Mechwarrior 5. I'm worried I may never get to play it.

A good Call of Duty game
ZING!

OT: I think perhaps a good star wars game (apart from kotor) that hasn't been an embarrassment to the franchise. Also an mmorpg that does everything right and becomes A GOD
Huh? What about Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy, and the Battlefront series? I thought those were excellent games.
"Were" excellent games, sir? I think you mean "are". JKO and JKA are still very much alive, thank you :p

Arcanum 2
Journey to the centre of Arcanum was going to be a sequel to what I consider the best and most open RPG to date that was replaced by the not without merit but undeniably inferior vampires the masquerade bloodlines. Now troika (the fallout crews old company) has disbanded and are into guild wars 2 and diablo 3 which are far more reachable pieces that will undoubtedly be as meh its good as starcraft 2. wallotext out.

System Shock 3.

Though, considering how modern FPS/RPG hybrids turn out that's probably a good thing. *cough*BioShock*cough*

I'm beginning to think that a Mass Effect and Dragon Age crossover is the dream of a crazy man.

Really, I want to see a good spy game. It wasn't a good game overall, but my memories of the "party" level of Mission Impossible 64 have had me wanting more stuff like that. Far-fetched gadgetry, intel-gathering, stealth, decoding, mission-planning...yeah, I'm asking for a lot.

Kingdom Hearts III. :(
Soon my fellow Escapist member, soon,

Besides, Disney-Square Enix made all these recent KH games because it's building up to something big, possibly the greatest game ever!
Just play Re:Coded and 3D when they come out, Square Enix needs to piece the puzzle bit by bit, while at the same time give us more Kingdom Hearts!

And just a thought, what if Square Enix doesn't release any KH games after KHIII?
Maybe Square is doing the same thing that happened with Duke Nukem Forever, except they actually release games to build up to it instead of, well, not.

Back on Topic: A Soul Calibur game with Sora from KH in it as a Guest character.
ah ninja'd bout KH3, they are seeming to create an Epic tail, I'm excited to see how it'll turn out. I'm thinking they should end it a 3 if ot then one more to finish it off. I'm just hoping it doesn't become something like final fantasy.

A 2D sonic game that doesn't screw with everything that made the original good.
(looking at you sonic 4)
speed, simplicity, interesting bosses, just jump and spin dash.
I would pay $100 for a game with the same 1993 graphics and controls. but they only think these days about the damn kids.
This game will never come out, and thus i weep.
WTF? You people are impossible! Sonic 4 had elements of the old genesis games oozing out of every fucking orifice. If that game had been any more retro, it'd have been a fucking remake!!
...yeeeeash... well there's another group for entry onto my list of people who need good smacks upside the head with 2x4s.
After waiting for quite a while for a decent sonic game, I agree that the last came the closest, and on another note i am loving the shit out of colours. But im not a fan of the abandonment of what i find essential to these games, precise platforming and speed.
Sonic 4 was a joke in both respects. A spin dash of a ledge would bring you to a stand still and you would almost get no speed gain out of using it, i don't get the crazy physics engines these days but it doesn't gel with me. And you needed anything BUT platforming skills even in the later mad gear levels. It was never broken, and didnt needed to be fixed.
And games can be made now without screwing with the old formula, look at megaman 9 and 10. The inclusion of the kids mode in 10 is what Sonic 4 feels like to me.
I am critical, overly so, and i get that. But when a dev team had the winning formula 4 times and then scrapped it to add "tricks" and and an on rails homing attack. I am a little ticked. its like shitting on my childhood, so i believe im allowed to vent.
Save your 2X4 for someone without a valid argument.
Sorry, I was kinda venting too. As a creative person myself, I get kinda sick and tired of hearing fans whine, esp. since most of the complaints are unreasonable. ...not saying that was the case with you, just in general.
As for Sonic 4, I didn't notice any of the things you talked about. Of course I don't think I tried to spin dash of a ledge.
I'm not sure how you can say no platforming skills are required. I had a particularly hard time in the casino level where you had to jump across the flipping cards.

...wait a minute, they had the winning formula 4 times? Oh, you're counting Sonic and Knuckles as a separate game. Yeah, I don't count it as it's own game, more of and expansion pack; because I know that Sonic 3 & Knuckles is the game Sonic Team originally intended Sonic 3 to be.

Fallout: Washington.
Apologies for not reading the sarcasm/irony but Fallout 3 was set in Washington no?
No sarcasm or irony at all. I was referring to the state. I would normally go off on someone making a comment like that, insulting their level of education and such, but I won't because you're probably in another country or something considering how late it is here in the US (at least where I'm at, here in WASHINGTON), and as such I don't expect you to know anything about the geography of any country but your own.
Apologies, and thanks for the lack of insults! I stand corrected. I admit my knowledge of US state locations is substandard. However, in this case I do know that Washington is located in the Northwest having carried out research on salmon and fish pass on the Columbia River. I would normally at this stage attempt to leave you slightly confused by saying that its lunchtime in Hampshire but I won't as its late where you are (by Hampshire I mean southern county in England).
Living in Oregon I happen to know exactly where the State of Washington is located and I have to say way to screw up east and west good sir.

Washington is the red one right above Oregon (also red) which is just north of California.
Ehh... West is the direction on a map that shows where Europe is relative to Asia

Washington state, my friend, is located in the northwest US. About as northwest as it gets, as are you. I advise you check a compass sometime soon.

(ouch, never thought how condescending that sounds on paper)
Hmm could have sworn that you said North east. Damn you speed reading! I apologize for some reason I thought you said North East.

Mirrors Edge 2.

I loved the art style, except for the cutscenes.
I loved the soundtrack.
I loved the way the combat controls S U C K E D so bad that it discouraged you from engaging enemies and encouraged you to run.
I loved the chase scenes.
I loved the movement controls. Moving all of your actions to only two buttons made it easy to execute those awesome wallrun to swing to coil to slide moments.

Yeah, I'll shut up now before I make y'all sick.

Sequels to any of the games I enjoyed from now-dead series like:

Freedom Fighters
Lords of the Realm
Hidden and Dangerous
Hitman

And after the commercial failure that was Dragon Rising, I doubt there will ever be another Operation Flashpoint game :(

A true sequel to Shadow of the Colossus, or a continuation of the amazing series that began with Ico. Those games really touched me, and it's a shame that the developers don't elaborate further into the beautiful world that they have on their hands. If I was with the dev team, I'd already have pumped out three or four more games. How they don't have inspiration to keep shooting for the stars with their fantastic art direction is beyond me, but hey..
Games that won't come out in my lifetime. :(
