There's quite a number of games I haven't finished. Normally i get near the end, get caught up with side quests or something, and then get bored. Ones I can think of off the top of my head...

Oblivion - admittedly because of the mechanics more than anything
The Witcher - got bored, basically. mainly with the combat system, which I didn't particularly like.
FFVII: Crisis Core - typical 'got bored while grinding for sidequest' here.
FFX - I did defeat penance, so I'm sure I'm more than capable of taking out the final boss, I just have absolutely no desire to anymore. That Penance run made me so bored of the mechanics I'm not sure I'll ever touch the game again...
FFXII - I got bored grinding for items to get the best weapons. That, and I'd lost patience with the battle system.
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness - the result of having a 30-40 strong party, and wanting to get all of them to the same level to complete the game. I just got bored with all the grinding. I did get to the final chapter though...

I'm sure there's others, I just can't think what they are...

Not finishing the original Rayman is still a constantly nagging thought for me, despite having tried over and over again I just can't find ALL the bloody cages.

Also DAO, I liked it a lot, but the combat just got boring for me after a while, since it felt like too much of a grind. I'm still giving it a second chance though.

Oh, and Dead Space 2.

That's too bad. DAO is like my favorite game ever.
Wish I could say the same for DA2 though.
Never finished DA2 -- got hit by the slow-mo bug and lots of import inconsistencies (don't even know why they included a DAO save file import when it's like 75% broken). Deleted my first attempt -- haven't had the desire to start again -_-. At least not til a mod comes out that lets you kill all enemies at once to skip battles, because the fights are so @#$%ing tedious and repetetive.
If you're playing on the PC you can use the Dev console. There's a command that kills all enemies in the room.

OT: Starcraft 2, Civ 5 and just about EVERY single Strategy game I've ever touched. For some reason I can NEVER EVER finish strategy games. It's not cause I don't like them. I thought Starcraft 2 was pretty cool...... but I still didn't finish it.

That old Ecco the Dolphin game on PS2. I was bored one day, saw my brother had bought it so I played it some, and actually got quite far (I think) in the 2 days I played it. But one level stumped me for good and I never was able to complete it. Confusing as fuck, it was.
lol, im guessing you got pulled up by a moderator for that haha
What for what?
For saying 'f*ck'
Swearing isn't at all prohibited on these boards. There was actually a topic a while ago where someone was glorying in that - the entire thread was just people being encouraged to swear as profusely as they could. :p

OT: I never finished Ecco either... I haven't an unfinished game on my 360, but I've got an enormous number of original xbox games that I never quite got around to finishing.

Halo:ODST I turned this off after the 2nd mission (where you start playing as Nathan Fillion) The world was completely devoid of life, except the exact same groupings of enemies that came up every 2 minutes...really disappointed.

FIrst thing that pops to mind is Resonance of Fate. I like a lot about the game, but there's not really a whole lot of variety as the game goes on. You get all these interesting new mechanics at the beginning, after about 10 hours you've figured them all out and then there's the other 75% of the game to slog through. I liked it a lot at first and got about 60% through according to the FAQ, but I just really lost interest after a while. Also, most fights take so damn long.

FF tactics. If you've played it I think you know what I'm saying. Takes a huge time commitment (even for one battle)
In a similar vein, the new(ish) Tactics Ogre for PSP. Really solid tactics game and I liked the leveling system, but like most Tactics games it's absurdly long and I just can't stay interested long enough. Played it during just about all my free time for a week and then just stopped.

Viking: Too hard.

Dead or Alive 4: I wanted to get the achievement to finish all stories and then after about two or three stories I remembered why I don't play it...BECAUSE IT'S THE HARDEST ****ING GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED!

Dead Rising: Too hard and when you die you either haven't saved in over an hour or just plain start over again and that is one of the worst things ever.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I just never really got into it, it just seemed so hostile and pointless. Oh, and all the character models look like complete shit (something which becomes especially apparent as the camare zooms in during EACH AND EVERY CONVERSATION!).

There are a lot of games that I haven't played all the way to the end, and it's not because I suddenly become interested in another game. It's because I have what I've dubbed R-NG (stands for Restart-new game) syndrome. However, it's most problematic when I'm playing games like The Elder Scrolls and the Fallout series, trying to figure out new and different ways to flesh out my character to my liking. And then doing it over, and over, and OVER until I finally have a character that I can play for more than 2 days and stick with him/her all the way to the end of the game OR temporarily give up on the game and move on to something else.

Really? You couldn't complete Portal? That's one of the few games that I HAVE completed!

Admittedly, I had to stop for a while because my graphics card at the time was shit (was a GForce 6400, now it's a GForce 9600.) Resumed from where I left off, completed the game, and had cake. ^_^

Mass Effect. I can barely even start that damn thing. The controls are rigid, the combat is repetitive as all hell and frankly if I wanted an interactive story I would wait for L.A. Noire. Which I am.

Don't think I'll ever play Tomb Raider: Underworld again, When I was swimming I kept getting stuck to walls :| I had collected every treasure up to the second level and when I looked at the count I was one short, I looked it up and the glitches are pretty common, so that.

Also Enslaved:Odyssey to the west, good fun but gets a bit tedious after a while.

Is the issue with Dragon Age simply the length? I gave it a hammering from start to finish and put in about 90 hours over the course of a few weeks and never got bored with it. Each to their own I guess.

For myself... Dead Space. After 4 hours of having the same stupid stick monster spasming in the middle of a well lit room before trying to shuffle over and melee attack my Gordon Freeman knock-off I said 'fuck this' to myself and turned it off. It's sat there installed in my Steam folder for well over a year now and I've never felt any need to go back to it.

Battlefield bad company 2. Got to a level where I was being mortared continually, I kept dying over and over again, got bored, gave up.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. I kept falling asleep while playing it. Just wasn't for me.

Splinter Cell: Conviction
The damn laser sections are beyond my understanding, and I cant be arsed to figure it out since every time you gotta start over a bit before the lasers on a level where you get ambushed by tons of guards.

Yakuza 3
I expected an action game, but all you seem to do is run errands for the orphan kids the main character takes care of. After a few hours of that you get some fights, meet a boss, then it's back to taking care of the kids. Get so damn dull, but I will probably finish it eventually.

GTAIV
"Hey Nico, want to do bowling tonight?!"
"No, I'm working."
"F*** you Nico, I never want to see you again!"

Also the car controls were awful.
