Fallout 3, just overplayed it thats all, if I were to ever play it again it would be to get the achievements (which I only need like two or three to go)

WoW. Even though I don't want to uninstall it, as most of my hard drive IS WoW by now.
C&C4. First few levels and a few skirmishes told me that it was pretty poor.

For now at least, I very highly doubt that I will ever be able to assemble the nerve to go back to playing MW2. To me the game was never really fun, just frustrating. I went online to kill some time, relax, and have some fun and get my thoughts back together before I went back to work on something. Over time, I found myself just getting annoyed at all the other glitcher's cheap generic class builders, annoying lag, and overall gameplay in general. I just don't think I will go back to it.

The first game that comes to mind; Final Fantasy 8. The junction system, and poor plot* FINALLY made me say "no more!"

[sub]*The game started off fine, but towards what had to be the end, when you start having flashbacks to your childhood, and realize you already knew everyone in your party... well that just killed the whole thing for me.[/sub]

A lot of games where you have to grind plenty. Also, sometimes games that have annoying escort or protect levels, and unless the storyline is interesting enough (i.e. most star wars games) I just give up. Two of the most annoying ones I can remember are Spartan: Total Warrior and Brute Force on the original Xbox, both had stories that were pretty crap but the games were enjoyable up until moments where you had to protect very annoying and seemingly insignificant people.

If a game has a story (or an attempt at one - looking at Mirror's Edge and MW2 here!) I'll complete the single player. It might take a while, I might die a few times, but screw it, I'm stubborn, I'm not going to yield just because a game's hard (though I might change the difficulty setting). However, there's an off chance that I may never play it again afterwards. So yeah, there are plenty of games I've just stopped playing, but I've made sure to play to the end of the story mode first.

Mass Effect
Bayonetta

Dragon age. I just wasn't having fun, so I quit.

Edit: also, Mount and blade. It was really fun, and then it wasn't. I still don't know what happened.

Oblivion, I like an open world as much as the next guy, but some direction is preffered.
That, and Sacred 2, is the only game I stopped playing before finishing. I have also played nearly every game I own more than once. An exception to this is FFXIII, once was enough for me, and I struggled to get through that.
