A DAMN BLAZBLUE ARCADE CABINENT.

I've looked everywhere, and can never find one.

*sigh* One day...
Make one...

OT: I have been searching for (Should I say had been searching) Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 on PS2 for about... 3 years. I couldn't find it anywhere until about 2 days ago when I was in EB Games by chance the other day looking through their sale items when I got talking to the sales attendant about some game or another. I asked him to have a quick look in the system for any traded in copies of Dark Alliance 1 or 2 then lo and behold. There was one in the State. About 30 mins drive away. I now own it :D.

I'm still looking for Dark Alliance 1 so anyone in WA, Aus that sees one and doesn't want it for them self feel free to PM me or contact me through my email or gamer tag. Both of which are on the profile.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Assassin's Creed 2 Black Edition. I know people who beat the game, on PC, before I got my Pre-Ordered copy. I didn't go to huge lengths.

I only drove for an hour to get to the shop to pre-order it then drove an hour home. Had to call the shop about 7 times and have my mum go in and cry to the manager literally to get him to post it to me on the other side of the country as I'd moved between pre-ordering it and release date. Also when I got my Collectors Edition of the game the box was broken. So I went around the city to about 12 shops looking for cancelled pre-orders to get my box swapped.

I also drove for 2 hours to get a pre owned copy of Oblivion GOTY.

I also spent about 3 hours total looking through the store inventories over the course of 4 weeks to get ahold of DA:O Collectors on 360 as the store I was working at (and almost every other store in the state) only had PS3 copies. I ended up finding one which was returned, still wrapped, as an unwanted gift.

Metroid: Zero Mission, for GBA. Is it so bad that I wanted a Metroid game? Never found it.

You guys really need to check eBay. I can usually find any game I'm looking for on there. Provided you're careful you should be able to avoid all the illegal copies, and still find the game you want at a decent price.

I recently got Final Fantasy Origins, Anthology, IV, VII, VIII, IX, XII, Advent Children and the Advent Children OST on eBay for £95! That's ridiculously cheap

Gauntlet: Dark Legacy for XBOX. Found it finally, and then found out it wasn't backwards compatible for the 360.

This thread is pure win, it just shows the love of game we all have that we go to such lengths to find them.

I have tried to limit myself to current generation titles as I don't have a working ps2 to go find all the metal gear games and what not. They are on my list though, maybe if they release a metal gear collection on the ps3 I will actually buy the system.

Currently the only game I have a hard time finding is Deadly Premonition, I search and asked and rang up every games store in the city and none of them had ever even heard of it or had it on their system. So online I check, turned out they aren't releasing it in Europe, what a kick in the crotch.

Grim Fandango is pretty hard to find too, I had to settle for a torrent, and I had never even heard of Shadow Of The Colossus until I came onto game forums and such, that's how 'rare' it is, I had never even seen it in the shops, even when it just came out.

Several years ago I went to every game store in the city looking for a copy of FFVII. I finally did find a copy after about the 5th store.

The first Sly Raccoon game. I gave up after about 3 days and just got it off eBay.
Which, in itself, is pretty exotic for me.

Same It actually just arrived today. It took me forever to find this game.
Also Battletoads I have bid on it 4 times, and every time I get outbid at the last second.

Well, back when I was 11 or 12, I tried out Megaman ZX on DS. Over the next number of months I would search all the close game stores. I later remembered my brother said he'd take me out to buy a game or two for my birthday and I went out once again hoping to find it. We did 8D

I got in a discussion of favorite old RPG's with a friend and I brought up Ogre Battle 64. About a year of looking for it locally I broke down and bought a copy of Ebay for $50.

Luckily during the search for it I found Grim Fandango for $10!

Surprising, I couldn't find a copy of Singularity anywhere. I actually when to Myers with my mom and found one.

Also, I was ona scavenegr hunt for every single Trauma Center and Fatal Frame II. I found Trauma Center Under The Knife at a gamestop, then the second under the knife at another gamestop, same for second opinion. I had to order New Blood off of Amazon. Well worth it though. Haven't Found Fatal Frame.

Also I'm looking for every single Silent Hill. Only have Two and Homecoming. Hard to find the rest.

EDIT: Totally forgot. tried finding System Shock 2 and finally got a copy from my dads friend. Until i found out it didn't work on my computer. It froze after the tutorial. I cried.

Just Cause 2 and Red Dead Redemption. I mean, jesus, I never realized how many gamers there were in a town that has a population half made up of college students!

Timesplitters: Future Perfect.

Played it at a friends house, shit myself at its awesomeness.

My local game stores, however, have barely any GameCube or XBox games left, and barely and Playstation 2 games.

Still a-looking.
