Fallout 3. I played it when it just came out and that game was balls deep in bugs, but I loved that game.

Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalker. Most people complain about the bugs and other issues but I have over 100 hours in it and will be buying the 2012 edition in a couple hours.

Some of my favorites are riddled with bugs: Fallout 3 goty, Saints Row 2, San Andreas.
They?re all really fun.... When they work.
Otherwise, I don?t really pay attention to the opinions of critics. It?s hard to tell they pan on anything, it seems to me that they overrate everything.

KotOR2 is still my favorite Bioware game in spite of its many flaws.

So...that.
Kotor 2 is not a Bioware game, only the first one was.

the sequel was made by Obsidian Entertainment (aka: the sequel guys). seriously just look at their wikipedia page. Alpha Protocol is the only original IP theyve developed so far :p

and Kotor 2 is still their best game, despite being their first.

i can forgive Far Cry 2. i didnt really like the single player campaign, so much so that i couldnt stand to play past like 12% of it. but the multiplayer was fun and interesting, and the map editor was fantastic.

Surprisingly I liked Resident Evil 5 a lot because the controls were different from all other games at the time. It was also helped by the story being at least somewhat funny and Albert Wesker being a badass in a leather trench-coat. Make a note that I have not yet played Resident Evil 4 so that probably influenced my opinion of it, but I still had fun with it :D

STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl was riddled with bugs and some laughable NPCs. The setting and absolute creepiness of the game set the immersion really well and the glitches were easily ignorable. One time I threw a grenade at an enemy and he ran off the top of a building. Soooo... LOL!

Farcry 2.
It has so many flaws but I still love it to death.
Same I'm playing it now.
But I don't see too many flaws apart from the respawning checkpoints.
My friend got Far Cry 2 for the first time recently. Playing it made me regret selling my copy. Yes, it was flawed, but daaaamn...those graphics! And exploring was great when you weren't getting ambushed by patrols every 5 minutes.

I loved the first Just Cause, although for some reason others didn't. Sure, it was a bit repetitive, but it was great to explore and find new vehicles. The new one was too limited in its weapons and vehicles and just didn't deliver for me in the same way the first did. Shame...lots of potential.

And the Tony Hawk games were a huge part of my childhood. Looking back, they're probably not as good as I remember...still a hell of a lot of fun though.

The first Assassin's Creed, the game is so fucking repetitive but the atmosphere and story are so immersive I couldn't help but get sucked into it.

Also Dragon Age 2, I got really annoyed at the copy pasted dungeons, but I forgave it for the story.

Harvest Moon: Tree of Traquility
Bad visuals, annoying music, repetitive grind, and you can't even separate stacked items. Still play it hours on end and enjoy it.

I would definitely have to say Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. So many bugs that it's developers kinda gave up on it and it became one of the ultimate fan 'Fixer-upers'.

the Call of Duty series.
yeah yeah, it requires little to NO strategy, the hit detection is off, knife teleporting is cheap as shit, and the guys from IW seem like the most smug assholes this side of Bobby Kotik's ego, but I've had a lot of fun with those stupid games over the years. it's a guilty pleasure of mine. not to mention, I played nothing but TF2 for about a month, got Black Ops, and started owning the shit out of people by using actual strategy and cunning.

Aliens vs Predator (2010) is kinda bland and the multiplayer is pretty much dead (shame, it was actually really REALLY fun), but I give it props for being able to get my heart racing every time. gather round on children, and I'll spin you a magical yarn...
so I'm playing Infestation (everyone is a Marine, one guy goes Alien. every Marine that dies spawns as an Alien. it gets hectic as shit when you have 10+ players) on Pyramid (my least favorite map. can't see shit since it's so dark, the entire inside shifts like a giant maze. Aliens and Predators DOMINATE this map). I'm trying to get to one of the unofficial safe-zones (there's a few rooms around the border of the map with some decent lighting. all the Marines tend to hole up here, especially in Infestation) and I meet up with 2 other Marines. we jump down a hole and, due to it being pitch black, I get separated after walking into a wall for a good 20 seconds. I see their arrows, and decide to follow. I notice one of the doors leading to a safe room, but it's not open, so I decide to wait for the inside to shift so I can get inside and join my teammates. then it happens. a high-pitched blip on my motion tracker. there was something RIGHT next to me. it goes dead. then, a few seconds later, ANOTHER blip. and ANOTHER. so I start spraying my pulse rifle all over the place. I hear a menacing hiss behind me. I turn around. then I hear another hiss behind me. all this time, m motion tracker's going apeshit and I can't see ANYTHING. all of a sudden, I'm knocked flat on my ass and killed. to have a game be legitimately intense and frightening in MULTIPLAYER is quite a feat. can't wait for Colonial Marines.

Fallout: New Vegas. But sometimes it's hard to forgive some of the bugs (quest items that you cannot get rid of after the questline is over, doing things in a certain order can make some quests unwinable, etc). I hope Skyrim is less buggy. Bethesda's games are often buggy, but enjoyable.

KotOR2 is unforgivable, and KotOR isn't even my favourite anything. KotOR 2 only has good writing and voice acting, which does not constitute a game, let alone a good one.

I would agree, however, with everyone who said Mirror's Edge. The forced combat towards the end sucked, but other than that it's perfectly servicable. True, I've only played it twice, but I will play it again sometime. The aesthetics and atmosphere work very well, and quite frankly so did the platforming. People always say 1st person platforming just doesn't work, but I don't know where they're coming from. It works in shooters (back when shooters still had jumping puzzles) and it works in ME. Except on that one ledge, and those airvents :p

I'm sure I've played and liked many many games of which general consensus would say they're not very good, but I've enjoyed them so much, I don't think of them as bad, so I have nothing to forgive them.
Darksiders isn't actually considered bad, only somewhat derivative. In my opinion, it should have been highly successful on the PC, cuz we get neither Zelda nor God of War. And really, a mix of two good things can only introduce people to two good things via one title.

Duke Nukem Forever? It's getting absolutely crucified for being just dumb-fun. I guess reviewers don't realise that sometimes throwing back to a certain era or type of game is always welcome and refreshing. In all honesty, playing Duke Nukem Forever just made me realise that bizarre weaponry and obscure game mechanics was what made the FPS genre so fun and playable pre let's say 2002, if only just a little bit.

Vampire Rain. I've been told numerous times that I'm probably the only one in the world who loves it, but it really felt like what a stealth game should be to me.

Kane and Lynch: Dog Days. Yes, the gameplay may be slightly repetitive, yes, the Dobermans were bloody annoying, but i love it to bits. Mostly because of the "Filmed by the world's worst camera" Effect i love.

Dragon Age 2.

Say what you will, it's a damn good game and is more closer to the Sacred Ashes trailer:

Looks a lot like Dragon age 2 to me.

Also, Fallout New Vegas: Cass and Boon. THAT IS ALL.

Way of the samurai 3; The camera sucks and the Voice acting sucks harder but the fighting is amazing and they know when to be serious or silly.

But most in all, it's make me feel like a badass.

Brink. A few mechanical issues, but damn I keep going back to it.
This. It's just so addictive! Even doing the single player challenges with the unforgiving AI is fun, and also rewarding as you get EXP every time!

Like a lot of users here: Dragon Age 2.

Yes the caverns/mansions etc were bloody repetitive, yes the plot had a few holes in it, yes it didn't allow enough NPC interaction like in Origins. I still loved it. I loved the characters, the story, overall, was pretty good, the fighting was more interactive than in origins (for consoles). Hopefully DA:3 will not be rushed and will have some time put into it.

I would also have the say the Sims series. It does get boring and repetitive...yet why does it keep dragging me back?!...Damn I can't wait to upgrade my PC so I can get the 3rd series...
