"Right, I might not make that. No offence, but I haven't exactly gotten a lot of sleep since I left the US, which was two days ago. Had to drop everything I was doing to come over here. Also... I'm aware of that I behaved like an amateur, and I can't excuse my lack of knowledge when it comes to these kinds of operations, and radio protocol and all that. I'll make sure to read up on that for the next mission. If you have some sort of handy sheet, that'd make it easier, but yeah. Will definitely do better in that department next time."

?Alright, get some rest.? He replied. ?But try and make it, everyone?s input is valuable. As for the other stuff, I need to get used to the fact that none of you have the training I?m used to working with?but, thank you.?

Next Day

Given the fact that as a vampire, he needed hardly any sleep, Viktor spent most of the night unloading the van of everything they?d gotten before calling his contact and retuning it to where it came from. After finishing that, he took a couple of hours to nap, before raiding the cafeteria for breakfast. Returning to the Gungir buildings common room, he was a bit disappointed to see only Sierra and Solomon. Not just because of his dislike of the half-demon, but because they were the only two there. They laze about much longer, I?m going to find an ice machine and do some rounds? Dropping into a seat, he sat quietly for a moment sipping a coffee, and trying not to laugh at the overwhelming smell of sex wafting off of Solomon.

As hi finished his coffee, a thought came to mind. Ask her. Yeah right? Get over yourself and ASK! You might not like each other, but you still need to work together? Sighing as he lost that argument with himself, he forced himself up and approached Sierra. ?Morning,? He said, doing his best to set aside his biases. ?Do you have any experience with ammo enchanting?? Reaching into his coat, he pulled out a slug shell like the ones he?d used last night. ?When I was looking into Gungir, I was given the impression there?d be little fighting, so these ?all-rounder? shells lack punch, even with their magnum load.?

Sierra took the slug and listened to Viktor's request. "Depends on what you want it to do. Cause if you want a .22 to hit with the force of 125mm tank cannon, your in luck, I've finally got the math done for that enchant, still needs testing to make sure it works, though." Sierra said, legs crosses, arm on the back of the couch and pointing the tip of the slug at Viktor.

"If you want elemental effects, fire, ice and what not. I'm not a fan of it, but I got the manuals for it now so I can infuse them with that. Just don't ask for for the 'Abyssal' energy's I use. Your not getting it. That stuff is dangerous to me, the source of said energy, so can't imagine what they'd do to you or some one else." Sierra was a little surprised Viktor would even ask her such a thing, but, for the time being, she had to work with him, so no sense starting a fight with out just cause.

"And go take a shower, pretty sure we got time since it's just the three of us so far" she rather sharpy directed at Sol.

Jarrah spent the entire ride back in silence, trying to avoid the glances the captive cultist kept giving him as Sol grilled him for information. He had hoped that they would spare him, after all they couldn't do a comprehensive interrogation in the back of a van in the time it took them to get back to the school, but as the van ground to a halt and Viktor dragged the captive out, he accepted the grim reality of the situation.

Back at Gato, Jarrah quickly stripped of his mission gear as Viktor told them to get some "rack time", as he put it. Technically, students weren't supposed to around the campus in their 'true forms' but Jarrah couldn't care less as he made his way to the dorms and collapsed in bed.

Sleep didn't come to him easily, and when it finally did it felt like mere moments before his alarm woke him and the morning sun dragged him out of bed.

After a lengthy shower, Jarrah emerged into the common room in a hastily thrown on shirt and shorts ensemble, and immediately wrinkled his nose as the evidence of Solomon's activities last night hit him like a wall, and not for the first time he found himself comparing the Hunter to Isaac.

'At least he had the decency to wash up of a morning.' He thought, taking a seat.

Apparently neither Sierra, nor Viktor was having a pleasant morning, as there was no "good morning"

"And go take a shower, pretty sure we got time since it's just the three of us so far"

"Good morning to you too, sweetie," Sol replied as pleasantly as ever, before chuckling. Apparently he smelled worse than he thought. "I've just not had access to a shower before---"

Jarrah entered, and Sol trailed off, though when he saw the Yowie's wrinkled nose, he sighed. "Yes, yes, I'm going already, you don't need to go all bossy on me. The guy that so kindly let me borrow his bed didn't want his "bros" to know, so I figured I'd use the shower here, after this important meeting. But, if it's really that much of a distraction, I'll be nice and take a quick shower for you." Sol continued, sticking his tongue out as he left his coat in the chair so that no one else would sit there.

I suppose they're fine with me borrowing the shower, then.

Then he walked over to his stuff, picked out some clothes, a towel and some shampoo and soap. He then ended up taking his toothbrush and his razors as well with the accompanying tubes and creams. With a wave goodbye, he left for the shower, made sure to get rid of any hair and excess soap -if it even was soap- before stepping inside. Sol had to admit that it felt good showering, he never had been fond of getting too dirty, even when he had been homeless for two years as as a teenager he had tried to keep a certain level of hygiene.

Five minutes later, he dumped his dirty clothes on top of his bag, and walked back in, taking his seat again, smiling pleasantly. As long as you didn't waste time, 5 minutes was more than enough to get yourself clean. Clean shaven, with his hair pushed back -it took less time to dry that way- he examined the others, amused. He appeared trustworthy and orderly, strange for someone who had looked like a rogue earlier, the only thing currently reminding them of that was his eyes. However, his tone betrayed his current looks.

"Better now?" he then asked, leaning forward. "So, I assume you started without me, right? What's the topic?"

"Juliet, I want a mission report on my desk with in the hour, as for the rest of you, rest up if need be, other wise your time is yours."

And with that, the spirit called Kirin and Seth left. Mirabelle noted that Kirin didn't seemed to pleased about Seth even being there...a lot of that going around. She really had to start wondering just what he did, or possibly is still doing, to make everyone hate him.

"Well we can celebrate in the dorm then, though I've got to get this report together first, and we should probably wait until the other team leaves, so how about we all meet to celebrate once they've headed out?"

"Huh?" Mira said, breaking out of her wonderings and coming back to reality. It would seem that they had moved back to the party conversation but the answer as to when and why eluded her. Nonetheless, she decided to add herself back into it, saying, "Alright, i think i will join you all if that's the case." While she knew she should just not attend and instead get to work on analyzing the bullets, she also knew that it would be no good to just jump in without an idea of where she should start. Besides, this way she would be able to get to know more about her fellow group members...and, it gave her a reason to hang out around the commons to give Sierra one of the bullets.

-The next day-

While she didn't need to sleep, mirabelle enjoyed doing so from time to time, and thus, this morning, she got up out of bed and changed clothes. She generally found sleep to be a relaxing experience, and though she had no idea if she had dreams in the same vein as normal humans, she did receive images and scenarios that could be considered a form of such. Of course, eventually you have to wake up and return to reality again.

She hadn't been able to give Sierra that bullet yesterday, or rather, she had realized that it could be a bad idea to give it to her and distract her from her mission, so she kept it, opting to wait until today to give it to her. Walking out of her room, she found most of the temple team in the common room, talking about enchanting bullets and such.

'Well, looks like they're busy at the moment...better wait until they're done.', she thought before heading to the kitchen to check up on some of her more spoilable alchemy ingredients. Hopefully, no one else had ended up using them.

?Good to know.? He replied, thinking things over. ?Don?t think I?ll need anything that fancy or extreme. I?m looking for penetration over alpha damage, so a simple upping of the muzzle velocity should work. The slug is maxed at about 1800 fps, so even just doubling that should be good. Also, is the any way to add an enchantment ?breaker?? If we meet any more like that tin can last night, I want to be able to crack him open on my terms.?

Nodding a greeting to Jarrah, he waited for Sierra to finish badgering Solomon into a shower. ?But yeah, don?t need any elemental stuff; and I?ve had an encounter with Abyssal energy, took me weeks to recover form that?had to blow up a reactor to cover up the mess from the fight.? Leaving the slug with Sierra, he sat back in his original seat as Solomon re-appeared.

"Better now? So, I assume you started without me, right? What's the topic?"

?Much, now my eye isn?t watering with the smell of ?dog?, and no we?re still waiting on Jackie-boy.? Viktor said. ?I figured we?d go over the stuff we hauled out of there, and see if any of it is worthwhile?oh and while I think of it, Jarrah, once we?re done can I talk with you for a second??

After Juliet was finish with the paper work, Tomas and William went to the small after party. Light drinking for Tomas, and William making some food for all. Though it wasn't much both had fun while chatting with their teammates. Even getting a bit out of Tomas in his gloomy mood he was always in.

Next Day

Tomas

Tomas look at the alarm clock as he turn it off. While he got alright sleep last night after the party, he was awoken late at night when jarrah got home. While he wasn't annoyed now, he wish Jarrah at least didn't just made such loud noises when he came in. Though letting it go as the mission might have been hard on him.

Getting ready for the morning as he headed out when fully dressed. Letting Jarrah sleep as he seem like he needed it. With it still early out, Tomas headed out to jog and exercise for a few hours. Returning as he finished up and saw some people up and headed towards the meeting room. Following after as he sat down, some sweat still on his body. "So...how did the mission go last night?"

William

William lay in the bed for a good while. He was tired, and didn't feel like moving at all today. He felt stress, depress and worried all at the same time. The dreams, the stupid dreams he thought he was done with came back last night. More like nightmares really. He hated when he dreamt of his childhood before he was at the school. The pain, the horrible memories, and...he never like to think about it.

Though he remember what his mentor said, and lightly breath in and out. He would do him no good to stay in bed and let his inner demons hold him back. Working his way up as he slowly got dress. He felt sick as he move but push it aside. Once finished dressing, he headed out of his room and towards the meeting room. Wondering if anyone was there. Spying some as he went inside and smile. Doing a small wave as he sat somewhere in the back. Hoping no one would ask if something was wrong as he felt wrong on the inside.

The party went fairly well, nothing special just some drinking and talking, but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Honestly Juliet hadn't expected much more, though she was surprised that even Tomas showed up for it. Then again it was in the dorm, it'd be hard for him not to show up.

Next Day

Juliet was certainly not the first to trickle into the common room, having slept in, and found several others gathered there already. Sol who looked fresh out of the shower, Vik who was asking Sierra to enchant bullets for him, Will and Tomas who had arrived only just before she did. Tomas looked like he had been exercising, while Will looked rather troubled. Wonder what could be bothering him... eh shy as he is he's not likely to open up about it in front of everyone, though could be worth asking about.

The temple team's efforts interested her though, their mission seemed to have been successful as far as she was aware and she had the feeling it had been a good deal more exciting than hers. Besides she hadn't had the chance to talk much with the newest member Sol, and he had been on it.

"So how was your night?" she said, directing her question mostly at Sol.

"Much, now my eye isn't watering with the smell of 'dog', and no we're still waiting on Jackie-boy. I figured we'd go over the stuff we hauled out of there, and see if any of it is worthwhile...oh and while I think of it, Jarrah, once we're done can I talk with you for a second?"

"Don't knock it till you try it," Sol grinned, but he nodded. "And I suppose that makes sense. I feel sorry for Jarrah, though, if you need to talk to him individually," he joked, though he had a feeling he knew what it was. Jarrah had kept one of the cultists alive, which had ended up being beneficial but likely still was regarded as an issue. Sol could understand the reasoning behind it, if they couldn't be sure that one of their people finished their job, someone might get put at risk. Still, he wasn't sure he liked the thought of forcing someone to kill either.

Especially not considering how eager some of the others seem to be.

More people arrived, which didn't bother Sol, the more the better. Even so, this did make Jack being late even more unacceptable, almost everyone but the shadow being was there now.

"So...how did the mission go last night?"

Sol decided to let someone else answer that. Not because he didn't have his own opinion regarding how it had gone -somewhat of a mess, successful, but with too many individual mistakes to be called well-, but because he was more curious about how the others saw it. Answering might mean that they hesitated to give their opinion, or loudly disagreed with what he said. Instead, he looked over at Will, who had given a quick wave. Whether it was because the other sat so far in the back, or if it was because there was something that didn't quick match up in the other's facial expression and body language, Sol noticed that something didn't seem quite right.

Is he feeling down, perhaps? Or just shy?

It had been fairly obvious to him from the start that this Will -whose name he had asked some of the others for between the initial meeting and the mission- wasn't the most outspoken person, so he didn't bring it up. Instead, he waited for their eyes to meet, then smiled, carefully, tilting his head to the side as if to ask the other of something without speaking aloud. He waited for a response, be it an expression or something else. Then he looked back towards the others, and got a question directed at him from Juliet.

"So how was your night?"

"Which part?" Sol asked, teasingly. Then he shrugged. "Well, the first part wasn't too bad, but the ending was definitely my favorite," he replied. "I made a new friend, even. Not to mention, the beds here at this college are comfy, makes me wish I had one of my own rather than being confined to the couch."

Sierra sighed internally 'really ... that's all you want ...' she thought. She put up a little spell circle on around the slug she was given and after drawing a few runes into it with the stylus from her phone.

"So how was your night?"

"S'all right. Pretty dull though, lot of sitting, waiting and 'stepping on ants' as it where. Did have a demon mercenary show up though, who was impressive for all of five seconds." she said to Juliet as she continued to work on Viktor's slug. "Other then that, mission went fine. Viktor might have a few words otherwise though. He's the 'solider' here after all, sure we did something to annoy him." Sierra put the final touches on the enchantment and give the slug a tap, it glowed for a second as the runes imprinted themselves on the slug, after which she leaned toward Viktor and handed him the slug.

As she did this Seth walked into the room, and stood before the group."Where's jack?" Seth said, he seemed a little agitated.

Jack was ignoring most of the other members of the team as they took off in the van back towards the school. He couldn?t interrogate the cultist himself and he had no urge to talk to anyone in the van. He silently sat there and was only momentarily brought back to reality as he heard an audible snap come from the captive as Viktor snapped his neck. He quickly lost interest however and went back to blankly staring out the window.

Once back at the school, everyone appeared to depart, and go towards their respective rooms. Jack however was bored and didn?t tire. He began walking around the campus and simply reaching out with his senses for something to do. This would prove fruitless however as near everyone appeared to be in bed by this point. He moved his way off of the main buildings a bit to find a somewhat isolated place to simply practice forming his weapons and doing his best to refine them. He used the trees around him as practice until the sun came up.

Next Day

Jack was still rather bored as he simply walked around in the sunlight. Reaching out and trying his best to distract himself. He thought back on the fight and on his teammates. Sierra must be a rather important character. Well half breed demons usually were but the demon said she?d get him a high price. Someone was hunting her but he didn?t know who, best not to think about it for now. Viktor was a fun vampire to annoy. He had little to no patience and usually worked with professionals. Sol on the other hand seemed to be more of a calm, collected, and playful individual most of the time. He kept his cool during most of the situation and never acted impatiently as Viktor had. Jack had hardly seen Jarrah most of the mission. What was that Yowie doing during the majority of the mission?

He had been deep enough in thought about his other teammates that he had lost track of time. Quietly muttering a curse he stepped indoors before transforming and heading for the meeting place. He had just appeared in the room, and was beginning to reform into his human form in a dark corner, when Seth said.

"Where's jack?"

?Present.? He replied casually as his hood formed over his head. A slight smirk on his face from the agitated tone Seth had taken.

"Where's Jack?"

"Present."

?Speak of the Devil, and He shall appear.? Viktor said with a grin. ?Now that everyone is here, we get the fun task of going through what happened last night, and figuring out if any of these books are worth a damn.? He added, gesturing to the stacks of books he?d put up against the wall of the common room. Turning too Seth, he went on. ?We only managed to interrogate one of the cannon fodder unfortunately; there was a priestess of some kind but they were marked with some sort of ?anti-interrogation? rune, and her head exploded when Jack tried to hijack her. Same thing when I tried to interrogate another one of the minions; but fortunately Solomon had more luck with the last one.?

?So there was that, and we got jumped by some horned prick outta the Dark Ages.? He added with a sigh; this?d supposed to have been a simple S and D?but since when had the Universe ever been that accommodating? Having touched on the main points, he sat back and waited for either questions from Seth or details from the other.

As Viktor spoke Seth walked over to the stack of book as started thumbing through one, skimming really. "Did the demon have or say anything to suggest it's allegiance? A crest on the armor, or something about killing you in the name of his lord." Seth asked as he continued skimming the book.

"He said something about getting 'paid' to retake the temple." Sierra said "I didn't see a crest on the shield or chest plate." Seth just nodded, "Likely a Mercenary then. Which is of little use. Demon Mercenary's are hardly difficult to come by and hire." Seth closed the book and sighed "This book however, is far more telling as to what we're dealing with." he said as he put the book back down.

"I suppose I should explain exactly what you've found here." Seth said patting the book a couple times. "This, is part of a 'manual' that contains instructions on how to create an artificial demon commonly called a 'Gate'. In the simplest of terms Gates are part of the Demon Realms 'Mass Transit System', generally doing the job that trains or aircraft do in the Human Realm as far as transporting people and freight from one place to another over great distances."

"The cost of installing and maintaining a system of Gates is prohibitive though. Usually only the higher ranking Demon Lords and the Greater Demon Lords can afford it. Not only that, only the Southern and Western Kingdoms promote wide spread use of Gates. The other two use them as well, naturally, but its far less wide spread and really only for the use of the Lords them selves, but that's getting into Demon Realm politics and off topic."

Both Will and Tomas watch as more of their group members made their way into the commons room. Planning on to discussing what happen at each of their respected missions. Mostly both were listening to what the others had to say. For Tomas he didn't feel like anything yet until they were all here and to see how the other team did. While William just didn't feel like talking at the moment.

Tomas

After they were all mostly here, Tomas saw Seth start up the meeting as he started talking about the temple crew mission and what they found. Listening as the idea of portal intersted him. He always thought demons could just form portals on their own or something like that. He didn't know that there were actually devices made for this. He wonder who built them as he ask "So..quick question. these gates are a demon invention right? Have any gates led anywhere else besides here?"

William

William notice that one of the teammates he didn't meet was looking at him. Giving him a smile and a look that seem to ask 'Is everything alright?' While William was glad someone was..sort of asking, he didn't feel like opening up to a complete stranger. Plus he shouldn't put his trouble past onto someone else. William gave a really fake smile and just wave it off as if saying, 'It's nothing.' He return his thoughts to the matter at hand. As he listen to Tomas question, he too wonder about the Gates the demons have.

"Jarrah, once we're done can I talk with you for a second?"

"I feel sorry for Jarrah, though, if you need to talk to him individually,"

Jarrah gave an affirmative shrug. He knew after last night Viktor would likely talk to him sooner or later, so the vampire's request came as no surprise. For the most part he remained silent, letting the rest of the group field the inevitable question of how the mission went.

Jarrah perked up a little however when Seth arrived, and lent his explanation to what the books they had recovered contained. Though the Yowie primarily studied Human Society and Culture, he was no less curious about the workings of the hidden 'monster' world. The information on the 'Gates' either, the existence of four demon kingdoms (he assumed that a Northern and Eastern kingdom completed the quartet), Jarrah absorbed all of it like a sponge.

"So why would the cultists have instructions how to make these Gates?" He asked, speaking for the first time.

People began to file into the common room and talk about the temple mission, though Mira didn't really concern herself with it. They had all made it back, thats all she cared about. Still, she kept an ear perked up (metaphorically) for anything interesting, while she made sure that some of her ingredients hadn't spoiled. That anything interesting came when she heard Seth walk into the room.

Making sure that her ingredients were good, she stood up and payed attention, after all, he may have another mission for them. As it turns out though, he seemed more interested in reading the books that the temple team had brung back, seeming to skim through them and figure out the contents in just a few seconds. Once he did that he began relating what he'd just learned to them, telling them about these (living?) demon gates that the demons had. While the subject was somewhat interesting, Mirabelle didn't focus on that. She instead began to wonder why they would want that information and how it should be if use.

Talking to herself, she said, "So, the cultists were trying to or at least planning to create a rail system, most likely to the demon world, but why? Most likely because they want to summon another demon...if i'm right in assuming that they're related to the cultists that attacked before, of course. That though...that leaves the question of who they're trying to summon and who gave them the instructions... " After some more silent muttering on the subject, she turned to Seth and asked, "So, how long would it take for one of those gates to become operational and is there and way or means that they be destroyed safely during the process?"

Sol still wasn't completely convinced that Will was fine, the smile given seemed forced. Even so, it wasn't his business, he would keep an eye out, perhaps try to talk to the other about something else, and if it turned out to be nothing, he'd let it go. Besides, not everyone was fond of talking, and Sol wasn't completely sure the other was capable of it, not having heard him speak yet. Instead, he listened for people's opinions on the mission.

"S'all right. Pretty dull though, lot of sitting, waiting and 'stepping on ants' as it where. Did have a demon mercenary show up though, who was impressive for all of five seconds. Other then that, mission went fine. Viktor might have a few words otherwise though. He's the 'solider' here after all, sure we did something to annoy him."

Well, she certainly has an ego.

Her and Viktor both, he had noticed. Jarrah was friendly, but stubborn enough to do as he preferred, if the mission was any indication, while Jack was simply quiet. A bit cold, Sol figured, he was used to people talking to him, not just sneaking around, blowing people's heads up. The former was simple to deal with, the latter needed to be observed. Not that difficult to handle.

However, Viktor and Sierra were both "egos", they were headstrong and easily angered, with Sierra arrogant and seeming used to getting most of the attention, with an while Viktor was controlling and used to get his way. It wasn't that he disliked either of them, but interacting with them would probably be difficult, and he would have to take greater care not to step on either person's foot. With Sierra, simply not addressing her had worked for this long, but if she noticed his approach, it likely wouldn't work anymore. As for Viktor... Sol sort of thought he could see where to step.

They might be monsters, but they're also people, and I know how to handle people. Besides, it'll take a lot more than that for me to not like someone.

It wasn't like he was tricking or manipulating them, he was simply trying to make an effort to not step on anyone's feet. Sol liked being pleasant, after all, the same way he liked people in general. He would have to spend time examining the rest of the group too, pissing off a supernatural being was the last thing he wanted. As he thought of this, he listened to what the rest said, only speaking when Jarrah asked a question.

"So why would the cultists have instructions how to make these Gates?"

"Probably because they're working with, and, possibly, on the behalf of demons. If the creatures in the basement wasn't enough, the fact that they sent a mercenary demon after us should be. For as "anti supernatural creatures" these guys were described to be, they sure seem very willing to use the means of demons to do as they wish." He sat back, and brushed some of his still damp hair to the side.

"I'll admit that I've not exactly been briefed in detail, they also mentioned "gate keepers", which could have been those creatures in the basement. Regardless, whatever the purpose of these gates are, there's something big planned. Something that I don't doubt Seth has bigger insight into than any of us," he grinned, eyes kept on the snake demon.

I wonder if he'll tell us, though. Given how badly I was briefed earlier, he might have a reason to keep information to himself.

With that, he decided to simply listen, eyes still lingering on Seth. Not flirting -though, perhaps easily confused as such-, but rather trying to read the demon, a challenge, if nothing else.

"I made a new friend, even. Not to mention, the beds here at this college are comfy, makes me wish I had one of my own rather than being confined to the couch."

"I'd offer to share mine," she said teasingly "but I don't think there's room in my dorm room for a third person."

"The cost of installing and maintaining a system of Gates is prohibitive though. Usually only the higher ranking Demon Lords and the Greater Demon Lords can afford it. Not only that, only the Southern and Western Kingdoms promote wide spread use of Gates. Well yes, doesn't everyone know this? Why would the cultists want to make a gate, they might be seeking audience with a demon lord or maybe they want to try and get a demon army to cross over. Can't see either working out for them very well. Could be something else I'm overlooking though... The others all had questions along the same lines, Juliet though remained quiet, not having much to add to the situation.

"So why would the cultists have instructions how to make these Gates?" Jarrah asked

"Probably because they're working with, and, possibly, on the behalf of demons. If the creatures in the basement wasn't enough, the fact that they sent a mercenary demon after us should be. For as "anti supernatural creatures" these guys were described to be, they sure seem very willing to use the means of demons to do as they wish." Sol Replied, though some what incorrectly.

"These cultists are not with the group that attacked the school. A part from that, that is the best, and only conclusion to come to. This 'Demigra' supplied them with both the instructions, materials, and equipment needed to grow them. If not 'Demigra' then another Demon Lord, because the Human Realm lacks all but one or two things needed to create them." Seth first corrected, then expanded upon a bit.

"So..quick question. these gates are a demon invention right? Have any gates led anywhere else besides here?"
"So, how long would it take for one of those gates to become operational and is there and way or means that they be destroyed safely during the process?" Tomas and Mira asked.

"Most Gates don't actually go to the Human Realm. In fact there are only six Gates out of, nearly fifty thousand, give or take, that are use explicitly to come to the Human Realm. The rest are for getting from one place to another in the Demon Realm." Seth stared. "Believe it or not, Your world is, over all, a pretty low priority on the list of most all Demon Lords. A couple of the Great Demon Lords have an interest in some part of this world, but those interest can be fulfilled with out wasting time on a cult. One demon or a small team of them, living as a human, and usually working in the related field is the usual practice, and generally mutually beneficial as well."

Seth then turned to Mirabelle's question. "Depends on what you need to go through it, how good the soil is, because these things are plant like in nature, and how good the team making them was. But the average for a Gate to be ready for a demon the size of my self or Juliet is about a week. After a month though you could drive the average city bus through one."

Viktor sat quietly as others asked questions, nodding with approval as they asked the right ones. Seth?s information on the ?Gates? perked his interest; he?d known they existed, but that was about it, and more detail was appreciated. ?I?ve got a couple of questions. How durable is a ?mature? Gate? If it come to shutting one down I want to be able to do it in one shot. The other is, just what do you need to ?grow? a Gate? You said this Realm provides only a couple of the needed bits; so what are they, and more importantly how rare are they??

Relaxing a bit in his seat, he began rolling the stubby shell, which Sierra had returned to him, between his fingers. ?Speaking of this ?Demigra?, have your sources found anything useful on them??
