I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. You gain a certain liking to a game character, then learn later on that they possess a penis. The big reveal could be by a friend, or the game itself once you slowly realize that their tomboyish traits are more than that.
So I'm playing King of Fighters for the first time. I see this character:
Their name is Ash, which I assumed was short for Ashley. I'm liking this character, and after learning their moves, tell my friend about my new skills so I could play them. I tell my friend what I think of Ash, and my friend has this smirk the whole time.
I ask him whats so funny, and he tells me that Ash is a man. DAMMIT! I never played the game with the sound on because I always listened to my own music, but still, funny moment for him, sad moment for me.
