I love the World of Goo soundtrack

I can't really say I have a favourite track, but if I had to pick it would be Tumbler or the actual theme song.

Definetly have to go with the Halo series. The big epic music to go with everything made it that much better.

But if you look back to a little further in time I'd say Ocarina of Time holds a special place to me too.

Devil May Cry has a good setting for the soundtrack but I say Brutal Legend has the best for me. Coming out of the Motorworld garage and suddenly some metal blasting through your speakers is playing? Excellent.

Sonic always has awesome music. Whether it's the catchy 16-bit tunes, the rock music of today, or Unleashed's phenomenal orchestrated music. Outside of Sonic, I think Chrono Trigger has one of the best soundtracks ever. Chrono Cross is good too, but I prefer the music in the first game. It's more memorable for me.

good stuff, chrono trigger/chross has some good stuff for upbeat battles

final fantasy always has some of the best music, that music hypnotizes me into grinding for hours and not ever getting bored, then playing 8 hours straight of the campaign, the battles and boss music is always fucking epic beyond belief

Just crazy, I'm ready to challenge the whole galaxy!

can't agree more, playing that game with this music makes me feel like the biggest badass in the world like i could take on a billion collectors at once

Okami has a really nice soundtrack, very very nice. I really can't say enough good things about Okami...apparently.
But is it the greatest...probably not. What is the greatest? ...Please don't make me answer that...just trying to think about it hurts. There can't be just one. I can't even give you a personal favorite.

It's from Ace Combat 5, and the non-vocal version of this plays in the background during the mission briefings.

Yeah, Silent Hill, especially Silent Hill 2, really did brilliantly at making a scene unsettlingly eerie and generally creeptastic. Awesome stuff.

I liked the Ocarina of Time's sound track, as old as that game is the sound track just doesn't get old. I especial like the Thief's Hideout song.... Spanish guitar!!!
