So I have a gaming confession to make; I've never played League of Legends. I know, somehow I've missed playing the next best thing since sex and sliced bread.

I've thought about playing and have watched videos and even watched other people play, but I've never committed myself. Even looked up the different champions to see if there was one I really liked. Its for two main reasons;

1: Its Free-to-play. I HATE FTP, and I hate what it makes developers do to their playerbase (its the same reason I don't play Planetside 2 since the Beta or Blacklight anymore; the amount of time OR money required is just ridiculous. $15 to be able to use the AA tank or dozens of hours of gameplay time? No thanks). So my choice is to hope I like whatever free champions they have that day, or that if I buy a champion that its A: One I wind up liking and B: Doesn't suck ass? Yeah, right (especially considering my track record of picking characters who don't suck in games). It's basically like if CAPCOM only let you use Ryu and Cammy with Street Fighter and made you purchase or rent all of the other characters, balance and fun be damned.

2: The community. Good lord, even just watching LoL be played is painful - it makes WoW and CoD look tame; and I frequently play a Healer in WoW, meaning I'm on the receiving end of some pretty nasty stuff if the slightest thing goes awry. Light save your soul if you pick a character people don't think is "meant" for that lane, or they just don't think is good. Or forbid even stumble one time.

I honestly might be more willing to try it if it came with a "Spend $60-$80 one time and get everything or only spend what you think you might want" so that way I could just drop the price of a new game ONE time and be able to use the game in its entirety rather than having to piecemeal it and possibly wind up spending $100+ on the game just to find out what I like in the game.

At least then I wouldn't feel like I'm being mugged by both the game and the community.

I'm not sure if that's really a rare thing to confess. I've never played it either and don't see it as a big deal because everything I had heard about it was pretty average especially all the stuff about the community is terrible but you mentioned that in you post. I may not have played it but I played it's rival DOTA 2 but didn't really think it was that fun but that's just me.

I guess my confession would be I have never played a Final Fantasy game. Yep, none at all. This is mostly because when they were a lot more poplar I didn't really like RPGs but that has changed now and I can't really be bothered going out of my way to play some of the older ones.

I've never played LoL either. I'm just not into MOBA games. I played DOTA 2 and didn't particularly like it. I think I might try Smite at some point, since that seems a bit more actiony, because the whole third person top down thing made me feel really disconnected from the game, and kind of made me uninterested in the whole thing. It's really the same reason I've never been into PvP in RPGs.

Well, my confession would be totally opposite. I've played too damn much Dota, and I still enjoy it.

My confession is that i like game with female characters with giant boobs . My only complaint is that i'd like a character with a giant booty . Now i don't think that jiggle physics is bad , but it's not necessary , big boobs are enough . I'm going to stop here because i don't want this to turn into a discussion about sexism .

Confession 2 . I haven't played a sandbox game this generation . Except LA Noire but that doesn't count because it wasn't a real sandbox .

Meh, I haven't played LoL either, and I don't plan on starting any time soon.

Anyway, my confession is that I haven't played what are considered to be classics: Half Life and Deus Ex, just to name a couple.
Also, I hate competitive multiplayer. Not much of a confession, I know, but I still wanted to put that out there.

Throughout my life I used a Gameshark because it was more fun. I'm just now moving on from Easy to Normal modes in most games. I never developed any skill because I cheated so much.

None of the champions suck, but there are match-ups.

And I'm part of the community, I don't think I'm that bad.

My confession is I think World of Warcraft and all MMOs like it are a monetary cancer on gaming and the sooner they shut down the better.

Despite absolutely adoring games with great stories and playing most of the old RPGs such as Baldurs Gate and Fallout, I have never actually played Planescape Torment. I've even backed the new Torment-game without having played the first one, it has kind of haunted me =)

I've never played Half Life. Or Half Life 2. Or any of the Episodes. Or even TF2 even though it's now F2P. No, I don't have anything against Valve, just other games got my attention is all. Hey, get off my back! I did play Portal!

I hate all realistic sports games, I don't really like sports in general but I can not sit down and play any realistic sports games. I actually liked NFL Blitz cause it was outlandish but that was in the arcade.

My confession is I started the Elder Scrolls universe with Skyrim, I do however have Oblivion waiting in my Steam que once I get to it. I started playing PC games in 94 but I was overseas and cut off from a lot of the current stuff for 3 years. Then when I came back to the States I was a RTS whore for years. I liked arcade style flying games as long as I could fly around and shoot things basically. I never got into RPG type games until I picked up Dungeon Siege II on a whim.

I secretly want to like DmC...nope couldn't keep a straight face.

I am afraid to play Bioshock Infinite on the off chance that it may replace my other favourite shooter by being so mind blowingly awesome.

My plan to play its sequel after witnessing the awesomeness of the original Deus-EX was short-lived after doing a quick research on the web to learn that it was lauded as a travesty and the mockery of the first game.

#1, never played any of the resident evil games but code veronica (never had the chance brother hogged the console when we grew up)

#2 never played kingdom hearts ff8 or ff9 (fixing both 1 and 2 soon as i got my hands on em)

#3 never played LoL

#4 Dark Souls (don't hate me for this its only under the circumstances)
If I get invaded and it turns out its a hacker I myself had the hacks running in the background
in the inactive mode so I could deny a grief hacker his fun NOTE NEVER USED ON NON HACKERS AND NO CHEATS USED
even though people see a level 9 with the dragon form (played the game to much I know every nook and cranny)

#5 Team Fortress 2, I always go defence when i see no engies etc even though my main class is a sniper
which I also sometimes don't shoot the bad snipers on the other team, I wave my machette at them instead and dodge

and finally ill end my rambling with Starcraft 2

I like laddering and going against newbies or even unranked ladder match, just because I can show them a few tricks and tips but ill never give them a chance at winning if I can help it (unless they're in a ranked match and I'm in the unranked system)

Final Fantasy X-2 was the first FF I played, and I loved it.

I'm a girl and was 11. I didn't play too many video games, apart from some Mario games. So I go over to my older cousins house whose playing Prince of Persia, he teaches me how to play and I like it. I then ask him if there any video games he has with female main character. He gives me Final Fantasy X-2, it blew my mind.

Like oh god guys, It started with a concert, where she was singing and she was wearing a cute outfit. I was sooooooo into it. I didn't what the hell was going on, it took me a while to get used to the gameplay. But the dresspheres were so cool, it was like nothing I'd see before. So yah it's my confession, I can't help that my 11 year old self loved it and got me into other JRPGs. Which I hardly play anymore....

Haven't played LoL or DOTA2 either.

But if you think THAT is bad, wait for it.

Never played HL1 or 2.

That's right, as a pc gamer, i have never played the games that by the looks of it EVERYONE has played, loved and has some sort of 'best game evaaahhh' reputation.

Well I got bored of Deus Ex after... *opens Steam* 3 hours. Huh. Well there goes the "best PC game ever" I guess.

And dammit, before someone tells me "oh it's good after hour 5! stick wit-" NO! If it's supposed to be so good how could I have dropped it after only 3 hours? Why was I not compelled to play through it in ridiculously long sittings?

Oh and Persona 3 has the WORST possible main character I have ever seen. I even tried to replay it recently and YEP, I STILL AGREE! Ruins the entire game for me personally. You cannot keep the antisocial loner archetype fully alive through a game about love and friendship. No. Bad. Stop it Atlus, you're better than this.

I thought Half-Life 2 had subpar plot, characters, and atmosphere, with the only interesting location being Ravenholm and the only interesting character being the priest from Ravenholm. Great gameplay, but I find everything else to be way overrated.

I never played World of Warcraft despite enjoying the general game style. I also have never played any of the Diablo games regardless of the same oddity.

I have never played Kingdom Hearts, regardless of the fact that I sometimes walk around with a Kingdom Hearts shirt on.

Well, this might not be an incredibly uncommon one, but it does bug me kind of a lot...

My Steam backlog is so goddamn huge, I'm pretty sure it could blot out the sun.

Also, I am a former save-scummer (reformed now, and glad of it).
