Are you serious? This is what I was playing after I sat down on my computer:

I grow tired of all games, but never of roguelikes.

Unless the game doesn't just have bad graphics, but is also plain ugly, in a way that actually hampers gameplay. But even then I can't think of any game that does that.

If KotOR (both I and II) had modern visuals, I would have a tough time putting down those games.

As it is, I'm obsessed with the two already, but improved visuals would sweeten the deal even further, to compliment already-excellent stories and gameplay.
very true, i had just imagined kotor mixed with ffxiii cutscenes=nearly died from nerdgasm

While I normally don't give two shits about graphics, I'd play Morrowind if the graphics weren't so fucking terrible.

None, really. Graphics arent important, as long as they get the job done clearly.
Graphics dont sell games for me. Interface, story and gameplay does.
THe only one i modified was Dwarf fortress since it works a bit better with a custom tileset IMHO (maygreen for me).

While I've never really cared that much about graphics, I would certainly play all of my PSX games if all of the characters didn't look like triangle-based monsters.

I find it difficult to play Fallout 3 because the ps3 version has NO anti-aliasing.

Everything always looks jagged, and when you move about there are pixels flashing about everywhere. It gives me a headache trying to decipher whats happening sometimes.
Ironic? the all and powerfull PS3 does not have such simple grapic enhancements ^.^

although I haven't played the PS3 version but I bet you cannot even modify the graphic settings compared to the PC version

The PS3 has anti-aliasing, Fallout 3's just a crappy port.

Diablo 2. Any time I go back and play Diablo 2 it looks worse and worse, but if I play it long enough again I get used to it.

Even though I love FF6 for what it is, I would more than welcome an FF6 remake with FF13 quality visuals *drools*. God damn that would be awesome, but then again I still love good old 2D sprite work.

Pac-Man. It like seems so old and totally stupid.

SARCASM. I think graphics should be third after story and gameplay.
Agreed. Gameplay, story, then graphics. Even if the graphics were amazing. If the game itself had lacking gameplay and a terrible story, it wouldn't be very fun, no?

Graphics shouldn't matter to anyone.
Because everyone loves being able to count the number of pixels their game is displayed on with the fingers of two hands.
If a game is defined solely of its graphic detail, than that's really sad. I don't care about the level of detail. Sure, it's nice to see realistic faces and objects, but it shouldn't be crucial. I'd play Deus Ex any day over Crysis.
I don't like playing games that don't look good. It snaps the immersion right in half, and I get easily bored of them. If a game is visually appealing and vibrant, chances of me liking it are higher.
