Oh and San Andreas got to the fourth last mission then I dropped my computer Im trying to play though again but It?s just such a long hard game
That's the problem with ports to computers in some cases. I LOVED San Andreas, easily my favorite GTA game and a few months ago I thought to myself "heck, I'll replay it...Oh, I don't own a ps2... Well I'll get the pc version" And after I tried playing it the controls made it irritatingly difficult to even drive a car.

Oblivion and Fallout 3.

There's something mind-numbingly boring about Bethesda games. I'd start out thinkin 'this is gonna be awesome', and then a couple of hours later I think 'what the hell am I doing here?' and go play something else.

There's countless games I can't get into, but these stand out, because 1) they're bafflingly popular and 2) they seem very promising on the surface.

New Vegas - Ended up really enjoying the story, and getting near to the end of the game so quickly I felt the need to go and do side missions. I found the side missions unsatisfying and dull, at which point I lost sight of the ultimate goal of it all and stopped playing.

The Witcher- The most needlessly overcomplicated and excessively padded game I have ever played. "Go here, kill ten of that" quests are unforgivable in a single player RPG, especially one focusing on story.

Final Fantasy VIII - Just could not get into it. At all. IDK why. Love 7, 9, X, X-2... Hate 8.

Star Ocean III: Till The End of Time - One of the worst games I ever tried to play, frankly.
Damn it, you beat me to the punch with both your picks! I played Til the End of Time for a good portion of the game bored and hating every minute of it. Whiny hero worried about breaking the first contact law, getting sidetracked on low tech planets twice, hated it all. Then they pulled a matrix near the end and I just said fuck this game and traded it in.

Halo: CE, i bought it in mid-2009, i still haven't got past one level, just because it confused me, had respawning popcorn crabs and no matter what i did i couldn't get anywhere, same goes for a mission in Halo 2 where there is a giant dark place with respawning Flood and enemy robots where i hide, get lost, find my way to the start, realise i spent 45 minutes on that, and switch off...also PURE, it was terrible... just terrible, also Lego Batman(it was a 2-disk thing with PURE, i didn't buy either, i was given it), just because it was a grind

Farcry 2

Admittedly, i only bought it for the map editor, but the story just didnt have any sort of purpose. You essentially fail the mission straight away, and the malaria/gun jamming bullshit needs to go. Or at least only happen in areas where im NOT under fire from exactly twenty gun totting miltia bastards. Seriously, coming down with the sniffles half way through a particularly tense encounter, only to have my weapon jam straight away afterwards, is a run-up kick square to the testicles.

Ive tried playing it about 10 times now, and each time i instantly loose interest at about the point where it says "tutorial over, go do shit... Well? What are you waiting for?".

Not by any stretch a bad game, its just the over-all aim of the narrative is lost on me, and at that point i just dont see a reason to play. Its essentially a game made up of side-quests.

Just cause 2

Strangely enough, this has the same problem as farcry 2, but a completely different outcome. I still dont really get the over-all goal but, unlike farcry 2, i carried on playing. Probably because it is ludicrous amounts of fun and explosions in one sizzling fiesta of a game. Farcry 2 on the other hand, has nothing apart from the diamond hunting, and being obliterated by ALL humans you see. Seriously, it seems like every single human just wants to kill you.

Hunted: Demon's Forge. I couldn't believe how bad it was. I actually asked Steam for a refund and they gave it to me...I guess they've played it too...

I Am Not Alone. There is literally ONE enemy in this game. That's not to say you have one fight, there are many fights...but every enemy is the exact same enemy.

The Void. This game may be impossible. I'm not sure since I can't get more than an hour into it before I lose.

The worst part was that he had a cool name. Fayt Leingod. A cool name wasted on a crappy character.

A World of Keflings (or is it "The World of Keflings"...?)

I just... can't finish the last-kingdom. Towards the end, the game just gets too stressful. I don't care what party-members I can choose to help me, or how many Keflings I can train to do specific jobs. I. Just. Can't.

Terraria

Ok. I've been playing for 3-months, but I'm nowhere near the end. I'm not even in the UnderGround Jungle area yet. It's just too slow-moving, so I've put it off untill I actually know what to do; don't know if I'll ever finish it, though. Unless I have a massive nerd-gasm and make another save in beat it in one-sitting. But if I know that'd ever happened I'd check myself into a mental-hospital.

Tales of Abyss

I just keep losing to that son-of-a-***** final boss, Van - WHY WON'T YOU JUST DIE ALREADY?!!

Dead Rising

There's difference between a "high-difficulty" and a "butt-fucking axe-murdering dipshitted difficulty"

WoW/Champions Online, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Dead Rising.

I just so bored of MMORPGS, so I really just have no initiative to play them. There is really no action for me.

Grand Theft Auto was OK, but the controls were a bit wonky and the game is so goddamn long it takes like a week to finish.

Dead Rising was just a frustrating mess for me. It WAS fun at times, but the aggravation easily overwhelmed any fun I was having.

Well 8 is the black sheep of the family, everyone seems to hate it.
I happen to love 8 personally

OT: Farcry 2. I spent so much time doing random stuff that I never felt as though the game actually had a story even though I know it did.

Persona 4.

I really like it, but the dungeons are just too repetetive. I intend to pick it up again soon.
I'm at the part where I need to rescue Naoto from a bunker...can anyone tell me if it's worth going on?

The Void - I really hate this game. I'm always being told that I'm using 'color' wrong, yet I don't get any advice on how to use it right other than "grow a garden", and that was at the beginning of the game. Then when I do get some advice on how to use color, I'm being told "she's using and deceiving you, don't listen to her, give color to me instead." Other than the smidgen of useful advice I get in the beginning, if I screw up anywhere, I'm mercilessly punished. I don't like games that only have a punishment system with absolutely no reward system to strive for; the reward being able to continue the current game isn't a good enough incentive. Also, I don't care how artistic a game is (and this game is an artistic masterpiece, in my opinion), if a game only punishes you for playing it (and Demon's Souls does this, but at least that has in-game rewards), has zero developer support and/or is too hard for no reason from no fault of the player (adjusting difficulty counts as the fault of the player), the game is absolute shit.

Fantasy Star Universe and Infinite Undiscovered for the same reason: Horrible voice acting. Both games had an interesting concept behind them but I just couldn't for the live of me get past the voice acting. Every attempt to get immersed in the games ended with each cut scene.

Wild Arms 4 was the same way come to think of it. It's why I wish games like that stuck with text dialogue. Let's the player make whatever voice they want for the character in their head ... and doesn't cause your ears to bleed.

Oblivion. While it was a pretty world to explore, there wasn't anything interesting happening, and the Oblivion gates bore me to tears, uninteresting monsters except for the Daedra soldiers etc ...

Star Ocean 4. I hate the characters. I hate the voice acting. No targeting system. Although I enjoyed the overall story, until the end of Disc 1 when the main character's angst went over 9000.

Yes. By the god's yes. Do it. NOW.
OT: Deus Ex. I'm sure it's all good and the such, but the gameplay is just so outdated and just plain bad that I really hate it.

Off the top of my head.

Every final fantasy game I have ever tried, which was about 4 of them I think. I can?t remember what all of them are tho. Dirge of Cerberus was one and I think one of the others was FF VIII but it was a long time ago.

Still have yet to motivate myself to play dead space properly, I got bored really quickly with it and found the movement stiff and clunky tho I might just need to get use to it. I will probably try it again a some point. I almost didn't finish Bioshock because I also found movement and combat clunky in that too.

I have finished it but I find Mass Effect 1 very hard to get into because of the gameplay.

Also POP: WW because half way thru the game if screwed up and ALL my saves got corrupted. Couldn?t be arsed staring again.

The Witcher it was a great game and I enjoyed the gameplay I just couldn't stomach the sexism.
I try not to let stuff like that get to me because I always think I must be overreacting and overanalysing. I don?t mind a bit of nudity or cleavage but I have to admit the Witcher (which I finished very recently) managed to make me feel uncomfortable and annoy me. I actually like the gameplay and managed to finish it in the end but I almost gave up. Especially after the Shani vs Triss thing if you got up to that. I hear the Witcher 2 is better but I?m not sure if I believe that.
Edit: Typos everywhere

I really liked VIII. I haven't finished it though because of faulty memory cards. I've downloaded it from PSN and am on Disc 3 ATM though so there's that. I didn't finish X or, XIII because I lost interest in those two.

I never finished Dragon Age 2 for the same reason: I lost interest. Shortly after I picked up DA2 I actually went back to DA:O and started a new game as a mage. Still haven't finished that playthrough either actually...I've beaten DA:O a couple of times but the game is just so huge...

There are a ton of games that I never got around to finishing for various reasons (the top two being, 'lost interest' and, 'they were just rentals') these include Persona 3, Prototype, Uncharted, Legend of the Mystic Ninja, Windwaker, Majora's Mask...
