Invisible walls, loading screens, paid DLC and civilians that are weak as fuck and you have to protect them.
or in any game that isnt specifically a racing game. Like every Jak and Daxter game(except the one that actaually was a racing game), and sandbox games where some missions require u to follow and catch someone running around a whole f*cking cityXerosch said:Forced racing sections in Jump & Runs. Let us name all protagonists in those types of games with names that are all variations of Wolverine, to justify everything.Zelurien said:and technically means all player characters are like Wolverine.
You raise a very good point, my friend. And I think I may have to agree. If its there, its probably there for a reason.fletch_talon said:Nothing. Because regardless of your opinion on the feature, I guarantee there are plenty of people who love it, add to that the fact that there are probably just as many people who don't care either way and you have yourself a group of customers large enough for the designers to not give a crap about your opinion.
I like those kind of trophies and achievements. They give me some incentive to play it again.jonnopon3000 said:What he said.Fenolio said:Quick time events.
Pointless Gimmicks because of the hardware. (looking at you DS / Wii ¬_¬)
Plus, achievements designed to make you play again - such as inFamous's good/bad achievements.
If you don't like playing motion controlled consoles (Wii), don't play them. NO ONE ISRomaru said:This and motion controllersEditos said:Multiplayer achievements/trophies, the bane of online gaming.
Personally I never found "Magical Boxes that cure Gunshot Wounds" conveniently scattered around the level to be that much better.Kollega said:Dedicated servers. FLAME ON![HEADING=2]Alright, this joke is bad.[/HEADING]

I'd like to see not complete disappearance, but decrease in "magically regenerating health" systems. Or at least some attempts at justification.
Come on, lighten up, its just for fun. We aren't making any developers cry either. And if enough people did complain about a problem in gaming then developers would change things. We buy their games and they care about our money. If everyone was quiet because "others might like it and no one cares about me" then there would be no progress at all.fletch_talon said:Nothing. I hate Achievements that are online, I'm a busy and cheap person I by games when they are cheap and most likely by them no one plays online (Like Doom or Time Shift), so I could end up missing half or more achievements due to that crap.Elsarild said:acheivements for natural progressing through the game, here I'm thinking Gears of War, an achivement for playing the game i bought? oh, gee, thanks!
