Solomon
Sol and Luke were sitting in a North American styled bar with chicken wings in front of them. Sol had to admit that he was a little too hungry for simply those to suffice, but the burgers they had ordered weren't done yet. Besides, it was clear from the pictures that they wouldn't be very large.
That's bars for you, an actual burger would probably not give them as much profit as tiny ones.
There was something with bars and finger-food. Not that he minded, it worked well with the drinks, beer from glass-bottles. Sol had intended to go for whatever sounded familiar, but Luke had insisted they got some fancy beer from Europe -German or Danish or something- making a remark about American beer being watered out and bland. Sol didn't particularly care, he supposed Luke had a point, but he wasn't that picky. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and Luke was chatting about home, talking about spending vacations in Poland to visit half of his family, and then going to the Alps every Easter for skiing. All while checking the calendar for the next fullmoon, of course. Sol could tell the other a little about the Alps, he had been there for a particularly... strange job, but he decided against it, there was something comforting in hearing the other talk about his family.
Must be a strong family. Not that it's surprising, he said his parents learned to deal with werewolf-curse rather quickly.
Most would probably have put the kid up for adoption, which was... understandable, perhaps. Sol took another chicken wing, and started chewing on it when Luke smiled to him, a bit awkwardly. It was pretty clear that the other wasn't used to talking a lot.
"Oh, anyways, how about you? Did you ever go anywhere as a child?" Sol swallowed his food and took more than a sip of beer, before talking.
"Well, I did go to New York once, when I was eight. It was cold, I spent most of it wearing about five layers of clothes," he chuckled, it had been during the winter, someone had decided they should celebrate New Years Eve with an old friend of their mother. Being from California, it had been quite the change in temperature. With that, he wasn't quite sure what else to say, Sol didn't want to talk to much about his family life.
Luckily, he saw an opportunity to change the topic, with a rather red-faced waitress walking away from someone. Viktor and Will, though it made him wonder just what they had done. With a smirk, he caught their attention with a wave, then looked at Luke, pointing towards the two others.
"What is it?" Luke asked, and looked over at where Sol was pointing. Upon seeing them, Luke looked nervous, embarrassed even, and he almost hid behind Sol's shoulder as Sol motioned for Vik and Will to join them.
"They're part of the team I'm currently in, they're cool," he told the other, who didn't seem that much more comforted by it. "Of course, they might not even come over here, so don't worry. Besides, I don't think either of those two hang with your bros, so they won't find out." He grabbed Luke's hand underneath the table, rubbing it carefully.
I suppose it was a bit thoughtless. Or at least a bit too sudden.
Sometimes it surprised him to what lengths he would go to avoid to talk about topics he didn't care for.
"It's fine, I guess. If they come over," Luke muttered, and Sol smiled brightly.

Lenah
"Half demons are like full demons. They're demonic presence is part of them, and not something you just 'remove' with out killing them, and sealing it generally just leads to a coma like state. Sierra, how ever, is just asleep, purely human, but asleep, which shouldn't be possible, but here she is. I can think of a couple with the magical power theoretically needed to pull this off, they why ether would bother, is another matter. For now, since you volunteered, Lenah, keep an eye on her and contact me the minute she wakes up, and tell Sol we'll need to have a talk about his status sooner rather then later."
Lenah stuck her tongue out. "You can tell Sol himself, I'm not a phone." However, she did send a message. Whether he would see it now that the emergency was figured out was another question, Sol wasn't exactly the best at checking his phone when he wasn't waiting for a message or a call. With Seth gone, Lenah paced back and forth. What a mystery indeed. As Mira spoke, she stopped, only paying attention.
"Umm...i guess it seems that there is something else going on. If Sierra was attacked in here, then wouldn't she show more signs of being attacked other than a missing presence, like more wounds or something? And Seth thinks that it may be someone else who took her presence besides those that attacked her...at least, thats what i got from that. It makes some sense i suppose since the ones who put her in here probably wouldn't try to take something like that non-lethally. Hmm...if the bodies i saw being taken away are involved in this, i guess...maybe her attackers came to finish the job only to be killed by this third party who then took her presence? It could explain why else the nurse would think that she was attacked, instead of say, lossing it due to surgery or some failing health or the like i guess, but if the bodies aren't connected... I have no idea what's going on.
I'm sorry that i can't give you much in the way of answers Lenah, i just learned of this right before our first training mission and i haven't learned of much since. Hopefully Seth can dig up something...though Sierra may not like him digging around in this problem."
"It's fine, I don't think Seth has much of an idea either. As for a battle... I haven't heard anything, you'd think a battle would be heard... unless some guy snuck in?" Lenah said as she went for the window, looking for any traces of a break in or someone entering through the window. She was mostly whispering, a hospital room was a hospital room, after all.
"I mean, as Seth said, there's some guys who can do this kind of thing, so if they entered her room after she got to the hospital and sealed her presence or whatever... well, they'd have a good opportunity, don't you think so? With Sierra knocked out after a surgery, and with the mediocre security they have at this hospital, I'd not be surprised. Besides, the bodies is from when she was attacked before, I think... Sol only wrote the main stuff."
She went from the window to the most open spot in the room. "Of course, there's ways to enter a hospital room apart from through a door or window, we're in a school with supernatural beings... speaking of which." Lenah tilted her head.
"Wasn't there some guy who came her with Sierra? Who had helped out? I'd ask him for information, but I was told to stay inside, and I always do as I'm told," she gave the other a wink, making it clear that it wasn't going to stop her if she deemed it necessary.
"Besides, perhaps this is mean, well, yes, it definitely is, but I... Well, if this stranger who helped Sierra out was there to make sure that the fight didn't take it too far, then came back with her to the hospital to wait for her surgery to be finished so that he could... you know, steal her demonic presence. It's just an idea, of course, but perhaps keep an eye out for suspicious stuff, if you end up talking to him." She rubbed her side, it was beginning to ache from her pacing back and forth. Through both magical and non-magical means -as well as time, a lot of lying around-, the broken ribs had been mended, but they were still bruised.
"Anyways, I'll be here, I'll let people know when Sierra wakes up." She smiled friendly. "I'm sure it won't take too long."
Still, does this mean she's not a half demon anymore?
