Actually, this is even more extreme. Although it might be sarcasm.Mr.France said:No doubt about it, dude's complete scum and had it coming. I actually think he deserved worse, castration would be suitable I should think.
Then she should have muted him so she couldnt hear his crap.ColdStorage said:MadManZac said:I'm not saying that the guy shouldnt have been banned, of course guys like him should be banned for ruining online play. But its not like she didnt have any control of the situation,ColdStorage said:Thats the thing, why is she getting harassed in the first place?MadManZac said:I'm sorry but thats just how I see it. If you dont want to be harassed while playing online you can mute/block the person or just leave the match, I've done it myself before. Its not like she didnt have a choice but to sit there and take it. And again I completely agree the the guy is a total tool bag who deserves a few smacks across the face, but somebody calling the police and getting SWAT involved is way over reacting to some stupid internet trolling.Spaggiari said:Your attitude is disgusting.MadManZac said:Its entirely the girls fault for not leaving the match or muting the guy. Yes the guy is a complete douche but really she has no excuse or anyone to blame but herself for the messages and the harassment.
Why does she have to quit every game because there's some asshole in the lobby?, no, she bought the game and she abides by the rules of conduct, its her right not to be harassed like that. They don't abide by the rules, hence they get banned.
Have you read the entire story?, she was harassed on PM's which can't be muted.
She was the better person (and still is may I add), she's not the one being a dick to people over Xboxlive, she's trying to play a game, this cannot be said of this DJ idiot.MadManZac said:instead of whining and telling him to shut up she should been the better person and just muted him.
She ignored him, the response was for him and his buddies to get worse.MadManZac said:Trolls act like this because they want reaction from people, ignore them and they go away. I stand by what I said, calling the police and getting SWAT involved is way over reacting to some stupid internet trolling. It doesnt make anyone better then the troll, in fact IMO I think it makes you a lower level then the troll.
Also, what makes you think that she called the SWAT team in?, its not been confirmed who called them in, it wasn't this girl, it was someone else.
Maybe it was WingsofRedemption (the COD video uploader that this DJ guy tried to hack his account), maybe it was The Pro (the XboxLive mod who banned him), maybe it was Stepto (the Microsoft worker who banned the rest of his accounts).
So this guy pissed off a lot of people, not just this one girl, anyone of them could be behind this.

Flashbangs are used when breaching when the enemy has time to prepare. They are not used otherwise simply because they are less lethal rather than non-lethal. They can easily kill or injure people unlucky enough to be present. CS gas is generally used to break up crowds of people rather than preceding a breach attempt as it's effects, while annoying (by which I mean extreme difficulty keeping your eyes open and your lunch down.) do only diminish someone's ability to resist. The Flasbang seeks to momentarily incapacitate though a loud report (120+ dB) and a bright flash. This is not simply the "blindness" games use to mimic the effect but rather tends to result in a very short term overload of the nervous system (i.e. you will not process new sensory information for a brief period while you're body tries to figure out what the hell is going on).AmrasCalmacil said:My first impression: Oh god, what's happened now? Poor bastard.
My reaction upon reading: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Shame he didn't try to resist or anything. Anyone know if he got subjected to flashbangs or something? Pepper spray? CS Gas?
I've been exposed to CS gas (during my days in the ATC) and although it was a tiny dose, it was seriously frigging unpleasant - rather like DJ Kuntybollocks then!AmrasCalmacil said:My first impression: Oh god, what's happened now? Poor bastard.

You're right, it's not on the same level as rape, but it's still pretty cold-hearted/ignorant to blame the woman in a case like this. Even if there are some women that enjoy negative attention, it doesn't make sexual harassment okay, and no one "deserves" to be sexually harassed just because they don't know how to use the ignore function on a game they're playing.scifidownbeat said:Woah woah woah, who said anything about rape? Rape is always the rapist's fault, but you cannot possibly argue that there aren't at least some women who enjoy negative attention (because it's still attention).boholikeu said:Seriously? You're like those people who argue that women who get raped "are basically asking for it if they dress that way".
I personally have never met such a woman on any video game multiplayer platform (which is why I strongly believe this was just a fake situation).
This. It's no wonder us "gamers" aren't taken seriously, and neither should we be until standards of respectable social behaviour improve within our community.MiracleOfSound said:It's pretty disturbing to see the amount of 'likes' and 'LMFAOs' on the video.
I've never really found him entertaining, his stuff is pretty childish; my barometer for Internet humour is simple - how would I react if I'd paid money to see this as a stand-up show? This guy? Yeah, I'd be demanding my money back. All he does is swear and direct disgusting comments at people, there's no art to it at all.scifidownbeat said:Either DJ Keemstar's videos are staged or that girl deserved it if she didn't think of muting him.
The content of DJ's insults are hilarious, I just wish he didn't direct them at (supposedly) unsuspecting women.
