Daniel listened with interest regarding what Seth had to say about the College and Gungir, even stepping into a bit of the history surrounding it. Looking back, this place was almost like a miniature version of The Order, albeit on a more civilian level compared to the government/paramilitary organization that was The Order. Of course, all this would have to be written down in a report that Daniel would have to send back to headquarters, whilst not mission critical, it'd be considered a crucial asset.

"After all, can't exactly trust a group like the Iscariot and the like to give people like them the protection they'd need should a group like these terrorist find out about them." Seth had a point with them, the Iscariot were a rather overzealous bunch after all, concerned more about matters of God. Daniel had a few run-ins with them in the past during his early years with The Order, suffice to say, they weren't peaceful.

"Being that you seem to be a man in the know Your probably wondering why, I of all demons, am here. Selfish and 'scheming' as I am, right? That's simple. First off all, I was asked to. Specifically as a financial backer for the organization. I'm only handling a squad due to a lack of experienced staff. Secondly, well, even I have my moments of philanthropy." Seth ended with a smirk, Daniel meanwhile found the idea a little humorous.

"It's not often you hear charity and kindness coming from a Demon. Must have a fair amount of cash on hand to help a place like this. Though I imagine once more senior staff come along, you'll be taking more of a support role am I right?" Daniel asked, but before Seth could answer, they were interrupted.

Getting a look at the gentleman as he approached, Daniel could see judging from his face that he was in his mid-to-late twenties, and of roughly equal height and a similar build compared to the Angel; though his dress sense was like something you'd find out of a role playing game or fantasy action film, granted, they way Daniel dressed made it look as though he stepped out of a film noir or detective novel.

"Hey, Seth," He started off with. "Could you do something about those training sessions? I don't want or need to go, and I figured your handsome smile would make them dismiss me. Oh, I didn't notice you were talking to someone, hello there." The gentleman said with a smile in Daniel's direction.

"Hello." Daniel replied with, giving the man a not sure if serious look. He then looked back towards Seth.

"I take it this one is another part of the squad you're commanding? I'll admit, certainly a varied assortment you got here."

After the trainers dismissed the others, and Sol left, Viktor made his way over to William. ?So,? He said, carefully reading William?s expressions to make sure his mind was still his own. ?How?d you fair?? I suppose I should give Juliet a bit more credit than that?but succubi can be, and generally are, more slaves to their nature than most non-humans. Surprising himself, Viktor chuckled. Are you making justifications for a demon? The world has gone mad.

"I take it this one is another part of the squad you're commanding? I'll admit, certainly a varied assortment you got here."

"Indeed, This is Solomon Thorn, or Sol, as he prefers, a Hunter filling in for an injured member of my team, at their request." Seth said to Daniel before turning to Sol "Is this coming for the place of your Hunters training, or are they not doing they're jobs right?" Seth asked Sol, curious as to which it is. If it was the 'Hunter' talking, he'd have to reject it, Hunters are famously lone wolves, if the trainers aren't doing they're jobs right, he'd need to get up top of that and fix it immediately.

Lenah wouldn't have needed to look far, security was thinker then usual, and she even saw them carting out the ruined remains of demons in armor, one of which looked to have been crushed and compacted to the size of a bowling ball. There was talk about a Doctor and a Nurse being in a magically induced daze of some kind and something happening happening to the patient, but it sounded like she was still alive.

Solomon

"Indeed, This is Solomon Thorn, or Sol, as he prefers, a Hunter filling in for an injured member of my team, at their request."

Who is this guy? He couldn't be the guy that helped Sierra, right? I mean, he's talking to Seth, but wouldn't he already be attending the school?

Regardless of which it was, Sol bowed slightly. "It's a pleasure. Now---" He was about to repeat his question, but apparently Seth had heard him, just put him on hold, and turned to Sol next.

"Is this coming for the place of your Hunters training, or are they not doing they're jobs right?"

"Well it'd be unreasonable to---" he scratched his stubbles, thinking of a way to put it. "Both," Sol then said, "Or rather, my hunter's training makes it clear that I should be expecting more, and common sense tells me that if torture ghosts with party poppers appear sometimes during your mission, something is wrong."

Will that be enough?

Sol had a feeling that it wouldn't, so he looked at the stranger some more, making sure to meet his eyes. It was only a very brief moment, only when he referred to the other as a lovely fellow, but hopefully it would have some kind of effect.

"Besides, as you just told this lovely fellow, I'm just a fill in for Lenah, I don't need to have the same kind of training as your group. I have my basics covered, team-work is something I'll pay attention to simply because I don't want anyone to die. You know I wouldn't let anyone die that easily, not when my job is making sure they don't."

Lenah

Lenah noted the security. And the demons. One of the demons had been crushed into the size of a bowling ball, and there was a doctor and a nurse in some sort of daze. Something was happening to Sierra as well, but at least she was alive. Lenah started looking for a way in, regardless of if it might not be the best thing to do right now, she was curious, and her curiosity was a powerful motivator. Almost as powerful as her sense of adventure and her need for fun, both of which also pushed her forward.

I do wonder what happened.

Demons, dazes, Sierra being attacked, and by her own people, no less! Well, her own kind. Perhaps that was different with the demons, since there were so many of them. She at least knew that nymphs were protective of each other, the world they had been created for had changed, and thus they needed to try to reduce the amount of human invasion of their safe-places. Sadly, it didn't always work, and while Lenah liked humanity, she did not see the need for such large concrete cities.

Anyways, how do I get past these guys? Should I try to appeal to them? get a doctor's outfit?

She settled on throwing something -her glass, it would be okay, no one was there to get hurt- on a door a bit away, and trying to sneak in when they were distracted. It was either that or leaping over them, anyhow.

With everyone else walking away, both Tomas and William were about to join them. Though William was stopped by Viktor. William was surprise to see Viktor here and smiled a bit, his mood a bit better. Hearing the question as William said, "A-alright..I sort of came up with the plan to handle the 'Missoin,' " He said a bit proudly. While it wasn't nothing too big, it still felt great to be of some help. "By the way..where did you go?"

"It's fine, the Twins shouldn't have even made contact, let alone been sarcastic enough to break out party poppers. Didn't know the little devils where capable of humor that didn't rely on some one being in mind breaking pain. Good to know really. Anyway, good job coming back with your team intact, as well as adapting to the unintentional involvement of an 3rd party."

"Well...you should really praise Will and Sol, since they were the ones who handled those problems while most of us just listened..." Mirabelle said, believing that they should get the accolades since it was their thinking that carried the team. She paused for a moment afterwards before adding, "...though now that i think about it, Sol may not particularly like such praise for this mission."

"For now I say return to your handler, or go see about seeing your wounded squad mate if she's allowed visitors."

"Alright then." Mira said before spinning around and...wondering just where she would go. She could try asking Viktor about her...but she wasn't too sure what he knew of her condition, after all, he may have still been in that meeting when she was attacked. Still, she could just go to Sierra herself...and risk wasting her time if she wasn't taking visitors. She thought for a moment, weighing each decision in her head, before eventually settling on the latter, mostly since if Sierra wasn't taking visitors, she could still ask Viktor. Besides, he was talking with Will, and she didn't want to just rudely but in.

So with that she headed off to the medical building, hoping to at least find out if she was ok.

"A-alright...I sort of came up with the plan to handle the 'Mission?, by the way...where did you go?"

?Nicely done, though Solomon gave me the impression that the ?mission? itself left a bit to be desired.? With a nod of his head, he motioned for Will to follow him as he left the training room. ?As for myself? Sierra got jumped and needed an evac. She?s a bit banged up, but she?ll be fine.? Probably. Stepping on to the concourse he saw a large group of students, both male and female, pass. Letting out a sigh, he rubbed at the scarred side of his face. ?I feel so goddamn old sometimes; though supposedly it gets easier to deal with after the one hundred or one hundred and fifty year mark.?

"Indeed, This is Solomon Thorn, or Sol, as he prefers, a Hunter filling in for an injured member of my team, at their request." Seth replied as he introduced the gentleman. Apparently, Solomon had a problem with the training sessions here, and hoped that Seth might be able to do something about it to get him excused from them.

"One should never shirk on training, though perhaps you should be tested at a different level compared to the others given your previous experience." Daniel remarked as he twirled a playing card between his fingers.

"Anyway, if you don't mind me Seth, I'm going to have a look around this place some more and get familiar with it; I have a feeling I might be here a while. Later Solomon Kane." He then added, waving behind him as he left.

"One should never shirk on training, though perhaps you should be tested at a different level compared to the others given your previous experience."

"I am perfectly capable of training on my own," Sol replied. "Higher level or not, I know enough to deduce that at least 1 of the trainers is useless, two of them are fairly rude, and that the last one hasn't said enough for me to have any opinion. I sort of doubt these people could even give me training on a higher level. I don't need these people, I need someone like my master." Sol felt a bit uncomfortable being as scathing as he was, perhaps it was just a bad day and they were perfectly okay. However, he didn't want or need okay, he needed someone decent.

"Anyway, if you don't mind me Seth, I'm going to have a look around this place some more and get familiar with it; I have a feeling I might be here a while. Later Solomon Kane."

"It's Solomon Thorn, not Kane," Sol said, wondering whether it was intentional or not. His reply was a bit bemused as he spoke. "And I suppose we might see each other again."

Is it because I didn't ask him what his name was?

Of course, Thorn and Kane had similar sounds, perhaps the other had simply let it slip his mind. Regardless, Sol turned to Seth.

"So, who was that? Was it Sierra's shining knight in a grey coat? I am truly sorry if I interrupted something important, but I really need to not ever go to those people again, pretty please. I'll make it up to you, I promise."

From what Sol had seen from Seth, a promise like that might get the gears running, the other seemed to be plotting enough to make good use of something like that. Of course, Sol had every intention to keep the promise, the thought of wasting his time with another session like that, every day of the week, simply was that unappealing.

"I'm not giving you my soul, though," he added, playfully. "It's my duty as a man of god to not sell my soul to demons." It was spoken somewhat in jest, there was little pretentiousness or dislike of Seth as he spoke. It was still true, though.

While Tomas was out doing his own thing, which mostly consist of getting something to eat after the training session and training some more in the gym. William was hanging around Viktor and enjoying his company. "That awful to hear what happen to Sierra." William said, sadden to hear that one of their teammates was ambush and injured.

William watch as students came passing around them. William, while not as skittish like he was before, still felt nervous to be around them in such a large group. Though his focus return to Viktor when he said how old he was. "Wow..didn't think you look that old...though not as old as my mentor as he is a bit.." he didn't know how to say it as he said "older then a hundred."

Seth

Seth snickered at Sols 'man of god' line. "I've met a lot of 'Men of God' Sol, you would be surprised how many where nether 'men' nor 'of god'." He said with smirk. "And yeah, he was there. Donno how much 'shinning knight' apply's since she's laid up and there isn't a mark on him, but he did give me some Intel to work with, not much but enough to work with."

"As for the training program, I'll look into it and make sure every thing is up to standard. If it's no I'll bring some of my people in and get every one up to scratch that way." Seth said after a moment of thought. "But if you insist on sitting it out, fine, your 'not on the payroll' so your already 'attendance optional' anyway."

Medical

Lenah's distraction didn't work, mostly cause there was so much going on that no one really heard it and those that did assumed it was some a near by patient.

"Well, least she'll be easier to treat now" A nurse said as she left Sierra's room with a Doctor. "True, but I'm concerned that she was attacked in her room, and that her 'demonic presence' is completely gone." was all Lenah could hear before they moved to far away.

Mirabelle was met with the sight of what was left of the demons that attacked Sierra in her in her room be carted down to a lower level for examination. Though her efforts to see Sierra was met with the same answer of she's not allowed visitors right now.

"That awful to hear what happen to Sierra."

Viktor replied with a non-comital shrug. At least with her out, she?s less likely to get somebody else killed with her arrogance and pig-headedness. He thought.

"Wow...didn't think you look that old...though not as old as my mentor as he is a bit?older than a hundred."

He chuckled a bit at William?s surprise about his age. ?Well I?m not there yet.? He said. ?I?m only ninety-four. Most of my friends and ?family? range between two to nine hundred. The youngest clan Elder is just over twelve hundred?though she looks about eight.? We should go pedo-hunting again when I get home. Rocking his head from side to side to ?pop? his neck, he looked down at William as they began to stroll along in the shade. ?So, what do you want to do??

"Well, he could have used this chance to infiltrate the school, technically. If he were with the attackers, they could have planned it as a way to get closer to the school. Of course," he smiled innocently. "I don't think like that about people, trust is a lot better."

Not that Sol really knew how to trust someone completely. When a good chunk of your life had been spent around liars and opportunists, that was a difficult to do. Perhaps especially because the people who had hurt him first was his own family. Still, it was easier to hope for the best and expect the worst, no need to be outright distrustful of people just because there was a chance they may be dangerous. Besides, Sol had found that being nice and polite, and just most of all likeable, made people less likely to screw you over, because they would prefer to keep you around.

"As for god and men... well, I tend to think of it like this; the bible was written by man, and filtered through biases that are thousands of years old. There are those who hide behind it and use it like a shield, picking phrases and chapters to fit their own agenda. They don't believe as much as they choose a narrative that fits with what they want, or even what they want to believe in. Perhaps I do too, to some extent, but I won't use it as an excuse to hurt anyone else. That is entirely on me and my flaws. So don't worry, I'm not going to chop someone's head off because they're a vampire, or stab someone because they're a demon. It takes some money for me to do that."

He chuckled, Sol knew that he couldn't fit into every part of the catholic church either way, but no one was perfect, and he was doing work that needed to be done.

"As for the training program, I'll look into it and make sure every thing is up to standard. If it's no I'll bring some of my people in and get every one up to scratch that way. But if you insist on sitting it out, fine, your 'not on the payroll' so your already 'attendance optional' anyway."

"Really? Should have told me that--- wait, there's a payroll?" he raised his eyebrow. "Like, I could be paid for doing this stuff? Real money?" He scratched his chin, eyes kept on Seth's. "What would it take for that to happen? I have to admit that I didn't really plan that well when getting here, and I'm not entirely sure if Lenah wants me to return as early as when she's better, since apparently she's off combat-duty. I don't know how long that would be feasible, though, given... well, that I need to keep up to date with tools and food..." He started muttering to himself, looking away briefly and then looked back at Seth.

"So, would it be possible? If not, then yes, I will sit out every training session, I can handle myself. If you don't believe I can, then I sort of doubt I'd be much use out in the field either way. anyways, I'll give you some time to think of it, no need giving me a reply right now. You have my number." He crossed his arms, hoping for some sort of arrangement to be possible. It did sound pretty find neat. As he walked away, he got a message from Lenah, and returned for a brief moment.

"Say, Seth, you don't happen to know what it would mean if Sierra's demonic presence is completely gone, right? I'm just asking for... curiosity's sake."

Lenah

Sadly, and slightly worryingly, no one paid attention to a glass getting shattered when smashing into a door.

Like, seriously? I would at very least have reacted to it.

She briefly considered using her looks and beautiful attire to get past the guards. However, then she overheard something.

"True, but I'm concerned that she was attacked in her room, and that her 'demonic presence' is completely gone."

What? That's not good, right? It can't be good, if they suspect that.

Lenah had no idea what it meant, but it sounded bad. She sent a message to Sol, he might know more about it.

I think that's everything I'm going to get for now.

It was probably not best not to push it too far, else she could get in serious trouble. She decided to walk back to her room. On the way, however, she saw Mirabelle, enquiring about visiting Sierra.

"Hi!" Lenah said, waving the other over. "I know you're not here for me, but, I've got some questions."

Looking upon the corpses of the demons, Mirabelle couldn't help but wonder how they died. At first, she assumed that they were the corpses of other students from the attack on the school but upon further examination she realized that they couldn't have been and infact may have been the demons who attacked Sierra...which begged the question of how they were killed. She didn't know if Sierra could have done it based off of what she had heard, and she found it unlikely that the school would bring the corpses back with them...had they been killed here in the hospital? All she knew was that she wanted to check on Sierra more now, if not just to make sure that she would be okay.

Still, that was easier said then done. The people at the front desk wouldn't let her go and see, nor would they give her any information about the bodies. At this point, she was quite frankly stumped as to how she would find out what happened to Sierra. She was just a hair's breath away from trying to track down the ghost Kirin, if he was still around, and begging him to see what was going on when she heard a short "Hi!", and turned to find Lenah waving her over. She didn't know why Lenah was up and about, though she was thankful that she seemed to be making a full recovery. Hopefully she would have more of and idea about what had happened than Mira did.

"I know you're not here for me, but, I've got some questions."

"Um...ok. I'm glad to see that you're getting better...what do you want to know?"

Seth

"Say, Seth, you don't happen to know what it would mean if Sierra's demonic presence is completely gone, right? I'm just asking for... curiosity's sake."

Seth turned almost instantly and started for the Medical Building. He didn't need to know how Sol got that info, he figured it was Lenah, what mattered is the info it self. If her 'Demonic Presence' was gone, that probably meant she died, and if she was dead, he was going to be pissed, for several reasons, not the least of which was he wasn't funding these people to let some one die from such and easily manageable wound, and the lost to the team.

When Seth got there, he saw Lenah and Mirabelle and when he asked about Sierra, got the same 'not allowed visitors' answer every one else got. Seth was having none of to, and with only a slight glow from his gold eyes to indicate he'd done anything, put the receptionist into some kind of trance and got Sierra's room number with no further issue, apparently she'd just been moved to a new room, he then bid Lenah and Mirabelle to follow him.

When he got there, there was a couple guards at the door, those stepped a side once Seth introduced him self. Once in he found Sierra, sleeping, probably still under from surgery, but very much a live, and like Sol had said, her demonic presence was totally gone. At first he thought she was just critically drained from the fight and injury, but upon closer inspection it was in fact, completely gone. Some one or something had completely 'cut' the demon out of her, leaving Sierra purely human.

"Lovely, another mystery to solve..."

William was surprised to hear that the oldest clan member is a little girl. Though William guess she doesn't have the mentality of a little girl any more. Not liking the idea of staying that small forever as he shivers and quickly pushes the thought to the side. "I'm up for anything really Viktor." William said with a friendly smile.

He was going to suggest visiting Sierra to see how she is doing, but decide against it. It was probably not the best of times since he doesn't get along with her too well. He just hope Viktor doesn't choose somewhere crowded. He was still, after all, getting used to being around people.

Solomon

Sol quickly enough found himself alone, as Seth turned around the moment he heard the question, and went for the Medical Building.

"So, nothing good, I assume," Sol said, wondering if the other thought Sierra was dead. Sol had assumed something else, Lenah would've mentioned that, right? Yet, he couldn't help but feel uneasy. Writing another message to Lenah, he told her to keep him in the loop, and that Seth was headed towards her. He decided against following, surely it was already getting crowded outside her hospital room.

Should I just wait then?

Sol needed something to take his mind off all of this, Vik had said Sierra would be fine, yet Seth's reaction suggested something else entirely. Something like Luke, who he could go drinking with or just sit in bed. Part of him felt as if he should get it together, moving ahead a far too quickly.

It's not even been a day.

Yet, he didn't mind, the other had put a lot of trust in him, and Sol felt relaxed around Luke. Besides, if he played his cards right, an enjoyable evening might also become a fun night.

It didn't take long to find Luke. During the trip over to the other's house, the Beta house or something, Sol had gotten a message from Lenah, Sierra was fine, sleeping, but fine. Now he was currently deciding whether he should do the climb up to Luke's room or if he should send a message, though before he got the time to decide, he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"What are you doing around here?" It was a stranger's voice, and Sol raised an eyebrow. A muscular guy in not a particularly good mood stood there.

"What?" Sol asked, surprised. Was this guy for real?

I thought this kind of thing only happened in movies.

"Don't you know where you are? And what kind of clothes are that, human? This isn't the cosplay club, leave."

"Well, I'm sorry, but I'm looking for someone." He pulled away, and eyed the other. "A little advice, though. Don't be so rude, you'll end up being seen as a jerk."

"Sol?" Luke said, and walked over, between the two. "I didn't think..." He looked at the other guy, who shrugged and stepped away, glaring at the two when he did.

"Friend of yours?" Luke shook his head.

"No, not that guy. He's new, bottom of the pack, sort of. He doesn't like me." He rubbed his neck, and looked a little around before he looked back at Sol. "I wish you'd call me, though, so that we could meet somewhere a bit more hidden. N-not that I'm not happy to see you, I'm really glad you're here. I was just hoping to avoid someone like that... ehm, anyways, did you want to hang out?" Sol grinned.

"Well, yeah. I was wondering if you'd like to go for some drinks, a burger perhaps?" Luke smiled.

"Yeah, I'd love to."

Name:

lukasz "Luke" Winograd.

Race:

Human/Werewolf.

Age:

20.

Sex:

Male.

Description:

Luke is somewhere between 5'11" and 6' feet tall, and has a sporty build with wide shoulders and a slimmer waist. He has almost silvery blonde hair and blue eyes. He has sharper nails, long canines and thicker hair -both on the top of his head and on his body- than a lot of people, but these things aren't easy to spot unless you look for it, and none of it appears outright supernatural. As a rule, he keeps himself clean-shaven and wears his hair short, most of all because long hair and facial hair would take forever to keep. He's strong, but not extremely bulky, and tends to put on a pretence of confidence. Because of this, he can appear quite arrogant, and he has taken to a stance only aiding that image. When he's more comfortable with someone, he has a softer facial expression and body-language.

His werewolf-form has silver fur covering the entirety of his body and face, slender limbs and is longer than his human form. Even though it is a bit stretched out, it looks bulkier due to the fur being very thick, and he has a big bushy tail. The werewolf form has long, sharp claws, and its arms and legs are flexible enough to grab items and for climbing. It has long ears that starts where a human's ears would, and while his shape is more wolf-like many others -mainly due to the thick fur- it is still very distinct from a normal wolf.

Personality-wise, Luke also isn't what he might seem upon first meeting. While he puts up a pretence of being an arrogant jerk, this is not something he wants to be. It is simply a way for him to avoid getting pushed around within the beta house. Truthfully, he's calm and quiet, but polite, around crowds, even a little shy, but friendly and warm when he's around someone he trusts. And Luke does trust people rather easily, as long as they're nice. He can get quite angry, however, if someone pushes him to it. It isn't easy to do, but being mean to his friends usually makes him lash out. Granted, that is only if they didn't start it, and if they don't outright deserve it. Luckily, they normally do.

He's curious and likes to spend time listening to others. If he first wants something, he'll spend weeks on working towards it as long as it doesn't create inconveniences for him, which means he's good with saving money and using it for more rational purposes. Finally, he does have instincts that occasionally steer him, especially food and a, perhaps excessive, need for movement and hunting. While he wouldn't chase a squirrel, he has to admit that he really wants to every now and then. He also have moments or whims where he suddenly has a lot to say, airing just about everything that has been on his mind.

Powers: To be added?

Skills: Perhaps?

Biography:

Luke was born in a sizeable town in Poland, as a normal human being. Even so, he cannot remember a time when he didn't turn into a werewolf a few days before after and during a full moon, since he was bitten during a camping trip when he was one. He himself does not remember anything about it, but his parents has said that a large creature came to their tent, and, while they were out trying to chase it away, attacked Lukasz. His condition was oddly okay, apart from a some teeth-marks and a little blood, there was very little injury, which was remarkable considering the size of said teeth. Having been taken to the hospital as quickly as possible, his life was not in danger. For about a month, nothing bad happened after the incident, though his parents were, understandable enough, not very eager to let him out of their sight.

One day, however, during the next full moon, little baby Luke suddenly awoke, crying. His parents did not react to it at first, and thus he laid in his bed, unable to get out. A brief transformation later, he had fangs and fur. His parents were shocked to see a small, almost puppy-like being in place of their child, but managed to keep sort of calm. His fur matching his hair-color, and his eyes barely having changed color, they realized who it was, shockingly enough. Providing a bottle for the small, whimpering werewolf-pup, neither slept at all that night, and when the morning came, Luke changed back.

That was the first time the werewolf curse changed Luke, but it would not be the last, far from it. While they managed to keep him calm the two next nights, it soon became clear that they needed help dealing with it, and his grandmother was contacted. She had told her daughter, Luke's mother, stories about a friend that dealt with supernatural creatures, and they hoped that friend could help. Luke's grandmother told them to visit her, in Switzerland, and a year later they decided to stay there, in the outskirts of a very small village. The grandmother, as well as her friend, helped the couple through it. They taught them how to control Luke during the first year or so, when he could not remember being a werewolf at all, and to make his werewolf self associate their smell with safety. They got a muzzle so that he would not accidentally bite them and turn them into a werewolf.

It was difficult, but after a couple of years, it became something of a natural thing. Luke could control his werewolf self, and for a couple of days around the full moon, he would enter his parents room and crawl into their bed so that he wouldn't have to transform alone, willingly putting on the muzzle so that he wouldn't hurt them. Luke got used to being more of a tame dog than a dangerous wolf, and he preferred it, no danger of being seen or harming anyone. Of course he still had instincts, but they were slowly getting more and more drowned out.

Then he heard of Gato. It was odd, he had good control over his werewolf form, and while he would never really be a normal person, he was more a human than a werewolf. Yet, he wanted to try studying there, both so that he could live in a normal dorm without having to worry about scaring anyone, and so that he could see what other werewolves were like. He saved up some money and plead with his parents, and finally he was on his way to Japan. The first day of college, he was meeting new people, strange people with shapes and powers he could not even imagine... then came the werewolves living in the Beta-house.

Having noticed what he was by smell, they told him that he should be part of a pack, and that he was more than welcome to stay in the same house as they did, as long as he could prove he was good enough. Luke didn't think anything bad about it, and proving that he was good enough was a simple case with his enhanced senses and body. However, that was when he realized that he was a little different. While he was a bit quiet and diplomatic rather than aggressive, the others were not. Having never met another werewolf, it was quite the shock. He's had to endure a lot of beatings for him to get adjusted to the lifestyle, and even has some scars to show for it. He trains so that he can match the strength of the others, but he has no want for that power. He's still quiet and wants to be friendly, but it often gets overshadowed by others' hostility. Luke also doesn't fight unless he's pushed to it, and he's more likely to get picked on than picking on someone else.

The false show of confidence is something he has deemed necessary, as showing weakness is likely to make one of the others try to overtake his role. Exactly what his role is, isn't clear, he's not at the top, nor the bottom, and mostly stays under the radar. Thus he has lived for a year, and while he considers the other werewolves his friends -and they consider him one of theirs- meeting Sol has made him wonder whether it's worth pretending to be someone he's not so that he can fit in. His attraction to guys is just another thing to hide, and he doesn't know how long that'll last. Or even if he want to.

Lenah

"Um...ok. I'm glad to see that you're getting better...what do you want to know?"

"Well, some nurse said that she was worried about Sierra having been attacked in her room, since her demonic presence was gone. But I've been here the entire time, and I've not seen or heard anything, so could it mean something else? I---" she felt her phone vibrate from her hiding spot -she technically wasn't allowed to have a phone yet- inside her bra, and pulled it out.

"Oh. Sol says that Seth is headed this way, must have told him about it. Or he could have let it slip that I'm running around again, but Seth hardly cares about that, so I reckon it's the first." Lenah stretched, her expression revealing that she wasn't entirely sure what to feel.

"I mean, Sierra should be fine, I've not heard anything about her being close to death, but that statement worried me..." Before she got a chance to continue, Seth walked past, looking at the receptionist in some odd manner. Apparently that put them in some sort of trance, and they soon had the room number. He motioned for Lenah and Mira to follow, and Lenah did, stepping inside. Sierra was sleeping, but she looked fine -as fine as one could do after surgery, obviously- and Lenah sent one last message to Sol.

"She's fine, sleeping, but fine."

With that, she put her phone away, and examined Sierra. They hadn't really talked a lot, Lenah hadn't talked to a lot to most of the people in the group, yet she wanted to help.

"Lovely, another mystery to solve..."

"Is it about her demonic presence being gone?" Lenah said, guessing, then wrapped some of her hair around her finger. "She looks fine, is there something else wrong? If you'd like me to, I can keep an eye on her, I can't do anything about that, but... you know, I don't really have a lot to do either way, and I can hide from the nurses here when they come looking for me."

She attempted to sound optimistic -as optimistic as one could be, in the middle of a hospital- but it was clear that she was not enjoying days spent in a hospital bed. That was part of the reason she wanted to keep an eye on Sierra, surely Sierra would feel better if someone else was there.

"I'm up for anything really Viktor."

?Fat lot of good you are!? He replied with a laugh. He stood quietly for a moment, thinking, then he shrugged. ?Hell with it, I could use a drink.? Flipping his hood up and stuffing his hands into his pockets, he motioned for Will to follow. Striding into the sunlight, the duo crossed the campus and stepped out into the world. Leading the way, Viktor took them down the block a ways to a ?North American? style bar that catered to the ostensibly human students of Gato. He?d noticed the place during his travels, and was curious about it.

Once seated, he ordered a beer and chuckled as the waitress hurried off, blushing furiously, after she?d taken their orders. All he had done was wink at her when her realized she was trying not to look at the left side of his face, and failing. ?I do not get why people get so embarrassed. It?s not like I?m unaware that I look like I head-butted the business end of a garden trimmer.?

Seth

"Is it about her demonic presence being gone?" Lenah said as she curled her hair around her finger, then offered to stay and keep an eye on Sierra.

"Half demons are like full demons. They're demonic presence is part of them, and not something you just 'remove' with out killing them, and sealing it generally just leads to a coma like state." He said as he confirmed for him self that Sierra was still alive. "Sierra, how ever, is just asleep, purely human, but asleep, which shouldn't be possible, but here she is." Seth explained as he moved back toward Lenah and Mira.

Seth thought a moment, "I can think of a couple with the magical power theoretically needed to pull this off, they why ether would bother, is another matter." Seth Gave Sierra a quick glance. "For now, since you volunteered, Lenah, keep an eye on her and contact me the minute she wakes up, and tell Sol we'll need to have a talk about his status sooner rather then later." He said before exiting the room, clearly going over something in his mind.

Whatever her demonic presence was, the loss of it didn't seem to affect her too much as she seemed fine. Still, Mira was still processing all of the information she had been learned, about Sierra being wounded, the corpses which she saw earlier (which she was beginning to suspect were connected), and about her demonic presence being gone, so maybe she didn't have enough info to make a judgment in whether she was fine or not.

"Lovely, another mystery to solve..."

Mira shared the sentiment. First terrorists, then cultists, and now disappearing "presences"? At this point, she had to wonder if life at the school was always going to be this crazy with how frequently these problems were popping up. Still, he didn't seem angry or anything too much like that, so she could assume that Sierra was actually fine.

Soon enough, Seth gave a short explanation of what should happen when a demonic presence disappeared and how he had an idea of who could do it, but not why they would want to, before approving Lenah's plan and leaving, leaving the two of them in the room with Sierra. She really didn't know what to say to all that had transpired, mostly due to still connecting the dots and lacking information.

Talking out loud to herself and trying to get things straight, she said, "Umm...i guess it seems that there is something else going on. If Sierra was attacked in here, then wouldn't she show more signs of being attacked other than a missing presence, like more wounds or something? And Seth thinks that it may be someone else who took her presence besides those that attacked her...at least, thats what i got from that. It makes some sense i suppose since the ones who put her in here probably wouldn't try to take something like that non-lethally. Hmm...if the bodies i saw being taken away are involved in this, i guess...maybe her attackers came to finish the job only to be killed by this third party who then took her presence? It could explain why else the nurse would think that she was attacked, instead of say, lossing it due to surgery or some failing health or the like i guess, but if the bodies aren't connected..."

She tilted her back some, staring at the ceiling in exasperation, and said to Lenah, "I have no idea what's going on. I'm sorry that i can't give you much in the way of answers Lenah, i just learned of this right before our first training mission and i haven't learned of much since. Hopefully Seth can dig up something...though Sierra may not like him digging around in this problem."
