"What do you want?"

The young man at the door, though dressed some what more formally then most students with a suit and tie, but with a Mjölnir badge on his breast pocket, simply adjusted his glasses indifferently to Jacks stares "Charming. I am here on official Mjölnir business" He said as he 'phased' through Jack and entered the room. "Excellent, you are here as well." He young man said upon noticing Jarrah's presence. He found a spot in the middle of the living room where he could look at all three of its occupants.

"For the sake of all our schedules, I shall be brief. As the three of you are keenly aware, the Terrorist attack on the school has, unfortunately thinned our ranks, to add to this, we lost several valuable members who's contributions extended well beyond being 'good in a fight' or 'masters of their craft'. Then there's the matter of the recent cultist activity to contend with." He explained to the trio "Here is where you three would come into play, should you so choose to. We are forming a secondary branch, 'Gungnir'. Gungnir will be tasked with 'off campus', such as rooting out these cultists as example, and you three have been selected to be offered a place Gungnir."

"I'm sorry, i got caught up with something. Moving on, Yes?"

"H-hello" the strawberry haired girl at the door said awkwardly "I'm here on Mjölnir business, can I come in?" she asked a little more timidly then one would think a member of Mjölnir would but Mirabelle let her in she moved over to the entrace to the kitchen, where Sierra now was, poking the 'jello' like pot.

"The hell did you do to ... Oh, hello" Sierra said, noticing the new girl as she turned around.

The girl bowed to both of them "I am Aki Shinsou, 3rd year and member of Mjölnir. I am here because, you Mirabelle and you Sierra, have been select, among others, to be offered entry into a new 'branch' of Mjölnir, which we are calling 'Gungnir'." Aki started. "Due to the Terrorist attack on the school, and the cultist incident the other day local authority's and government have been asking the school to lend it's aid in dealing with these and other outside threats, and you two have both demonstrated skills and ability's that would be of great help to getting Gungnir up and running."

Tomas was going to ask what was Jack problem but before he could their was a knock at the door. Sighing as he would ask him later when the time came. As he was paying attention to Jarrah, he caught the sight of another student coming into the room by phasing through Jack. 'Great, I wonder what it could be this time...' thought Tomas as the student spoke to them with his offer.

Tomas thought about it for a moment. He still needed to train to fight better and to learn to control his dragon side more. He was getting the hang of both but he wouldn't risk it just yet. "I'll join" Tomas spoke up "But I would like to train more before going out on any field work. I think we all should, just so our next fight doesn't end up like our last..."

Jack ? Male Dorm

The ?man? instantly pissed Jack off as soon as words came out of his mouth. ?He says one more thing sarcastic and I?ll...? Jack?s thoughts were interrupted as the student literally phased through him. His first thought was. ?Huh so that?s what that feels like.? The thought was soon followed by a deep desire to see the man?s eyes turn to liquid in his sockets and slowly drip out as he screamed in agony. The man?s voice, the way he held himself, and the first words to come out of his mouth had all pissed him off. Not to mention the fact that he phased through him.

?Calm down.? Jack thought to try and calm himself and keep his dark thoughts in check. ?You?re more in control than this. Get a hold of yourself and at least listen to the man before killing him.? With that Jack let out a calming breathe before turning to the other three beings in the room.

the Terrorist attack on the school has, unfortunately thinned our ranks, to add to this, we lost several valuable members who's contributions extended well beyond being 'good in a fight' or 'masters of their craft'. Then there's the matter of the recent cultist activity to contend with."

Jack got the feeling the ?good in a fight? part was about them but he let it slide for now.

?should you so choose to. We are forming a secondary branch, 'Gungnir'. Gungnir will be tasked with 'off campus', such as rooting out these cultists as example, and you three have been selected to be offered a place Gungnir."

Jack?s ever increasing frown had halted for a moment and actually receded a bit by the end of the man?s proposition. Jack wanted to kill the enemies that planned on harming him sure but what he really wanted was the information they had. Especially on the ?unnatural? one that came to their school. Before he could give a reply however, Jack heard Tomas say.

"I'll join"

Only a split second after Tomas had said that Jack said. ?I?ll join too.? Although more soft than when he usually talked, he was thinking on what would need to be done to prepare himself. Jack figured that he?d join and that the giant of a man would join too. That?d give him some people he at least mildly knew.

"But I would like to train more before going out on any field work. I think we all should, just so our next fight doesn't end up like our last..."

?That is probably the most prudent thing to do.? Jack said as he turned towards the unknown man and said. ?Before we really agree on anything too much however, I?d like to know who you are.?

Mirabelle stared at the girl for a second, not paying attention to her but instead rerunning what Aki had said through her head. She wasn't too sure about joining up, but if her presence truly could help then she wouldn't say no. Still, she found it odd that they were coming to 1st year students, or at least students like her, and asking them to help with threats against the school...

Finally realizing that she had been staring for a bit, she blinked and averted her gaze for a moment, apologizing, before saying anything else. Afterwards she stared speaking again, saying, "Uuuummm...i accept? Yyyeah, i'll join. I don't know why you would need me but if you insist..."

While he had heard rumors about the formation of Gungnir, Jarrah was struck by what the branch actually was, and who it was intending to recruit.

"I'll join"

"I'll join too."

Or rather, who it had successfully recruited. While his dorm-mates were eager at the prospect of kicking the cultist's collective asses, Jarrah remained silent, considering what the young man had said.

"Look, I can understand Mjölnir; we have an entire school of supernatural beings, so it makes sense to have a group that can help protect it, but... isn't this a bit outside our area? Isn't there someone with much more experience than a bunch of college students that can deal with this? I mean fuck, isn't there any sort of paranormal police agency or anything in this country?"

"If such institutions where an option I would not be here. The peace we enjoy is maintained with only old treaty's, and the hollow threat of some of the more ancient among us acting" He said as he pulled a card out of his breast pocket, and gave it a toss, the card flying perfectly to the table. "And most of them could not care less what happens to the younger generations as long as they don't draw the attention of the normal people." He added, the card having directions to where they where to go to a meeting point printed on it. "And you need not worry about being fielded with out training, It will be mandatory for all field operatives to under go training before they are fit to sortie."

"In any event, orientation begins tomorrow after morning classes. You needn't worry about your afternoon classes though, this is official 'Mjölnir' business after, arrangements will be made to allow you to miss those classes with no ill effect on your grades."

Aki reached into her pocket and pulled out a card, which she handed to Mirabelle then looked to Sierra, who was leaning against the counter but hadn't yet answered or said anything since Aki had made her proposal. Sierra was quite clearly thinking on what was being asked of her, weighing the pros and cons. "Sure, why not, sign me up to" Sierra finally said.

"They'll be holding orientations tomorrow after morning classes, so I'll have some one inform the relevant classes you'll be absent." Aki said

"They'll be holding orientations tomorrow after morning classes, so I'll have some one inform the relevant classes you'll be absent."

"Okay then..." Mirabelle said, taking the card and examining it. It looked simple enough, though a map had to be put on the card seemed to be a bit much...then again, some of the others may not have the best memory so maybe putting it on the card was a way to guarantee no one would get lost. Still, they could have just printed off a peice of paper, since it would be much easier to read then. She also didn't notice if it said a specific time they would meet up every day...if they did meet up every day...maybe she should ask about the schedule...

"Um...question: is this an every day meeting or are we meeting up whenever someone decides a meeting should be called? Do we have a schedule yet or is it still being worked on? Do you happen to know who's in charge of the group? ...sorry about the multitude of questions. I'm just curious." She said, starting to feel sheepish about not having asked earlier, though outwardly, her face was the same as always.

While she waited for Aki's response, Miea decided to pick up and fiddle with her rubber-esque pot, if not out of a still existing curiosity, then to relive any tension that her line of questioning had caused (on her end at least. Aki would have to find her own pot).

"You'll be meeting our leader tomorrow, as for the schedule, you'll find that out tomorrow as well." Aki said as Mira started playing the the pliable pot, and giggled a little when it jiggled.

"Anything else about tomorrow we should know?" Sierra asked. "Just be rested and ready" Aki replied before giving the pair a bow "If that is all, I must be off to the next prospect" Sierra gave a bow in return and Aki left for the next on her list of prospects.

Female Dorm room 106

An 'Asian' woman in a very pretty kimono with disfigured, clawed hands and tendrils of some kind peeking out from under her gown stood in the middle of the room, holding a crystal projecting the image a Vulture demon [https://reddysdreams.files.wordpress.com/2012/10/skeksis.jpg] as the female demon, a Succubus named Juliet, gave her report.

He grumbled a little upon hearing about this anti-magic weapon the humans developed though the news his agent was to be recruited for a hunter-killer group like Gungnir was to be left him with a look for 'really ... they want you for that?'. "I'm altering your mission, you are to join Gungnir, and find out what they know about this weapon, and any counter measures they come up with."

Campus Gardens

A young man, casually dressed but with a Mjölnir badge on his belt approached a young Nymph playing a flute in the gardens. He waited till she finished before clapping. "That was a very pretty tune you where playing." he said, before introducing him self as Donavon and explaining to her that he was here to requirt her for a group called Gungnir.

Name:

Lenah Spring.

Race:

Nymph (Water, Forest and Meadow).

Age:

21 years old.

Sex:

Female.

Description:

A beautiful young woman with long, flowing locks of rose-colored hair. She has deep blue eyes, long eyelashes, and full lips. Lenah stands at 5'8", female curves with a small waist, something that she often makes clear with waist-belts. She carries herself with a certain grace, and her clothes can remind people of another time, light-colored and almost weightless, often dresses or tunics with a shirt underneath. They are somewhat revealing, and some of them rather form fitting. The shoes she wears tend to be small, sandals or simple and strapless. Lenah always seems to smell of roses.

Lenah never was a quiet child. Always in a good mood, laughing and playing around. She's clever, but often described as somewhat of an airhead. She loves dancing and singing, and most of the time she can be found listening to music or even playing herself. Lenah takes solace in nature, taking care to respect every part of it, after all, they could very well be the domains of her fellow Nymphs. That said, she doesn't reject technology, and while she's not much of a computer person, she has a certain interest in the kind. She's friendly, but acts on a whim, which means she can surprise people or even get rather upset over something unexpected. Lenah is also rather well aware of her physical beauty, and can and will use it to get out of trouble, as she has somewhat of a mischievous side. She's also always up for a good party.

Powers:

Flower of the Meadow: Lenah's main power is both defensive and offensive. She can make just about any kind of plant, flower or even tree grow, if there is room for it. Her favored kind is the fig tree. This can be used both in order to attack and in order to wrap its branches around her and her allies. In other to enhance her ability, she can use a droplet of her own blood to grow the bloody rose staff, which, due to its sharp edge opposite of the flower, can also be used as a makeshift spear.

The Forest Spring: The pure water of the forest spring can bring energy and hope to those who need it. While it won't heal injuries, it will wash away concerns and fatigue, and vitalize the person who drinks it. She can purify most kind of water; though the cleaner the water is from the start, the better.

Poison Ivy The poison ivy will wrap itself around her enemies and will poison them with numbness and fatigue, as well as paralyze their bodies. She doesn't need to think for them to do that, as they react naturally once activated, moving like snakes. The vines are also thicker and stronger than that of regular ivy.

Skills:

Melody and Harmony: Lenah loves music. She has a beautiful voice, and can play many instruments. She likes playing flutes the most, though, and can spend hours teaching herself new tricks and songs, and even composing.

As if Carried by the Wind: Lenah's movement is swift and light. She has an excellent sense of rhythm and knows how to wield her powers well. The most impressive things, however, would be her ability to dance, and to jump long and far, almost as if she had wings.

Knowledge of Nature: While it certainly is a lesser skill, Lenah knows a lot about nature itself, how the water flows, how the animals behave, and how plants grow. She also has keen senses when in natural environments, and is quite good at tracking. However, cities tend to make that more difficult.

The Beautiful Hunter: A lesser obvious skill she has is hunting itself. She knows and respects the natural order of things, and life and death are a big part of it. Lenah's not too good at being quiet, but when she first has the chance to strike, she will.

Biography:

Lenah's birth and childhood was rather uneventful. She was born of a Water Nymph, raised in the forest, and learned from young age what a protective, but also deadly force the wild could be. She was always a bubbly and eager child, had no clue who her father was, but, seeing as she was born from a Nymph rather than just created, she always figured he had to be something big and impressive. If it was a mere human, she does not know, but she still thinks her father must have been something more than that, due to her powers.

Coming of age was a huge thing for her, because; not only would she would finally become as beautiful as her mother was, but because it meant that she could leave the forest and explore the human world, which was increasingly growing from her perspective. They had a certain lack of nature that she could not understand, however. She lived in a boarding school from she was 14, and learned that there were two sides to the world, that of man and that of the "monsters" neither of which she found herself to fit in. The Nymphs seemed to belong to history, to the past. Even so, she continued to stay friendly, because surely she had so much more to understand.

As her powers grew, she realized that she needed help, not because they were uncontrollable, but because she wanted to reach her full potential, and, perhaps, find out where the other half of them came from. She considers herself to be a Nymph completely, but her thoughts sometimes wander, wondering who her father might be. She came to the university to learn to reach the full potential of her power, as well as learn more about the not so human world itself.

Lenah was enjoying herself in the sunlight. She was content just sitting there, playing her flute, though an audience would be even more fun. Suddenly, someone arrived, waiting for her to finish the current song, clapping when she did. She noted the Mjölnir badge on his belt.

"That was a very pretty tune you were playing."

He said, before introducing himself. With a bright smile, she greeted him.

"Hi Donavon, thanks for the compliment," She said. While Lenah let him finish explaining what she was getting recruited for, Lenah didn't actually care that much. It sounded like it'd be fun, meeting some new people, tracking down bad guys and perhaps using her powers to a fuller extent than usual... yeah, Lenah liked the thought of it. Besides, if they needed her help, then she was eager to help.

"Sure, I'll join your little group, I'd love to help, after all," she replied, with an eager and joyful expression on her face. "What do you need me to do?"

Name: Juliet Lilin

Race: Demon (succubus)

Age: She looks to be her early 20?s, but in reality is much older

Sex: female

Description: Normally standing at 5? 5? with dark eyes and black hair Juliet makes for a stunning, curvaceous figure. Her features mark her as appearing ever so slightly exotic to most, making her seem intriguing. Between her appearance and how she seems to move with a sort of raw sexuality about her she tends to attract wandering gazes with ease. Her expression tends to vary between a bored look and a mischievous smirk, depending on her feelings at the time, and she always seems to have a playful air about her. She tends to wear form fitting clothing that leaves just enough to the imagination.

In truth she is able to alter her form, but the description above is the state she defaults to most often. Her ?true? demonic form looks similar to the default, but sports a small pair of horns on her forehead, bat-like wings, a serpentine tail, small fangs, and catlike claws on the tips of her fingers and toes. When in this form her eyes change color to a dark red almost violet shade.

Skills:

Dark knowledge: While Juliet?s powers are all inherent she still has a surprising amount of knowledge regarding dark magics and demonic politics (which she had to follow rather closely before she was sent to the mortal world). Even in the mortal world this has left her with the ability to quickly determine the power structure of a relationship or organization, and she is well aware of how to con her way around people.

Personable: Even without the use of her powers Juliet is very personable and charismatic, and has little difficulty reading others, gaining their trust, or being persuasive. However she has difficulty seeing others as friends after so long being used to manipulating or using others.

Magic/Abilities

Charm: Juliet?s favorite power is to place a hypnotic influence over people she makes eye contact with, while not truly mind control those who she places under this effect are much more susceptible to her suggestions (which can persist in their mind for hours after she makes them) and generally speaking treat her as though she were a deeply trusted friend. While she can and often does use this power to trick and deceive others there are limits on what she can convince them to do, and the more opposed they would normally be to a suggested action the easier it is for them to resist. The power can?t affect strong willed individuals for long if at all, and while she enjoys using it to get people to do her any number of small favors she avoids using it for anything she considers serious.

Shapeshifting: Juliet is also capable of altering her form, she can make herself look like another person either trying to mimic someone?s appearance or simply redesigning her own, or she can revert to her demonic form or one of several animal forms. The animal forms include a snake, a swarm of bats, and a cat. The snake form can range greatly in size and is often the form she chooses for combat as it can potentially be gigantic and very strong. Her demonic form is also much stronger than her normal form and can fly, and is another form she sometimes uses for combat. Her shapeshifting powers also grant her some degree of regeneration though not usually fast enough to help in combat.

Venom: Juliet is capable of afflicting those she bites or scratches with a potent venom that quickly drains them of strength. She prefers not to do this as she can only manufacture one or two doses of venom a day (the number depending largely on her own energy levels and the size of the target, a larger target requires a larger dose after all).

Biography: As an agent of the Demon King Ansoth?s spymaster Val Ruk Juliet was dispatched to the world of mortals to act as a spy for him, reporting back to him periodically on matters that were of interest to him. However being both easily bored and requiring to feed on mortals via sex Juliet found herself frequently distracted from this goal. She quickly found herself much more entertained by the affairs of mortals, and began involving herself with them in ways that Val Ruk quickly decided were unnecessary, such as starring in a brief adult film. Declaring that she was straying too far from her duties she was given a new task, to infiltrate Gato academy and keep an eye on the reincarnation of an ancient enemy of his.

Juliet agreed to this task, in part because she welcomed changes of scenery and in part because she had no wish to anger the Demon King, and soon found herself enrolled at Gato seeking to get close enough to Sierra to report on her activities and more importantly on the activities of the demonic knight she was the reincarnation of. As usual though she finds herself bored with this single task, and happily seeks to make things more interesting. In fact the university itself is intriguing to her, as it is refreshing after her time in the world of mortals to find a place full of those who are far from normal.

Skype: ian.selinger

"I'm altering your mission, you are to join Gungnir, and find out what they know about this weapon, and any counter measures they come up with."

Juliet sighed and blew some hair out of her eyes "As you wish," she said. Great more work, at least it'll keep things interesting I suppose.

She couldn't help but wonder why they wanted her for 'Gungnir' either, but if the higher ups (or lower downs as the case may be) wanted her to take advantage of the opportunity then she supposed she would have to jump on it. Could be fun I suppose, might depend on who else is conscripted. Then again in this place there aren't any boring people. She found herself licking her lips at the thought of what sorts might be assigned to the outfit, yes this would be interesting.

"If that's all then I'll report back in a week or so," she said, "goodbye."

She waited for the woman to leave before she stood up, checking her reflection in the mirror briefly and making a few slight alterations, then leaving to go accept the offer to join Gungnir.

Tomas nodded once the guy in front of him finished talking. Thinking things over as he lean back on the couch and sigh. Even though he felt like things were going to fast. He just couldn't say no to the job offer. Looking over at his roommates and then back to the student before them.

"Very well. Though I would like to know about some things. How many other students will be part of this 'Gungnir' group." he stated as he added "Besides the girls who help us fight the cultist. If they join that is.."

Knowing for a fact that if they were being offer the job, they should as well. Hoping that they do join up as he would like at least some faces he knew besides his roommates.

Jack- Male Dorm

"If such institutions where an option I would not be here. The peace we enjoy is maintained with only old treaty's, and the hollow threat of some of the more ancient among us acting"

Now that was some interesting information to Jack. Jack had figured that there was some form of controlling group in the ?monster? world. Learning there was no centralized group however was interesting. Oh, he was sure there were secret groups and groups within each monster community. But the fact that they were all split and divided made Jack chuckle, it was quite similar to humans now that he thought about it. A scowl crossed his face as he thought of that. At least humans had the UN, however much it actually did. Of course monsters hadn?t almost blown everything to oblivion with nuclear fire either so there was that.

Jack watched the card land on the table and slowly looked back to the ?man,? Still in deep thought about information just given. Jack thought that they would have learned about that in class but he hadn?t ever learned it. Maybe he had just not been paying attention or it was coming later in the class.

Jack was only half listening as the being went on about how elders didn?t care for younger generations and other mundane things such as mandatory training. ?Gaining the favor of an elder would be quite beneficial to my goals. Though I?d have to be careful, nothing comes without a cost, and they haven?t lived so long because of luck.? Jack thought as he caught the being say.

"In any event, orientation begins tomorrow after morning classes. You needn't worry about your afternoon classes though, this is official 'Mjölnir' business after, arrangements will be made to allow you to miss those classes with no ill effect on your grades."

He glazed over the information storing it for tomorrow morning. He finally paid attention to the conversation again when he heard Tomas say.

"Very well. Though I would like to know about some things. How many other students will be part of this 'Gungnir' group."

An interesting question to say the least, learning even a little about the other members of this Gungnir group would give him an advantage. He then went on to say something about the girls who helped them joining, though he didn?t really care about that. He knew enough about them for now. It then dawned on Jack that he didn?t even know this being?s name.
?If you don?t mind me asking,? Jack started in a calm, emotionless, monotone voice. ?What is your name?? He ended his sentence and any trace of emotion he had shown before was gone replaced by a cold, calculating, and uncaring mask.

"You'll be meeting our leader tomorrow, as for the schedule, you'll find that out tomorrow as well."

"Well...okay then.", Mirabelle said, at a loss for anything more to add. She had hoped to glean more information than that from Aki but it would seem that she wanted to remain tight-lipped with such info...or she didn't know herself. Either way, it was a bit of a letdown...though at least it was one that could be gotten over quickly. Following Sierra's lead, she bowed back to Aki and watched as she left the room, going over and locking the door afterwards.

Turning back to her dormmate, Mira said, "So...that was interesting, i guess, though it feels weird being headhunted for such a group." After a breif pause, she asked, "Want to talk about it? ...Or do you want to try cutting the pot apart?"

"Very well. Though I would like to know about some things. How many other students will be part of this 'Gungnir' group."

"I can not say. We where only sent out to extend the offer, the choice is ultimately yours as to weather or not you wish to take up the sword." he said as he checked his pocket watch. "Though given that things reason for being at our fair school, I would imagine you'll see that half demon and her room mate at orientation. Probably with 'bells on' in the half demons case."

"And you may call me 'Wraith', now if you'll excuse me, I must move along to the next prospect on my list. Good day gentlemen." Wraith said as he faded and vanished from the room.

Gardens

"Sure, I'll join your little group, I'd love to help, after all, What do you need me to do?" The Nymph said with a smile and eagerness to her tone.

"Excellent" Donavon said, as he reached into his coat pocket, pulled out a card and handed it to the Nymph "Orientation is tomorrow, it'll be between morning and afternoon classes but I'm sure there will also be a PA announcement to remind people as well. Other then that, just be ready and rested for tomorrow."

Female Dorm, First Floor

"Do try to keep your impulses under control, for once." The old Vulture demon said before giving the nod to the silent demon woman, who then stowed the crystal away and faded from the human realm back to the demon realm.

Juliet did not have to look long for some one to speak to about accepting the offer, Aki, whom had visited her earlier could be seen walking down the hall, a sheet of paper in her hand, and frown on her face. Aki looked up and brightened a bit when she saw Juliet. "Oh, Hello, have you decided yet?" she asked hopefully, apparently her recruiting wasn't going well. "Or just heading out for a bit?"

Female Dorm, Second Floor

"So...that was interesting, i guess, though it feels weird being headhunted for such a group. Want to talk about it? ...Or do you want to try cutting the pot apart?"

"I was kind of expecting it actually, what with what happened to Mjölnir and with those cultist, it's not really surprising we'd be on the short list for a new wave of recruitment's. What with us displaying a willingness to fight and all." Sierra said as she flopped back down on the couch "Forming a new group though? Didn't see that coming." Sierra said before remembering the pot "And what did you do to the pot to make it all Jello-y"

Tomas nodded once Wraith finished talking with them. Watching him leave them to their thoughts. Musing to himself Tomas didn't know what to do for now. Getting up form the couch as he head for the door. "Going out for a bit. I'll be back later if you need me." Leaving the others before they could say something. He didn't feel like chatting with them at the moment.

Walking the halls as he let his mind wonder. Paying little attention to the other students besides moving out of the way if they were blocking his. Not really caring about what they were saying about him as some whisper to themselves.

Lenah brushed some strands of her long hair away from her shoulder, as she listened. She studied the card in her hand, this sounded like it could be quite the adventure.

"Got it," she told Donavon, then laughed. "I'll be ready, but if there's a decent party somewhere, I might not be as rested as you'd like," she teased, as she twirled the card, before putting it in her small bag. As she did, she winked, playfully.

"If that's all, dear Donavon, you can go. I got the message. Or, if you'd like to, you can stick around, and tell me a little more about just how Mjölnir works. Or simply be my audience, it is up to you."

Lenah sat back down as she waited for a reply, reaching for her guitar, and started fiddling with it, plucking the strings and playing a soft melody, as she started thinking about this.

I do hope there's a chance for me to utilize my powers to their fullest.

It was, after all, something she wondered about. Sure, she could make a tree grow, she could purify water and make it into an almost sweet energizer with a comforting effect, and there was the poison ivy... but how far could she take it? She seldom felt very challenged, hopefully this would be different.

I wonder who's going, though.

Lenah had some friends, but several of them were rather docile and fragile people, artists and the likes. She couldn't imagine them taking on cultists. The rest would likely not be there either, they were the kind of people -or rather, monsters- that spent most of the time doing anything but studying.

Well, who needs them anyways?

That was why she liked meeting new people, after all. Rather than looking for one person with the same interests as her, she could find people with a common interest and they could hang out when they felt like it. Her eyes went to Donavon, examining the other, trying to find out as much as she could from his appearance alone.

"Do try to keep your impulses under control, for once."

"Please," Juliet said once the woman had faded away "I'll do whatever the fuck I want, or whoever for that matter. Won't stop me from completing the mission either, bastard."

I mean really, what is the point of being in the mortal realm if I can't have some fun with it? Although... I suppose I should be a little careful, don't need to get reassigned again after all. Still it wasn't like she needed to be reminded of that all the time. She exited her room into the hall and quickly found Aki who was also wandering the hall.

"Or just heading out for a bit?"

"I came looking for you," she said happily "I've made up my mind, I can't sit back and do nothing so I'm signing on. Besides seems like it could be fun."

I bet that just made her day, sad girl. Seems her recruiting probably isn't going well, which means fewer people on the team for me to deal with. Could make things easier, could leave me with fewer opportunities, hopefully none of them are boring.

"I hope I'm not the only one who feels that way," she said to Aki, taking on a concerned tone "has anyone else joined up yet? I'd love to meet the rest of the team."

I know we'll really get started tomorrow, but it never hurts to get a head start on making an impression.

Jack ? Dorm Room/Hall

Seeing as how the man didn?t know who would be joining them other than the obvious, Jack began tuning out the rest of the conversation. Focusing on sensing anyone nearby, Jack was barely paying attention. However, his focus was brought back to the conversation when the man said.

"And you may call me 'Wraith', now if you'll excuse me, I must move along to the next prospect on my list. Good day gentlemen."

?Wraith.? The Scottish word for ghost, also a supernatural typically malevolent force in most stories.? Jack thought as he watched Wraith leave. ?The powers he used would point to that anyways.? Jack finished his thought as Tomas said.

"Going out for a bit. I'll be back later if you need me."

Jack grunted his approval and turned to Jarrah as Tomas left. Jack didn?t hate Tomas for anything he had done to him. It was what Tomas was that annoyed him. He was the goody two shoes, and while he may not have been trying to, Tomas came off a bit prideful to Jack. ?I?ll be leaving too.? Jack said as he made his way to the door and went in the opposite direction of Tomas, looking for anything that could keep him entertained, sensing out and around him for anything interesting.

"I was kind of expecting it actually, what with what happened to Mjölnir and with those cultist, it's not really surprising we'd be on the short list for a new wave of recruitment's. What with us displaying a willingness to fight and all. Forming a new group though? Didn't see that coming."

"Well, when you put it like that, it makes more sense i guess." Mira said, moving and standing near the couch, prefering to stand though raher than take a seat. "I guess even forming a new group makes some sense if you take into consideration the idea that they can't just change Mjölnir to fit this task. Maybe they have to form a new group because too many of them have abilities that would make them an easy target for Regalia or maybe it's just quicker to create a new group than it would be to adapt Mjölnir to the task. Either way, i guess they just felt like it was a good idea under the circumstances..."

"And what did you do to the pot to make it all Jello-y?"

"Uh...to be honest, I'm not sure. I was testing out a recipe to strengthen metal, something my father wrote down, but i had to substitute some ingredients and...well, this." Mirabelle said before pinching the pot and pulling it, stretching it like taffy until it decided that it couldn't be stretched anymore and snapped back. "I'll have to figure out what changes i made to the recipe did this, though i wonder if we can find any use from this mistake...outside of a distraction i mean."

The truth of the lack of any centralized supernatural controlling body was surprising to Jarrah, as was the news that the only thing that kept the peace was treaties penned before his grandparents were even taking their first steps and the threat of mutually assured destruction. With everything in perspective, Jarrah suddenly realized how normal humans living in 'cold war' would have felt, living in fear of an unsteady peace between colossal power suddenly coming to an end.

That thought also made him realize that he would miss his 'Human History' class while at the Gungnir meeting, and the colossal yowie swore to himself.

It was at this point that the young man introduced himself as... 'Wraith'. It took all of Jarrah's strenght to suppress a snicker, at least until Wraith had left the room. Before he could voice his amusement, he noticed Tomas stand and move towards the door.

"Going out for a bit. I'll be back later if you need me."

"Ok, by-"

"I'll be leaving too."

And like that, Jack was gone as well. Jarrah sighed and leaned down to pick the card up off the table, playing the small square of cardboard between his fingers.

"Fuck it."

Slipping the card into his pocket, Jarrah too left the room and wandered off to do some rounds of the campus, one of his many responsibilities as a proud member of Mjölnir. First stop; the campus gardens. Hopefully the fresh air could clear his head.
