm pretty sure you're thinking of Twisted Metal.

There was always this fighting game I could never remember... It was on the N64, it's graphics were ok but the game played great. It had a metal soundtrack and I remember something about "Ultra Combos".
Killer Instinct

I used to play an old Dos game. Imagine the Resident Evil games...the way the characters were 3D but the map was pre rendered. Well it was like that similar to the old Alone in the Dark games as well. You started on a horse and jumped over a bridge that collapsed as you jumped over. You end up in a town that appears to be empty. you get off the horse and it moves just like Resident evil (press left to slowly turn left ect) all i remember from here is you're a woman and if you press the interact button when nothings around she will just say " But, theres nothing here" and also you go further into town and in some of the buildings you see this Satan type brown monster thing, waiting for you to walk up the staires. He chases you around and stuff but thats all i remember anyone have any ideas? i guess it was around the early 90's seeing as it used 3D characters and was on CD.
Ecstatica 1 or Ecstatica 2. Still scares the crap out of me!

I remember playing a DOS game which was this really old baloon shooter. You'd see your crosshair and would shoot arrows at colourfull ballons that kept floating upward. Different colours gave different points. It was pretty addicting, had puke ugly 90's graphics and a green background if I remember correctly.
.... I don't think anyone found this for you yet, the game is "Bow and Arrow" http://playinggamereview.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/bow-and-arrow-game.gif

Mine is far more recent but i just can't find it anywhere. I played it in like 2009, it wasn't very old, an Xbox live or PSN game. The story was something along the line of a young boy protecting some cute furry alien, in the end of the game you let the alien go and his ship comes and a whole bunch more of them show up. I played it right before The Maw and the two bled together in my memory :(

Hi guys...
It's been so long since I've started looking for this game, if anyone is up to the task I shall be very grateful.
There were four characters. Ninja and Wizard for sure plus warrior with sword and woman (she could add herself a energy at any point in the game from some sort of magic bottle.
There was a shop in the game, after each level there were different items waiting for every hero. These were fantastic.
Ninja was the only character that could shoot from the very beginning of the game, wizard could open special window and choose his magic ability, I think he had just 2 fireballs at the beginning of the game.
First boss was some sort of jelly thing hanging from the ceiling also coming down to attack you.
This platform game was in the saloon with arcade games, not sure who manufactured it.

I think I found similar game with a word gauntlet in it but it's a pure guess. I just cant say.

Anyone???

There was another game that has bugged me for like a decade. I just remember playing it on an emulator on my computer back in 2000, so it was probably for super nintendo or something. It was a final fantasy style game where you have a party and walk around fighting battles, except that your party was more customizable. At the beginning you could choose a starting character and depending on who you chose, the story was different. There was a thief and a knight...and other people, those are the only two I remember. Then as the game progressed you encountered other characters and chose whether or not to take them with you (I think there was a max of four in the party). The game's story had something to do with some sacred trees that you had to look for or something, thats all I remember about the plot. Also, your character had a bunch of stats like attack, defense, and luck. Sorry I can't give more detail. Any help would be hugely appreciated.
