Enchanted Arms, the "accessible JRPG", was such a festival of mediocrity I couldn't bear to persevere after my first play. I utterly despise that game...

Yeah, GTA IV was a big disappointment.

Lacked the excessive blood from earlier games and all-over didn't have enough fun innit...

- Bioshock. Didn't scare me, the storyline not as interesting as it hyped itself to be, the multiple path crap is irritating in an FPS and for a game that's so much a shooter and so little an RPG, the aiming was way off. It's certainly not a bad game, but all these completely ruined it for me.
- Morrowind. Tried a billion times to get into it, even added mods to make it prettier, but I always ended up dropping it.
- Resident Evil 4. Acts like an action game, plays like a suped-up survival horror. And there's nothing even remotely scary about it.
- Half-Life 2. Actually, it's not so much that I didn't enjoy it, but after so much wait, I was let down. Still believe that the first was far better.
- GTA: San Andreas. Boring, full of itself and on a dated engine.

- Splinter Cell: Double Agent
- StarCraft
- Half-Life 2 (except Episode 2, I liked that one)
- Final Fantasy.
EDIT: - The Elder Scrolls. Any of them.

Have you ever ended up with a game that has everything you want from it but for whatever reason you can't get into it at all?
Actually, no. Name any game that I don't like and I can articulate exactly *why* I don't like it.

A few things were decently creepy, but most of it was just too silly. The game had terrible controls, and which pretty much meant that they had to limit themselves to extremely simplistic enemies, since anything else would have been impossible to fight. Vastly overrated.

Halo and the Half-Life series. I guess a lot of it has to do with my dislike of fps games, but those two franchises in particular have never managed to draw me in, unlike doom, heretic, rise of the triads or more recently, Left 4 Dead.

Definitely Portal. I've seemed to notice that a lot of people love this game but I just couldn't enjoy it. Sure it had its' witty line here and there but I just didn't see what the commotion was about.

I really liked Portal, but I think a big reason why it's so loved is that Valve kind of snuck it into the Orange Box. It felt like a pleasant surprise whereas most games nowadays are so overhyped.

Fable for me. It had everything I wanted in a game but somehow I couldn't get into it. Whenever I felt like playing a game Fable was never my choice, no matter how much I wanted it to be.

I agree with Xiado, i could never get into Mass Effect, no matter how much i wanted to. Also despite my best efforts i simply can not get into any of Splinter Cell games. I always play the Splinter Cell games but it never really seems all that much fun, just sneaking around.

Final Fantasy 10. The other FF games were tolerable. But then came the one with turn-based combat to screw everything up. Also, if you hate JRPGs, at least try out the demo for Tales of Vesperia. It's not too original, but the battle system works a bit like a fighting game, and it's better than it sounds.
Also, Daikatana. It's too bad to even fall under the "so bad it's good" category I was seeking to fill.

I remember when I got sucked into the black hole that is MMORPG's, and I was steadily playing World of Warcraft every day for 3 hours. At first the game amazed me, I thought it was the best thing ever to exist. Until I realized all it was was killing annoying little pests or getting killed. Which to me got extremely boring after 4 weeks. I thought it was everything and now I have no idea why its so famous and loved. No offense to any WoW gamers.
