The witcher for me, I forced 5 hours into that game but I just couldn't get into it despite the fact I wanted to.

half life 2. im sure at the time it came out it was simply AMAZING but having played it last year it was so dated and clunky and after getting stuck in some random glitch after driving for 30 minutes in a buggy that controlled like a piece of shit i just had to give up.

Believe me when I say that I tried to get into Resident Evil 4. I managed to put aside my hatred for how much attention it was getting and actually play it, but I ended up getting even more bored than I did with previous Resident Evil games and recently I deleted my save file for the game because I needed the memory space.

I think I'd have to say Deus Ex. Not specifically because it's supposed to be this "OMG SO AWESOME" game people say it is, but because my brother gifted it to me, and I feel like a bit of a jerk for not really getting into it. But I can't, I just launch it and get bored fairly quickly and then go to play something else. :(

Minecraft. I just lost my diamond pickaxe in the Nether. I don't want to go to a God damn wiki every time I take two steps.

Ok, it's really old, but I found Maniac Mansion to be one of the most annoying point and click adventure games ever. Despite how there are no negative reviews of it to be found ANYWHERE on the internet, the logic behind many of the puzzles didn't make sense and the fact that you can throw away vital story items was a deal breaker for me. I wasn't expecting the 20 year old game to blow me away, but it definitely blew.
lolz...me too...for me it was the first horror game...10% because of the atmoshere and 90% controls

System shock 1 & 2. I don't know how but it seemed all the time, no matter what I did I was always sitting at like 3 health and would get one shoted by anything, having no chance. This is coming from someone who's beaten demon's souls

Fallout 3, I forced myself like 8 hours into it, and yes it had some great moments but...I dunno, something bout it was just like it's all blended together, no special gaming moments like in Left 4 dead

I really wanted to like Dragon Age. I tried to force myself to like it. Couldn't get more than six hours in with any character. I liked walking around and talking to people, I liked the characters, but as soon as someone drew a weapon, I lost all interest. I guess I'm just not as patient as I was in the days of KotOR.
I liked Dragon Age but there were some parts when I kind of had to...force it. Like, I would be walking around in a town or in a dungeon and I had to ask myself, 'am I having fun' and, 'when did this stop being fun?' Overall it was alright but not enough to do as many playthroughs as I normally do with Bioware RPGs.

Naughty Bear was a game I really wanted to like. I liked how violent the game was. I liked the narration. I liked how paradoxical the friendliness was in contrast to the aforementioned violence. I just couldn't get into the game on the whole.

Bioshock, I don't why I didn't like this game. The game play was decent, the environments were beautiful, and it had a pretty good story. But I just could not get into it

Okami, Valkyria Chronicles, Dragon Age.

Okami because at the end of the day everything was targeted for an audience that was younger than me. Cartoonish writing and button mashing, fetch questing gameplay. Sure, it was pretty, but the novelty really wears off after a few hours. Also, the game didn't end when I beat Oorochi. I was a little pissed. And then I realized that that probably meant I should stop playing.

I just suck at the other two. I got stuck on like the 6th or 7th mission in VC (the one with the bullshit giant tank) and quit. I actually restarted a few months later and beat it. Then I got stuck on the very next mission and quit again. I don't know what the hell happened with DA, but several times I got ambushed by... whatever the evil things were called and could not actually get passed it. After more than 5 retries. This made going between towns an affair that took hours. I think I get too bogged down trying to best my opponents by overpowering them with stats, rather than developing a real strategy. And that was a shame because I really liked the characters.

The multiplayer in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. I REALLY tried hard to like it, but it's just not fun. Even though I come in 1st or 2nd in virtually every match, it just doesn't feel rewarding.

Actually, I'll just say the whole of ACB. I probably would have liked it a lot more if it was just a simple DLC for AC2 with multiplayer thrown in, and with no city renovation or constrictive "100% sync" chicanery.

Mount and Blade: Warband. I should love this game. Start as a mercenary, do quests, build an army, end up fighting in enemy lands, build support, and eventually start a kingdom of your own. Sounds perfect.

Except it's not. The quests are nigh impossible, and if you don't do quests, there's not much else to do. Most of them amount to finding a person that is running around the game map before a set number of days expires. Or I can build a small army of 60 men, but every enemy army is over 200 men strong. I have no chance if I fight them. Bandits are scarce to train on. So I just jousted a whole bunch and eventually got to build my army to 70 men. Then I quit, because 7 hours in and getting absolutely no where is not my idea of fun.

Portal. I only finished it because it was short and easy, so I breezed through it in one sitting. It never actually made me care, though. Also, the 'dark humour' that most people claim sets it apart was just bland and predictable. I wish I understood why this game is revered as some kind of high point in gaming when it was so mediocre in every possible way. Seriously, why would you make an easy puzzle game? Who wants that? What the hell does it accomplish? Puzzles are supposed to be challenging, dammit!

Probably AC:B. My brother got it, and I just played it for the multiplayer (which was immensely fun by the way, had a 0.58 win ratio, no joke.) I just couldn't get into the single player though, it was just way to similar to AC2.
