For some reason, now that I'm getting into it, I'm beginning to dislike Starcraft 2 fans. All this talk about nerfs, buffs and "cheese" strategies. Quite similar to WoW in this regard, but I gave that up around Ulduar.

Really? Is it that bad? I used to play the shit out of Starcraft 1 until a cpl yrs ago when i slowed down on gaming, but now I am back onto RTS's and love it so far. I have been playing the campaign to brush up on a few things before hopping online. I'll tough it out regardless cuz its a fun game but thatd be a bummer.

Halo. Cod. Pretty much any FPS. They all have good points, they all have bad points. Guess what: Cod/Halo/Battlefield/Medal of Honor/Gears of War/whatever isn't the end all be all of FPS gaming. yeah, it's a good game, but i guarantee you it does several things poorly that one of the others does better. Halo has, well, Halo fans. To the point where I eventually considered the series a guilty pleasure, then stopped playing.

Mass Effect has the Talimancers and the people who've made half of all ME-related youtube posts consist of sex scenes, about two-thirds of which are the lesbian ones.

Dwarf Fortress is fun, but if you give less than glowing feedback to the author (who has specifically asked for criticism), expect to be flamed.

I've been a member of the no. 1 Koei fansite since 2007 and I have to say that there are really a lot of people who love the DW series with a passion. Yes, there have been some real issues lately but from the discussions I've seen and participated in most people instead of complaining give hope and reasons on how Koei could improve the series instead of just bitching about it, and when I say give reasons and ideas I don't mean demand them but discuss about them.

At least in my opinion.

I've been on the koei forums and while a lot of people liked the games and for some it's like the only series of games they play there are like quite a few that just don't like the game for the part that's supposed to make it fun and so many of them wish it was romance of the three kingdoms which is a nice series but I don't want dynasty warriors to be that game I want it to be dynasty warriors. Also like one paticular fansite like the kongmin forums seem like they shouldn't even be playing the games cause they hated everything about it even the music. The music!

Also it's always annoying to have the argument as to why we always get bad scores from reviewers one of the mods plays devil's advocate and it drives me nuts.

Oh I don't think i've ever been to that forum. And yeah I know! I mean how can you hate the music in dynasty warriors it's like saying you hate the cheese on a pizza or you don't like all the talking that goes on in an RPG it's insane. When I heard one of the members of the forum say that I just left cause the music in dynasty warriors is so awesome. I mean you can throw a dime and run into a game that has a traditional orchestrated soundtrack but it's not very often you get to have a kick ass awesome rock and roll/Chinese instrumental score I mean it's unique and it's very fun to get into.

I fucking despise the lazy halo reach players I was with last night, who took down the shileds n he first part of spire, alone ? Me. Who took down the spire shileds for part 2 ? Me and some guy. Who got the core off the tower and couldnt win becuase it was just two of us ? Me and that guy.

Seriousy it was just 2 peope putting effort in, the ohers, I havno idea, they werent around the objecive, they werent in the flcon (enemy was I shot it down 2 times) the enemy also had the banshe 3 times (shot them down) then we ick up the core get swarmed by 6 guys.

Thew other 2 mt have just left the controller on hoping to et points or something, fuck those guys.

yeah thats the one bad thing about FO3 it makes snese only if you play a "good" charachter and theres only one path the game allows you to follow
