Shit, I could look at my collection and just start naming things (By "Everyone", I assume you are talking about the vocal group on The Escapist since every one of these games sold about a zillion copies) :)

Dragon Age 2
Mass Effect 3 ending
MLB The Show 2011
Madden 2011
FIFA 2012
Call of Duty: Insert Number here
Battlefield 3
Alpha Protocol
Metal Gear Solid 4 (not "Hated" but most would say it's the weakest of the series, which I disagree with)

The obvious two, Dragon Age 2, and Fallout 3. Good games that rabid fans were far too judgmental about.

(I'm looking at you, No Mutants Allowed)

I wouldn't say loved, but i enjoyed FFX-2 and DA2 overall, though i can agree on them both being pretty flawed

Ironic enough, I hate Final Fantasy, but FFX-2 wasn't terrible. It wasn't that good but it wasn't as bad as the game it was a sequel to. The thousand words concert connected me more to those two characters then I ever connected to any of the annoying main romances from any final fantasy game. Especially Yuna and Tidus.

I actually really, really liked OFP: Red River. It was a great mix between realism and fun, with a pretty solid campaign. The sales figures showed nobody even bought it however, and it gets a lot of hate from the ArmA crowd for not being realistic enough and the CoD/BF crowd for being too boring.

I know the Myst series has a rabid fanbase, but good luck finding them these days. Especially Uru. Which is a shame, because Uru is the best one, as well has having the best puzzle in all gaming ever. Bar none. Unbeatable.

I STILL need to get that game installed... It's been sitting in my Steam list for a while, lol.

Anywho, my votes go to Alpha Protocol, one of the best RPGs I've ever played, and Too Human, a game me and a friend spent hours upon hours on. We liked the combat, loved the loot and the worlds and the story. Only bad thing was the camera.

ME3 ending and Fallout 3. Not the most hated things, but a lot of people hate them with a passion.

Okay, probably gong to get a lot of Why?s for this but
Final Fantasy 13 and Sonic the Hedgehog 2006
I just can't really explain why, I found them hard in some ways but still were enjoyably challenging

The new Prince of Persia, I think it was from 2008. People have lots of gripes with it but there are several very interesting little things about it and it try something new (and was immediately crucified for it).

I definitely agree with Fallout 3, an amazing game... No Mutants Allowed and its rabid fans need to chill just a bit. You are SO on your own with Mass Effect 3 and its Deus Ex Crucible though.

Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects

Hands down, my favorite fighting game for original Xbox. Hell, it might still be.
