I had Bioshock, Oblivion and Batman Arkham asylum on PC, but bought them on xbox to get the achievments :(

In my defence I only bought them becasue I happened to go into a shop that was closing down and was selling everything really cheap, so I got all of them for $15 :D

Diablo 2. Bought it 3 times. They keep getting lost! But I'm finally diablo'd out, so I don't intend to rebuy it.

*waits to inevitably lose diablo 3 instead* Hurry up blizzard, so I can lose your game! The back of my sofa hungers!

Well I recently got Ape Escape on the loose, then after 5 minutes of bad voice acting and shite controlls I traded it in for the original ps1 version.

I haven't.

I love NZ copyright laws.

Buying a game, under copyright laws, doesn't mean you own that copy of the game, it means you own a licence to have a copy of the game. by NZ law, you have the right, until you transfer it to someone else (either selling it or giving it away), to a copy of that game. If your copy is stolen, you can legally download a "pirated" copy, and no-CD hacks if necessary to make it playable. It doesn't count as piracy if you do that, because you're a licence holder. The person who stole it from you is a pirate the moment they play or sell the game though. And if they sell it they can be charged with forgery as well (because it looks like a legitimate copy of the game)
Damn... I thought American law was complicated...

I rebought Oblivion because the 360 killed the disc. I also bought the original Paper Mario 3 times. I rented it, loved it, and bought it the first time. I beat it after a few weeks, played it again, and then grew bored with it. I sold it to Gamestop for 18 dollars. A few months later, I had a serious hankerin' for Paper Mario again, so I bought it again. After another play, something happened, I forget what. Either it broke or I lost it or I lent it to a friend and never saw it again, but whatever happened, I ended up buying it again.

RC's Revenge. I think that's what it was called anyway. Some racing game with RC cars that was a buttload of fun.

Played it for a while, got bored, traded it in, bought it again, remembered why I traded it in before, traded it in again.
And I regret it so... I don't think it was even that good, I just loved it anyway.
RC Revenge Pro! The PS2 game, yes? The one with the different themed levels (pirate, jungle, horror, space etc.) and the bubble weapons and the lightning and the rockets?!

I spent days on that...
If we're both talking about a game that had some tracks that let you turn into a boat, then yes, I meant RC Revenge Pro.
Gran Turismo may have magnificent graphics, but graphics can't replace the joy of watching the little antenna freak out every time you turn a corner.

Left for dead 2, just because I bought it, then my friend copped out and didnt, so I sold it, then we both bought a copy together like a year later..cheap bastard. Oh, and Dissidia for PSP, once as a disc, then off the PSN.

The only game i ever bought twice was Beyond good & evil. i was about halfway the slaughterhouse when the disc exploded. i was young and actually started crying. a little because my pc had been shredded, but mostly because now i couldn't finish the story. i finally found a second copy in a bargain bin at the local toy store (this being before the game becomming available on steam.) i was overjoyed and bought it immediatly.

Oblivion.

4 times.

360 disc.
360 download.
Steam GOTY edition.
PS3 GOTY.

In that order. Didn't play the PC version much. Draw distance is shit on my computer.
Didn't sell/break/lose any, though. Just really liked the game.

Also, Red Dead Redemption. Didn't like it the second time, either.

.hack//G.U. vol 1 and 2. I had played through them, then traded them in for the next volume. But, then I wen to college and my step brother kept the memory card, so I had to buy them and replay them for the clear data.
Before that, I had to rebuy Kingdom Hearts because my step brother scratched it, then never finished it because he erased my saved game when I was on the last level to make room for a sports profile (I really hate him by the way).
And, I'm going to have to rebuy Fable TLC because I lost my copy when I moved.
