I'd have to say the second (i think) boss fight in ARkam Asylum, it wasnt that it was hard, it was just annoying as fuck. Id go up to the guy to jump on him and he'd smack me, the next time i'd just hop right on and get wacked off by one of the thugs.

Such a perfect game to be ruined by ONE FUCKING LEVEL, luckily it was a rental.

Jak II: Renegade... All of it. But it was worth it.
Really? The only parts I hated was the rail-shooter segments in the strip mine and the races.

Well while there are plaenty of levels that have annoyed me the most fresh was Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings on Wii which made you defend a position by controlling a crane with a piano tied to it with the motion sensor. The problem was that if you went only partially diagonal then it didn't move as fast and you would get killed. The stupid thing was that Indy has a fing revolver! Just shoot them. Oh well at least it has Fate of Atlantis as an extra.

Any RPG's that have side bosses which require you to grind like a mofo to be able to withstand it's attacks. Also multiple LONG bosses with no saves in between is always annoying as well. Being forced to use certain party members in parts is a ***** too. Especially when you haven't leveled those party members.

Fighting games in general. The difficulty level in them is always so schizophrenic it's crazy. Also when people spam the same move over and over, thats pretty annoying.

Just the general level of Gameplay on SF4 online when you go from people who dont know how to block to people who don't know how to turn a game off...

The cursed, cursed Star Destroyer level from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, which is unplayable on a 360 controller. UNPLAYABLE.

And, of course, the lovely Cortana level from Halo 3.

There are good games and bad ones but regardless there are always games with certain levels that make you want to scream. For me it was the Mile High Club on COD 4, one minute to defuse a hostage situation that not only was irrelevant to the plot line but neigh impossible to commit.

Are there any other levels in any game that made you mad?
I dont understand why everyone says that level is so hard.. I did it on my 2nd try o_O

OT: Most of the last half of Prototype.. god dammit thats a frustrating game.

Cortana level on Halo 3.

The entire place is brown puss, and everything blends in and it's impossible to know where you're going.

Assasins creed, for the first 3 missions (Ie the first time you go to each city) you are forced to be in the kingdom. Just the horse mechanics and combat made me cry.
Also, in Assassin's Creed where you have to jump on that boat by jumping over stakes of wood coming out of the water. The controls are WAAAYYY too clunky to expect me to do that, and I always fell in the water and died, being forced to watch the interactive cinematic -.-

Oh, one last thing. That one level in Army of Two when you have to destroy those missiles and you're being timed. That made me rage quit.

Any game involving trial and error game play (a sneaky ass move to lengthen gameplay time)

Playing Fallout 3 and forgetting to save for a couple of hours and a deathclaw sneaks up when im out of ammo and stims. I did have a valiant effort with my fists for about 3 seconds.

The last level of Trine. I quit the game after 3 failed attempts, and I don't intend to go back.

Fighting Pennance on FFX 15,000,000 health and 2 regenerating arms that could do a move to kill you in one hit, so you had to be constantly destroying them. 1 and a half hours it took me.

oh that brings back memories. once you maxed your stats (I say once that alone too days)Penance wasn't that hard, he just took so long that you wanted to cry by the end of it.
And if you made a mistake or missed an attack or something... you died. I hate penance

CoD: World at War in Blowtorch and Corkscrew on Veteran. I died more times trying to storm that last level of the fortress than anywhere else. Then after about some 25 deaths or so I finally doubled back from my checkpoint to find smoke grenades. Then it took as many deaths to finally get inside the acursed place, and even more to take it.

Even the beginning was hard for me. I'm so glad to have beat WaW on Vet.

Yea I second that, and try to complete it on Veteran, its impossible. Truly.
