Oblivion is a must. Really annoyed that I couldnät get mods to work since I found some that feel like a necessity. My game started to crash everytime I used fast travel to go to near my next quest. Couldn't even play shivering isles cause my game crashed everytime I tried to go to Bravil. The quest in that game are for some reason so interesting. Except where you have to go to a dungeon, those are boring as hell.

Someone else looked at those guys, said "fuck you, you're taking too long" and went and did it themselves.
Holy shit! Thanks for that link. I will not have to dig out my copy of TSL to play it.

Saints Row 2 for PC.

Stuffed with bugs ad glitches + no future support from the devs.
But it still beats GTA IV in the WTFLOL department any day.
Playing Co Op with a buddy really makes this game endurable.

I see a lot of people complaining of Oblivion. I never had any problems with it. I play it on PC, so maybe that makes a difference. There were some flaws to it, but I found them to be very minor. I'll go with Just Cause 2, since I love playing it, as long as I'm not doing stupid missions!
I'm guessing you use medium visual settings and have never modded the game once? The moment you mod the game the CTD rate goes through the roof, and the optimization is horrendous. My computer can run Just Cause 2 on max settings, but it still struggles with parts of Oblivion due to it's notoriously bad coding.

Constant 60fps on most visually intense game made to date? Check.
10-30fps on 5 year old game? Check. Wait, what the hell?

If you want, tell me what your problem was with any specific mod or if it was just CTD's, I just reinstalled the entirety of Oblivion and my 200 some odd mods and got the game running as smooth as can be done. Still some crashing that can't be escaped since I'm on a 32bit OS.

Dynasty Warriors...any of them, even the Gundam ones (which REALLY take advantage of me being a Gundam Wing fan)

Square Square Square Square Square Square Square Square Square Square Triangle Square Square Triangle PRESS AND HOLD CIRCLE!!!!!!111!!!!!11!

Rinse, repeat, game.

But it's just so damn fun. I don't know why.

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. The best vampire themed RPG ever. Too bad this game has far too many bugs. But if you can look beyond all those bugs you will find a diamond in there. Story, characters, atmosphere, music are so damn well done and work perfectly in harmony with each situation. Without the bugs it easily would be my choice for best RPG ever.

And damn that haunted hotel part was scary at the first time...

Nope, max settings on everything and I have modded the game. Still no problems. The only problems I ever had were caused by ill made mods. Removed them and it worked great. Other mods worked really well too.

Killer 7's shooting mechanics are fiddly and downright terrible. Don't beat around the bush, they're awful.

But bloody Hell, I can't stop playing it.

mine are probably Mirrors edge and a little PS3 RPG called Folklore. Mirrors edge was fun but got too frustrating sometimes, but Folklore had some of the worst levels ever(Labyrinth) and a crazy story, it had an epic premise though and the characters were fantastic so i loved it.

Bizarre, you may of just lucked out. The PC version is the one everyone complains about. The console versions had almost no issues other than the vanilla bugs that couldn't be resolved with the UOP. With stuff like Streamline, OBSE plugins like Stutter Removal, and Wrye Bash I've minimized crashes, but it still does it now and again, especially if I do too much outdoors and hit the dreaded 1.8GB RAM cap. (The 32bit OS issue)

Out of morbid curiosity, plus my personal revelation that two games I thoroughly enjoy are flawed out the yin-yang, what games do you guys and gals love despite being a buggy or badly designed mess?

Mine: Oblivion and Just Cause 2.

Oblivion- Widely regarded as possibly the worst coded game engine ever, the Gamebryo engine Oblivion runs on is notorious for memory leaks, crashes, save corruption, and an almost complete lack of optimization. And yet, I still put up with it all because I enjoy the game and (mostly) the mod community behind it. Thankfully a lot of these issues were resolved in FO3, hoping New Vegas fixes the rest.

Just Cause 2- Visually impressive and tons of fun to rampage through the world. The downside? The godawful acting, story, enemy AI and enemy systems in general. The Panau army soaks up so many bullets while on Normal difficulty Rico gets wrecked by a few shots, and the army has near perfect accuracy at any distance. Combined with horrible ammo capacities starting out, and you are switching guns every minute or so and constantly having to run from a gunfight. Personal annoyance note: getting 100% on some locations is MADDENING.

Anyway, don't take this as me bashing on either of these games, as I obviously enjoy them a lot. I'm just willingly to admit there are so major issues that would of made them more acceptable to a wider audience.
Just about everything you said lol... this definitely. I love the game even with those flaws.

Maybe I never had any issues because I have a 64 bit OS. Don't know. Loved the game and can't wait for the next.
OT: I've been playing Dragon Age lately, and have noticed one flaw. I don't feel the need or even option to explore. The game feels very cramped to me. I feel restricted with to do just the next quest to keep the story going. Maybe it is just me. What does everyone else think about this in regards to Dragon Age?

Final Fantasy 7, I admit that it has a crap load of flaws that ruined it for many people, but I still love it. One of the games that got me into RPGs.
