the sands of time trilogy, games 1 and 3. didn't beat 1 because it got old, fast, and didn't beat 3 because that boss was annoying.

Turok. I finished it since then, but the last boss fight was rather cheap, so I got turned off of it.
It's easy you
Find the shotgun and use the flares to distract the T-rex, there is a mounted rocket launcher somewhere that damages it pretty good
I said I finished it, but I did use the rocket launcher, shot 10 rockets, and the damned behemoth STILL didn't go down.

Final Fantasy VIII! Never actually finished it by myself with my own characters because my bloody copy broke on the last disc! I was so incredibly wounded because it was probably one of if not the best game from my childhood.

I put off Finishing Witcher until the enhanced edition comes out.

Then I said "fuck it I'm not gonna replay stalker again" and look at the other 2 endings on youtube.

Also, I'll never finish that Supcom campaign - well, all 3 of them anyway.

This one is gonna make me look dumb...

I am ONE achieviement away from 100% on Oblivion. It's the "Duke Mania" one. I chose the other and saved, now I have to re-do the ENTIRE GAME over again with a new charachter. I am stupid, Lol.

Okami. I've never played a Legend of Zelda game (yeah, I admit it) so I just didn't expect how long the game would be. I thought it would be over once you defeated that multi-headed demon (or rather, when the wannabe samurai defeated it), but it wasn't. I continued on for quite a bit longer, though, but then I got to a part where I had to go in a Wind-Waker-esque boat to search for something or other. I couldn't find it and had to return the game to the rental store, and I haven't gotten back to it because there's no room for my PS2 in my dorm.
This is another I can add to my list as well. I got to the part where you had to do the digging minigame for the bamboo cutter's daughter. I just could not for the life of me get the water jet (when you draw a straight line up out of a spring) to work. And then my memory card got fried and I lost the save, along with the Dragon Quest VIII one I mentioned in my previous post.

- Half Life 1, I got close to completeing it then my home pc crashed and I lost all my saves etc etc

- The Prince of Persia Sands of Time, frustratingly hard, I just gave up on it in the end.

- GTA San Andreas, I just never got round to completing the last mission.

Deus Ex 2.

The game would have been good if they tried harder with the writing. Now, it feels like nothing more then an imitator. The charecters are mostly pushovers and annoying rather then someone you would rather listen. The game was also full of idiotic design choices, like universal ammo. Universal ammo means that it doesn't matter if you have a pistol or machine gun, it will use the same ammo. While it may sound great, it meant that you will almost always be running out of ammo.

I'm a big fan of the RPG genre but have only had the need to finish 2 games: Grandia 2 & Shadow Hearts 2 (both multiple times I might add).

I loved Xenogears but got stuck on a boss who had no skin and piloted a city-sized robot that was invincible for the first part of the fight; when he ceased being invincible I was always close to dead.

Grandia 1: second disc wouldn't work and I had no will to find a replacement.

Final Fantasies 5-12: I would always get to around 80-90% through them and lose interest. Perhaps this was due to the fact that once you reach this point you are often given a vehicle of some description and are allowed to go anywhere with the intention that you go looking for the optional activities.

LOTR 3rd Age: not exactly sure why I bought this but I got to the last boss and completely lost all interest.

PSO I&II (it's actually only one game): grindfest.

GW Nightfall & EOTN: completed Prophesies and Factions then got just over halfway through Nightfall and became incredibly bored. Bought EOTN hoping it might rekindle my interest in GW; I was wrong.

FINAL. FANTASY. 12. So, just... I don't know. I just have no desire to play it anymore. I just can't relate with the "I r teh Sky pirate, Grrrr!" protagonist.
...
I just find myself wanting to skip the cut scenes because the only people worth following, Fran and Balthier, are just kind of side quests, and not integral to the central story...
Of all the Final Fantasies, 12 is the one I least like (and that includes X-2!). The only way I could play it was to use the Dustia trick to get Vaan to level 30 before I got the rest of the characters; thus eliminating any grinding. Even then the story goes to pot after you defeat Judge Bergan. I did eventually manage to force myself, boredom being a powerful incentive, to reach the point where the Bahumut appears. I finally gave up on it.

I bought MGS2 for PC even though the controls for MGS1 on the PC port were pathetic, I played it up until the bit where you fight all those Metal Gear Ray's, I didn't even bother trying after the 4-5th time and haven't played it since(probably the worse game in the series). Can't remember if I ever finished Black either(had to replay the bridge level quite a few times).

Half-Life 2. My computer's graphics are crap so it's hard enough to play with the horrifically low framerate and load times. And then my older brother suddenly decides it's time to rebuild it because it's slow.

I can't do the first Zone of Wipeout Fusion; I really rely on that pit lane.

And Black: I gave one try at the asylum level on hard, and decided that blowing stuff up on normal with infinite ammo is probably more fun.
