Female Dorm, First Floor Main Hall

Aki did indeed brighten up when Juliet said she'd be joining up. "That's good to hear, since you already have the card and I already told you the time, I won't go over that again." Aki said as she put the sheet of paper in her pocket.

"has anyone else joined up yet? I'd love to meet the rest of the team."

"Oh yes, several, I just had the last two slam the door in my face is all." Aki replied "Jerks. But if you wanna meet some of them you can head up to room 241, both of them joined and one is a half demon so you'll hopefully have something to talk about" Aki said, then pause with an 'oh right' look on her face "Assuming that is that you two demon races don't hate each-other, I'd prefer it if you didn't try to kill each-other" she said as she pulled the sheet back out and looked to confirm Sierra 'race' for Juliet "Huh ... that's funny, thought it said what she is on here ..."

Female Dorm room 241

Sierra poked the poke, then pushed her fist into it and snickered "Ah science, even when you fail your interesting" she paused a moment "Maybe more so then when it succeeds." While Sierra thought about what the uses for this 'rubbery metal' could be, she decided to address the matter of Gungnir. "Yeah I suppose it would be easier to make a new group with a diffrent mission statement and train new people to that standard rather then retrain and condition existing members, ether way, should be interesting." she said as she got this look of 'oh!' on her face "One sec, I got an idea what you can do with this stuff" Sierra said, as she handed the pot back to Mira and headed for her room to get something.

Donavon checked his list, then his watch "I got time, I can listen to a few songs before I need to report back in. Besides, from the sound of things Mjölnir and Gungnir aren't gonna operate the same way so I can't tell you much." he said as he packed him self on a bench to get ready to listen to more of Lenah's playing.

Though after a few moments Donavon noticed some one approaching, likely drawn by the music and gave them a casual wave hello.

Juliet nodded sympathetically as Aki explained her difficulties. It's not surprising, you aren't exactly providing any incentive for them to join, hell I bet if I went out collecting recruits I'd have at least fifty by now.

"Jerks. But if you wanna meet some of them you can head up to room 241, both of them joined and one is a half demon so you'll hopefully have something to talk about"

Half demon? Could that be... well that would be too lucky. If Karis's vessel is on Gungnir then I could fulfill my previous objective at the same time as my new one! Course Val Ruk would probably act smug about it all falling into his plan but who cared, it was still an opportunity and even he would have to be impressed with her managing two missions at once. Now them knowing that I'm a demon could make things problematic, though I doubt the school has gone around telling everyone so I can probably hide it for now.

"Assuming that is that you two demon races don't hate each-other, I'd prefer it if you didn't try to kill each-other. Huh ... that's funny, thought it said what she is on here ..."

"Don't worry, you know me I can get along with anyone," Juliet said "But I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell them what I am, my people don't exactly have the best reputation y'know? It'd just make things easier if everyone didn't know."

She smiled sweetly at Aki then turned to head towards room 241 "It's been great talking to you," she said "but I think i'll go meet them now, bye!"

She walked with a bit of a skip in her step to room 241, meeting new people always was a delight after all. She wondered if these people knew each other, it seemed more than likely to her after all someone you knew joining was extra incentive to join. If Karis's vessel, what was her name again? Sierra that was it. If she was there then she would have to be extra careful, but that was also an opportunity.

She found the room locked, much to her annoyance, but put on a cheerful expression and knocked at the door.

"Hello?" she said, twirling some of her hair with one finger "I heard this was where some of the Gungnir recruits were meeting, I just signed up myself and thought I'd come introduce myself."

"One sec, I got an idea what you can do with this stuff."

"Uh...ok?" Mirabelle said, confused as to what Sierra may have in mind for the pot. She surmised that it must be good, or at least interesting to her dormmate what with the speed she used in shoving the pot in her hand and heading off to her room.

"Um...can i ask what-"

"Hello? I heard this was where some of the Gungnir recruits were meeting, I just signed up myself and thought I'd come introduce myself."

Mirabelle turned to the door, confused as to how their dormroom had now become a meeting spot for new recruits. She felt herself wondering if she had somehow pissed Aki off and this was her revenge, or if it was something else entirely. Still, it would be rude to keep this new girl waiting. Heading off for the door, Mira said, "Don't worry, i'll get it. Coming!", before she opened the door, laying her eyes on Juliet for the first time.

Mirabelle got her hopes up, thinking for a moment that, with the girls black hair and dark eyes, that it was either Alicia or Kaylee, having returned for whatever reason (she didn't care, just so long as they were back). Alas, noticing that the girl was playing with her hair, as well as noting that she was more curvaceous than either, she quickly and sadly came to the realization that it wasn't either of them, but someone else entirely. Of course she didn't visually reveal her disappointment, keeping it in the curious state that it was in when Sierra went to her room, and said, "Hello. So your apart of Gungnir too? Well...my name is Mirabelle, come on in."

"I got time, I can listen to a few songs before I need to report back in. Besides, from the sound of things Mjölnir and Gungnir aren't gonna operate the same way so I can't tell you much."

Lenah grinned, though it was a pretty grin, barely showing her teeth, her cheeks coloured rosy red.

"That's wonderful," she said, as she closed her eyes and started playing a rather beautiful melody. After a couple of strings had been plucked, she started singing a song about bees and honey, and about the sweetness of love. It was a song she had written herself, not too long ago. She opened one of her eyes during an interlude between verses to see if Donavon was listening, only to notice that someone else was there now. A tall, red-haired fellow.

I've seen him around before.

She thought to herself. It was hard missing someone that big. Besides, Lenah had an eye for details.

I don't think I know his name, though.

Not yet, anyways.

"Hello there," she greeted him, the music not stopping as she examined him, deep blue eyes meeting his for more than a brief moment.

"Would you like to listen as well? My name is Lenah, by the way, Lenah Spring. Please, take a seat, it's lovely to meet you."

"Hello. So your apart of Gungnir too? Well...my name is Mirabelle, come on in."

Juliet was greeted by an athletic looking red haired girl, not Karis's vessel, though not uninteresting as Juliet noticed that the girl's mouth seemed to move a bit strangely when she spoke. Not sure what to make of that, a disguise maybe? She smiled as she greeted the girl.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Juliet," she said, stepping into the room "I'm not interrupting anything am I?"

She took a moment to look around the room, as far as she saw Mirabelle was the only one here. At least right now, could be others coming. This girl doesn't seem demonic but its never easy to tell. At least she's cute enough in a sporty sort of way, wonder how she'd taste... Juliet had to stop herself from licking her lips, the girl didn't exactly seem intrigued by her appearance so trying that sort of approach would probably be a wasted effort. Besides more Gungnir recruits might be coming soon, it could be best to meet the whole group before she picked out a meal.

"Is there anyone else here?" Juliet asked "no offense or anything, just Aki made it sound like there were a few people she'd gotten to join."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Juliet, I'm not interrupting anything am I?"

"Uh, i'm not exactly sure yet...though you're welcome to stay and find out." Mirabelle said as Juliet came in, messing with the jelly pot and wondering just when Sierra was going to bring out her suprise. Turning her attention back to the woman she had just invited in, Mirabelle noticed that she was giving a quick scan of their room. Letting her finish (after all, what was the harm?), she was about to start in on what she and her friend were doing when Juliet started talking again.

"Is there anyone else here? No offense or anything, just Aki made it sound like there were a few people she'd gotten to join."

"Uh well, my friend is here but besides her there's no one else from Gungnir...um, can i ask you something? Aki didn't make this a meeting place without telling us, did she?" Mirabelle asked, genuinely curious due to how Juliet worded her question.

"I must not have written it down" Sierra said as she came out of her room "I guess I'll ... who's this?" she asked upon seeing Juliet, though moved toward her Eatherical Equations note book, and started penning the enchantment she had in mind down while she waited for the answer of who's at the door.

Almost as soon as he set foot in the gardens, Jarrah felt at ease, all his worries about Mjölnir and Gungnir washing away as he walked the leaf covered path before him. Without even realizing it his feet lead him deeper into the campus's gardens, before coming to a somewhat secluded grove, currently inhabited by two people, one wearing a Mjölnir uniform like himself and the other, a woman, playing a soft melody on her guitar. The moment she stopped singing, Jarrah seemed to snap out of his daze and, thinking he had just interrupted the pair, he was about to excuse himself when the woman spoke.

"Hello there. She said, her fingers never leaving the guitar's strings as she greeted him, "Would you like to listen as well? My name is Lenah, by the way, Lenah Spring. Please, take a seat, it's lovely to meet you."

"Oh, well if I'm not intruding..." The mountain of a (not quite a) man started as he took a few steps forward and sat opposite the two. "I'm Jarrah Walker. It's nice to meet you too Lenah. You're pretty good at the guitar, have you been playing long? If, you don't mind me asking that is."

"Uh well, my friend is here but besides her there's no one else from Gungnir...um, can i ask you something? Aki didn't make this a meeting place without telling us, did she?"

"Oh no, she just said I could find some of the other recruits here," Juliet said "I figured it'd be nice to get to know some of you before we start really working together."

"I guess I'll ... who's this?"

Well well, Karis's vessel is here. Perfect! She kept her expression from showing her delight as best she could, Sierra was the vessel's name right? Yes, that was it. This couldn't be going better if she had planned it.

"I'm Juliet," she said "I was just stopping by to say hi to some fellow Gungnir recruits, what's your name?"

Tomas stop at a water fountain to get a quick drink. While doing so, he heard a conversation going on beside him. While he wasn't tring to eve's drop, he couldn't help it as he heard someone talking about the incident with his roommates.

"So dude did you hear about what happen at that karaoke place?"

"Only bits and pieces...whats up about that?"

"Some fucked up cultist attack the place. Word is that they were trying to summon a demon or something. Pretty fucked up."

"Sounds like it...what stopped them?"

"Not too sure myself...Only putting everything together I kept hearing around the school..if I hear any more I'll let you know."

They started to walk off as Tomas sigh. Wondering what his classmates would think of him and his roommates if word got around. He really didn't want the attention for just doing something right. Once he was finished with getting a drink, Tomas headed for the door. Wanting some fresh air and place to think himself. Wondering around to find a quiet spot to sit down.

"I must not have written it down.

Mirabelle was a little interested to find out that whatever thing Sierra had in mind wasn't physical, instead being some written peice of information. Still, it wasn't worth much if she didn't actually know what it was...plus, she doubted she'd understand what it was anyways if it was an enchantment recipe like she thought.

I guess I'll ... who's this?"

"Oh, um...", she said, getting back around to their new guest. Luckily Juliet introduced herself and started talking to Sierra herself, leaving Mira to pay attention to her pot again. She was happy to mess about by herself while they conversed, especially since it allowed her to learn more and become more comfortable with Juliet without having to make awkward conversation with her or potentially piss her off. She would probably still have to explain what she was to her, but she hoped that that question would be a little ways off...and that Juliet wouldn't fall out the window when that happened.

"I'm Juliet, I was just stopping by to say hi to some fellow Gungnir recruits, what's your name?"

"Sierra." She said as she walked over to Juliet note book in hand, giving the new person a look up and down. "You must be the Succubus from the first floor." Sierra said after a moment. "Well come on in, have a seat, Mirabelle and I where just discussing Gungnir, as well as the virtues of 'jello-metal', as I'm totally gonna call it even if Mira comes up with a less stupid name." Motioning Juliet to enter. Truthfully, she didn't trust Juliet, but then she didn't trust any demon, not even Birres, completely.

"Oh, well if I'm not intruding..."

Lenah shook her head. "Of course you're not. That's the thing about music," she started, and met his eyes as soon as he sat down. "It only grows into something truly beautiful when it has an audience."

"I'm Jarrah Walker. It's nice to meet you too Lenah. You're pretty good at the guitar, have you been playing long? If, you don't mind me asking that is."

"It feels like forever," she said. The music was giving off a relaxing feeling, enough to make almost anyone feel light-headed and mesmerised at the same time.

"But I've been playing for about 10 years. I'm better with the flute, but playing it makes it rather difficult to talk, and I like talking. How about you guys, do you play any instruments? Or are you more listeners?"

"You must be the Succubus from the first floor."

"Ah so you can tell," Juliet said trying to look somewhat ashamed, well there goes the hope of being unnoticed, ah well can't be helped, "I don't normally tell most people, they get an understandable mistrust of me once they know I'm a demon."

"Well come on in, have a seat, Mirabelle and I where just discussing Gungnir, as well as the virtues of 'jello-metal', as I'm totally gonna call it even if Mira comes up with a less stupid name."

She nodded and did so, at least Sierra was cordial for now, though she could tell that she wasn't about to trust her. Though honestly she would have expected that even if Sierra couldn't tell she was a demon. Karis's vessel would have to be cautious after all, though it made her a more challenging target. Not to mention a tasty looking one, Karis has to add his own flavor to the mix, makes me want to just strip her down here and now, run my fingers and tongue over... ah I'm getting distracted. She knows what I am and she's suspicious, I'll need to earn her trust before I can make a move, especially a move like that.

"Flexi-steel maybe? For a name that is," she said, looking at the strange creation "I wonder how well armor made out of it would work, could make something as flexible as clothing but more protective."

She looked back up at them "So what made you two join up?" she asked. Hopefully that answer also tells me how you know each other...

"In it's current state? I'd wager not well, it's to pliable as is, or maybe the pot is to thin. Ether way it needs to be studied a bit first." Sierra said switching to that 'and now, I'm a do magic science' mode Mirabelle had seen her go into several times now she was even working on writing down some complex equation for an enchantment of some kind, likely the one relating to what she was gonna get for Mirabelle.

"As for why I decided to join Gungnir, it's that, or sit around with my thumb up my ass, besides." Sierra started "That Terrorist attack has, in a round about [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Tdu4uKSZ3M] way, caused us to lose some friends." Sierra expression changed to one Juliet would have likely seem from other demons many times, that grin at the though of the pain and suffering they are going to inflict, and enjoy. "I will enjoy their screams of agony as I tear their souls from its mornings."

"Uh...i haven't actually thought of a name yet since I've been more focused on testing the properties of our pot than giving it a name. Plus, we Delgado's are not known for our naming abilities...", she said, giving off a look of slight embarrassment (sans blush).

"Flexi-steel maybe? For a name that is. I wonder how well armor made out of it would work, could make something as flexible as clothing but more protective."

"Well...that could work for a name though i don't think we're at the level of using it as armor yet."

"In it's current state? I'd wager not well, it's to pliable as is, or maybe the pot is to thin. Either way it needs to be studied a bit first."

"Yeah, that seems to be the main problem. Like Sierra said, we're still testing it but so far i haven't found a point where the amount of kinetic energy applied would cause the metal to harden and absorb the impact without transfering a good deal of that energy into the body of the person wearing it. Without that point, this development would be less than useless as it wouldn't be able to stop enough kinetic energy to prevent internal fracturing and bleeding. Of course, this would be expected of a blunt instrument, due to their infamous ability to injure those in full armor precisely due to the kinetic energy problem, but even a bladed instrument would be able to cause sufficient damage, especially if they were to be used for a thrusting or chopping attack...though i doubt the blade would actually be able to penetrate the armor. Of course, we shouldn't rule out the idea of using it to make armor, since this came about in an accident, making it highly unlikely that anything completely useful would automatically come out of it. If i experiment with the process, i think i stand a good chance of lowering any solidifying point this has in order to make it useful, and if that isn't enough or doesn't work, we can always look into any enchantments that could solidify it. It should be easy enough to experiment with too, all i need to do is first isolate what ingredients are causing such a reaction then recreate the solution at the point where it's just starting to cause the "Jelloing" effect, then slowly increase the variables causing the effect until i get to a state where it's bendable like this but rigid enough to take an impact and absorb at least half of the energy involved so as to reduce major injury. Also i should locate the ingredients for my father's metal strengthening recipe and see if that helps along with testing out any variables that i come across that run counter to my goals in recreating the solution and test to see what happens when i dip the Flexi-steel into that..." At this point, it was becoming incredibly obvious that she was just talking to herself, organizing what she had to do and what she could do with her limited knowledge of Alchemy. She didn't come out of it until Juliet started speaking again.

"So what made you two join up?"

"¿Que? Oh. OH! Sorry, i got lost in my thoughts. As for Gungnir...well, apparently they needed the help so i joined up. It's not like i had much more important stuff to do, i'm sure i could study Alchemy and work in Gungnir at the same time."

Juliet listened with interest to the two explaining their reasons for joining, making special note of Sierra's viscous look as she spoke of enacting her vengeance. Karis is certainly not without influence on her, good, if she reacts so strongly that should make it easy to manipulate her through her anger. Though I suppose I'd best have something heavy to hide behind if I go that route. Mirabelle had much more tame reasons for joining, at least more tame stated reasons, Juliet felt sure that couldn't be all there was to it.

"I see," she said "you two clearly know each other, do you know anyone else you think might join? If its just the three of us we might have some trouble."

She thought for a moment, so many questions, so few of which are appropriate to ask... I'll save asking what everyone is for the official meeting, that way we won't have to go through it twice. You know this room is feeling rather dull, I wonder if anywhere else on campus is more interesting...

"Say I don't suppose either of you know of any good scenes right now?" she said "I don't know about you but events lately have me a little on edge, and its easier to talk when you're someplace more fun."

She smiled as she spoke, seeming very relaxed in both her voice and posture.

"Last time we went out, our two room mates who left as well as Mirabelle had to fight off a bunch of Blood Mages, and I had to fight a two story tall demon alone in Limbo." Sierra said matter of factually "Mind you, we went out to get drunk, and make asses of our selves at a karaoke bar."

"Nothing like some asshole, or assholes in this case, you'd rather not deal with to ruin your fun eh? Anyway, since we're staring down more of that soon, I'm inclined to just stay in and finished my assignment for my enchanting class." Sierra said, then looked at Juliet for a moment with this odd, possibly conflicted look in her eyes. "Your free to stay though."

---- Next Day ----

"Will all Gungnir candidates please make your way to your appointed meeting site" The PA system of the school announced, in an intentionally vague manner.

The meeting site, or rather, the door to it, was the entrance of one of the seldom used small offices class counsels used from time to time. Inside however was much roomier, as the door linked the school to what looked to be a warehouse some where off campus, and while decorated, it was clear it was a last minute change. The decorations the selves where mostly banners, dark purple backing with a black lance with gold detailing pointing down on them. A few tables with Gungnir officers where also about. Two of these officer where on hand at the entrance to take down the names of who actually showed up, after which they where directed to just sit tight till the meeting began.

After checking in Sierra found an old create and parked self on that while she waited, occupying her self with the note book she used for her enchanting studies.

"Yea I'm more of a listener myself. You know how people who can't dance have two left feet? I have two left hands." Jarrah said jokingly. He didn't know what it was, but despite having one of the better night's sleep he'd had in ages, Jarrah felt himself grow tired as he felt more and more relaxed.

Somewhere in the distance, a bell rang, and Jarrah realized that he a class to get to. Slowly, the yowie climbed to his feet, dusting off his pants in the process. "I'd like to say, but I've got classes. I guess I'll see you around then, maybe?"

[HEADING=3]~~~Hours in the future, but not many~~~[/HEADING]

"Will all Gungnir candidates please make your way to your appointed meeting site"

Mostly owing to the fact he had a class not that far away from the entrance of the meeting site, Jarrah was one of the first to arrive. Despite there being no shortage of rooms in Gato that were bigger on the inside, the momentary step into a larger warehouse when he had been expecting a smaller office still threw Jarrah, and as he was marked off by one of the two Gungnir officers at the door, he sat down at one of the free tables.

"Will all Gungnir candidates please make your way to your appointed meeting site"

Tomas heard over the loud speaker, already changing his course to head for the appointed meeting. He been waiting for this since yesterday. Normally he wouldn't be nervous, but for some reason this was. He didn't know why fully himself. Though he had a few ideas, the top of it was, he didn't think he was fully ready.

It was one thing to talk about doing the right thing, and doing this job. It was quite another to be on the front lines and actually doing them. Though he wouldn't back down now, or ever. He will make his family proud and be a protector of the weak. Stopping at the door as he look at the two officers. Nodding at them as he was marked off by one and he walk inside.

His eyes scan the room as he seen how quickly this place was redone for this meeting. Though he'll keep that thought to himself as he seen Jarrah already sitting down at one of the tables. Making his way over as he sat down beside him. "Morning.." He said as he saw the another member across from them. Nodding in acknowledgement as he remembers her from the cultist fight.
