I completed that game over many long train journeys, with other passengers looking bewildered as get slightly overexcited every time the AI misses a shot. I try to stop my manic laughter but to no avail.
I'm crap at fighting games... Even if i spend HOURS practicing and memorising killer combos for a particular character, they end up flying right out the window when I come up against one of my mates. Yeah, button masher fo' lyfe...
Racing games in general. I brake once, every three races. That might explain my suckery. On GTA, however, I rock at driving. Well, only if I'm being chased by the cops. Well, only if...
Basically, I can only drive in games if I need to do stunts to escape from cops in GTA - which excludes a few situations.
I hate racing, and all GTA except GTA2.
I suck sooooooo much at both that its a standing joke with my friends that I can master any multiplayer game except racing...
If its cars and gaming, I will fail so epically. Hell, Enter The Matrix car chases I'll fail 19/20 times.
Actually there is one racing game I will pick up and play without too much Hulk-stomping and thats Motorstorm. Dunno why, but I enjoy that game and can't stand any other one.
Gears of War is one of my favorite games to play over Xbox Live with friends, but for some reason, when I just feel like jumping on and playing a few rounds without people I know, I always seem to get into a game where everyone on the opposing team has played nothing except for Gears of War since it came out, and I get a team which is about as useful as a sack full of puppies who have Downs Syndrome. Losing the match with a final team score of 7-0 and having about three kills when everyone on the opposing team has about ten is just embarrassing.
And Starcraft. I've actually managed to beat the campaign mode. but whenever I feel like logging online for a few matches I always seem to be the first person to die in the room. It always goes down along the lines of "Alright, I've saved up enough minerals to make some Marines to put in my bunkers. Now lets build and engineering bay so I can upgrade them up a bit and.... HOLY SHIT! Hows does this guy already have Ultralisks and a full team of Mutalisks?! Is this even possible?! He has a full fledged army and I've barely gotten ten marines! What Black Magic is this?!"
Oh well, it's still a fun game.
I always feel bad when I start playing MMOs and I have no idea what I'm doing and there are always those max levels that play the game every single hour of their lives and kick my ass at every opportunity.
But if I keep playing I usually end up being one of them (if not so obsessed) and look back at what a noob I was. So I wouldn't say I'm bad at them.
EDIT: Just want to congratulate myself on this being my 69th post.
I generally suck at anything that give me a couple tanks/knights/orcs and says "Have at them!". Never tried an RTS until recently, mostly because I figured that I would probibly become the definition of suck at anything that looked that complicated. And by golly was I right.
i suck at any puzzle game ever made. other game i've played (espically RTS's) i get in and learn the statagy's and im soon playing on expert. expect for any crytek game
I'm awful at Racing games, and while I used to be decent at platformers and adventure games, I have taken to the brute force approach, i.e. button mashing, in those.
That's what happens when you play too many RPGs...
Well, quite frankly, I down right scrape the bottom when it comes to most gaming genres. The only games I'm good at are TF2 and a whole bunch of ememoharrpeegees.
