Square Enix and Eidos have only made 2 Just Cause Games! I want to hijack a plane again! Edit: Medievil! That series was amazing!

Homeworld. Apparently RTS games are suddenly not profitable!
I would pay a lot for Homeworld 3, so would many other people.

EA? I KNOW you ate Bullfrog. Let Peter make Dungeon Keeper 3. And make sure it doesn't suck like DK2 did.
\

DK2 did not suck under any circumstances? Are you drunk?

Yes you may of thought it was "bad" but it certainly did not suck.

Or were trying to be a "cool dude" and hate all sequels that aren't your precious circle-jerk of nostalgia?

posted at 11:11. that is my wish....
I remember when they announced Pokemon stadium, I originally thought it was going to be something along those lines. Boy, was I ever disappointed with Pokemon stadium...

I'd love that game to be made though. Hell, I might even be willing to play it with all those stupid extra Pokemon they added.

Maybe. God damn I hate every Pokemon >150.

Too many companies are sitting on IP's that would make GREAT games and help break up this monotony of endless sequels that's starting to wear thin on me to the point that I'm losing interest in gaming.

I was thinking of some properties that really should have gotten sequels and probably still could if these companies would just get off their butts and do it. So I ask, what would you like to see and who has some ideas for petitioning these companies in a show of community solidarity?

For me it would either be Shogo 2 or Oni 2. Both of those games originals are cherished additions to my collection to this day and it's an injustice that no sequels ever were brought forth, especially since Bungie is more than available to do something other than their next IP and HALO knockoffs.
Your idea to break up the monotony of endless sequels is to release more sequels? ...

Your problem is clearly not with sequels at all. Your problem is not getting the sequels you want.

I love it when people post stuff like that, because you can tell when someone is just going along with the "new Pokémon suck because they're not old" fad rather than an actual fan of the games. There were 151 original Pokémon. Might I ask what you have against Mew? Rhetorical question; I already posted the answer before I asked. ;)

Relic and THQ are sitting on the Homeworld license. It was a fantastic rts with real 3d battles.
Rebellion is sitting on the Evil Genius license and all they have done is made a facebook game with it.

In before FF7 remake.

But really, need more square-enix.
Capcom as well. I miss Onimusha.
Yahtzee's game.
Also, I'd love to see them make the 1997 Blame! into a game.
Yes, more JRPGs. Because it's not like we possibly have too many as is.

To be honest, I'd love to see Just Cause 3. The second one was wildly different from the first and changed the way I felt about open-world third person action games.

A true Theme Park World. Populus remake? C&C4 retake. Unreal Tournament 3 retake. I used to know loads but quite a few have slipped my mind. Black & White? Nah, From Dust was similar but better.
Metal Slug?
Smugglers Run?
A reinvention of Burnout, not this new Kinect crap?

SWAT 5!

I would pay up to $500 to have Battlefield franchise neutered.

It pisses me off immensely them spending $100 million on trailers while here we have STALKER that should be going down any minute now. Hopefully Bohemia Interactive picks it up.

Mirror's Edge, that was a game that needed a sequel,
You're joking, right? That game didn't even need an original, let alone have a second equally appalling release. It was quite rightly a critical and financial failure and was the only console game in recent memory I've returned to the shop for being terrible.

Square Enix should make a new Chrono game as a release title for the PS4. Then, my heart may finally be content.

Also, Rockstar, please hurry the fuck up with the Bully game, no one's getting any younger. Sincerely, everyone.

At least the game was original. It had an original premise, it had original gameplay and it was an original IP, unlike the sequel shitfests that we usually get. Try counting how many AAA titles this year were original IP's.

Also, it had great graphics.

Nintendo is sitting on the Pokemon IP and refusing to do anything with it.

All they are doing is remaking the same game time after time with an extra hundred Pokemon or so.

They need to make a 3D Pokemon MMO (which would make so much money that Nintendo could gold plate all Wiis in existence for no cost to the consumer), or a 3D Pokemon game with online battling and stuff.

Customising your Pokemon with scars, your trainer with clothes and stuff, exploring a massive open 3D Elder Scrolls sized land, battling trainers online, foiling Team Rocket's plans, quests and stuff, epic 3D Pokemon battles. It'd be great, but they continue to essentially remake the same game.
