Once everyone had been checked out and given an initial all clear, they reconvened with Daughtry's team, who looked severely more beat up, especially with one poor fellow in a wheelchair and another standing on crutches, but they appeared to be in good enough spirits. Shortly after that they headed through another gate and arrived back at Gato; where they were met by Seth, Daughtry, several members of Gungir staff, additional medics, and Sierra, who looked to be in fine fettle.

"You're lucky you didn't have to go on this mission. So stressful. Now, excuse me, I'm going to see if I can do something productive. You guys... Said Solomon, absently gesturing towards everyone else "...should probably go drink or something."

A drink doesn't sound like a bad idea... especially given what has happened. But first, things that need to be done.

With that in mind, Daniel departed from the arrivals area to send off a brief field report to back home, giving them a status update on what had happened. He suggested to them to keep the Argartha Gates closed for the time being, except in emergency situations, in case those that were dealing with Lucifer proper failed. Once that was over and he stowed his gear away, he pondered what to do next.

The thought of following up Sol's idea of having a drink was tempting, but given how late it was, Daniel wasn't feeling particularly up to it. Sleep was always a good idea, but he didn't feel tired enough to warrant it at the moment. Then the thought occurred to him that he hadn't read in a while, aside from the mission briefings but those didn't technically count. So he went off towards the campus library to do that.

Eventually they were released and escorted to the other team before finally heading back to Gato, much to Mira's joy. Overall, she didn't want to see that place again...still, perhaps she wasn't giving it a fair shake. She was pretty sure that her mind was just associating all that she had just been through as everything the demon realm could offer and she acknowledged that as wrong...but, it's not like she would be willing to go to helI for vacation or to experience the culture. After all, the next visit she had would probably be due to another mission in which they would face even worse so while she had no intention of just labeling the place as horrible, she really didn't see any other chance to change that view.

Regardless, they were finally home. Besides, she didn't actually know when her next visit to that place would be, so why stress it now? She should just be glad she was back in one piece, which, as she got out from their ride back, she was. They told the team that they were free to do as they wanted and to get some rest, which Mirabelle was just about ready to do. Of course, She still meant to talk to Tomas...but considering that he was making a beeline to go rest himself, she figured that it was better to wait until tomorrow.

Still, that idea for a weapon...her mind wouldn't let go of it, like a sailor holding onto some floating debris from a wrecked ship for fear of it floating away. Maybe it was best to take steps and make sure she didn't forget it through the night, probably as a blueprint or a sketch.

Looking to Sierra, she pulled out the transforming weapon, reformed into a rod that she could store in her bag, and transformed it back into it's hammer state, saying, "We got these on our trip. Figured that you would want to check one out. Besides, I don't think it suits me and it's too...malleable for my tastes. Maybe it could work as a backup but I think I'd rather make a weapon for myself instead."

"You guys should probably go drink or something."

"...Seriously, what is it with everyone and alcohol? I feel like i'm missing something here...anyways, I'm going to head off to my room and unload. I have too many things on me that could pose a health hazard so it's probably best if I get rid of those safely as soon as possible. Bye."

And with that, she headed off to get rid of her stuff, jot down her idea, and relax for a bit.

The bar Juliet had found was full of noise and color, people danced on the open floor, in one corner some people embarrassed themselves doing karaoke, and all throughout people were talking and enjoying themselves. Juliet herself sat by the bar far enough from the dance floor that she could hear people talking over the music and noise of the crowd. She'd already had a couple drinks, courtesy of a few individuals vying for her attention.

Meanwhile, Sol and Luke had gone from the dorm party to the bar, both intending to get some time alone and because Sol had decided it was time to up the amount of drinking a little, most of the party-goers had gone on to bars after a while either way. It wasn't every day he got to survive fighting satan, and he was sure to celebrate.

It was after having a couple of shots he suddenly had a rather amusing idea, and thought it was difficult talking Luke into it at first, making a rather risque promise helped his case, finally making the other allow it. It was just a silly thing, something Sol wanted to do just to try it out.

"I promise you, I can totally do it."

"And I told you, it's fine. Just..." Luke made a gesture with his hand, trying to make it mean something before chuckling, drunkenly. "Geddit over with."

"I'll take so many pictures," Sol said, and stood up, leaning on the crutches, if he was going to do this he needed something to actually use. In the corner of his eye, he spotted Juliet.

"Oh, hey, perfect. She'll have some. I think..." he smirked, warmly, and made his way over to her, surprisingly graciously for a man on crutches and clearly too much alcohol in his system.

"Hey, Juliet!"

Juliet was surprised to see Sol, along with a man she assumed to be his boyfriend, particularly since a club was typically no place for someone using crutches.

"Sol, good to see you up and about," she said then glanced over at Luke "and who is this you're with?"

"Oh, that's Luke," he said. "He's my boyfriend, though, don't tell people. Not that it matters, I'm sure it's pretty obvious either way, but ya know. It's a little... to him. Anyhow, I was gonna ask you..." his expression turned mischevious. "You wouldn't happen to have makeup on you, right? I need to borrow some."

"I've got some in my purse," she said, raising an eyebrow "why?"

"Oh, don't worry, I'm not going to ruin it, and I'll make sure to wash it. Believe it or not, I know how to use it. I," he glanced at Luke, who waved nervously back. "I'm going to put makeup on Luke. Because why the fuck not, I'm drunk, he's drunk, and he'd be adorable. Not like a girl, god no, but I mean. How often do you get the chance to put makeup on a werewolf?" He looked back at Juliet. "Oh, and you can join, if you'd want to."

She laughed at this "Sure you can borrow it, I think I'll pass on joining though, doesn't sound like my thing," she said, digging a make up kit out of her purse and handing it to him, she smirked "send me some pictures afterwards, I want to know how it turns out."

"Sure," he smirked. "If Luke agrees." He looked through her kit, and smirked. "This will be interesting." Sol was about to walk away, when he remembered something. Raising an eyebrow, his tone shifted to a more serious one. He made sure no one around them were paying attention, then addressed her.

"Oh. Right. Juliet, I don't know what you were doing in the demon realm, but I know that it wasn't right. With the way you focused on the other demon, the one not our target, referring to it as a traitor. Call it instinct." He leaned on the crutches, looking almost relaxed where he stood. "Honestly though, I don't know what you were planning, and I don't know what you're planning to do with it. However, I don't particularly care either. Demon politics are demon politics, they interest me even less than normal politics, so don't worry about me going around telling people, I don't see a reason to. Only..."

He jerked his head towards Luke. "I've found something I want to protect at this school, something precious to me. And I'm not just talking about Luke. Threaten this place, and we'll have an issue, okay?" he smiled, locking eyes with her. Behind the friendly, drunken part of them, there was a sort of deviousness and calm that suggested he was less laidback than he seemed.

Juliet was somewhat surprised by the sudden shift in tone, but she managed to smile and nod.

"Don't worry, that was old business from before I came up here," she said "I'm sorry I got distracted by revenge, but trust me it won't come to bite us here."

"Good, anyhow, gotta go, else Luke will wonder why I'm spending so much time and change his mind. Thanks for this." He winked, before loudly -damn crutches were difficult to use with something in your hand- walking over to Luke again, showing him the makeup and starting to put it on. None of the people around them were paying any attention either way, and the light wasn't that bad. Sol wasn't quite ready to let go of his suspicions just yet, but he wasn't going to hassle Juliet.

I'll just have to keep my eye out.

No need to be a bastard about it, after all. Could be nothing, and then he'd look like a jerk.

Juliet kept smiling as Sol walked away, they look cute together, she noted before her thoughts turned to Sol's comment. Was he suspicious of her? If so he had a weird way of expressing it, almost as though he was but didn't care at the same time. Maybe I should keep an eye on him, or at least tread more carefully around him... She had perhaps overextended her hand in the demon realms when it came to fighting Ruk but it had worked out well enough on the whole. Not like he has anything to worry about right now anyways, with Ruk dead I've got no orders until Ansoth contacts me.

Her thoughts were interrupted by another offer to buy her a drink, she smiled and accepted, the night was still young and she was hungry, there would be time enough to concern herself with such things later.

This post brought to you by Athol, Lunar and the letter 7

The weapon Mirabelle showed off did interest Sierra, but Mira, and really every one, seemed more interested just going off and chilling then grouping up and celebrating. She sighed and just headed back to the dorm. She was trying to psyche herself up for some personal projects she'd had to put on the back burner, but just couldn't, she wanted to hang out with the others and do something not sit hunched over a table right now.

She as she walked past Viktor's room though, she paused, and thought 'screw it' Viktor wouldn't likely need the same decompression time as the others, and she did want to know what happened, so, she gave a knock on his door.

Flaked out on his bed, Viktor had his laptop propped up in his knees, and was just about to start the next episode of Top Gear when someone knocked on his door. probably William or Sol? He thought as he got up and padded over to the door.

"What can I d-" He stopped himself mid-sentence as he opened the door to his room and saw Sierra of all people. "Well you're not who I was expecting." He said finally, propping himself against the door frame. "What can I do for you Miss Talon." Sierra Talon?sounds like the name of a villain from a bad '80s American action movie.

"I get that a lot lately, ether cause I was supposed to in bed still or cause they don't know I'm free of those head ache inducing rooms, anyway, I desire social interaction, and I get the distinct impression every one else would rather be left alone for now, but since your an old hand at these dangerous missions, I figure your my best option." Sierra replied. "The irony of that is not lost on me ether."

Viktor chuckled a bit and his lips curled in a half smirk, before getting a bit serious. "To that end, I had some words with Juliet a few days ago, and she made me realize I was being unfair to both of you. I've had issues with demons in the past, but that's no reason to tar you or her with the same brush.? He fell silent for a moment before running a hand over the scarred side of his face. "Anyways?what did you have in mind? I was just sitting and watching some Top Gear."

"Well I could be guilty of the same, I guess. Not had any good interrelations with vampires in the past, can't say I've been given any reason to alter that opinion ether." she said, though vane him a quizzical look, one that said 'Top Gear?', clearly not having been exposed to ether version in the past.

"You're American correct?" He asked. "Unfortunately many of the New World clans do not follow the same rules and codes of behavior that most of the Old World clans do; as for my own part, I apologize again. I just hope, that should you meet others from my clan you won't hold my actions against them." Seeing Sierra's puzzled expression, he brightened up a bit. "Top Gear is a British car show. Three men, two of which are forty going on eighteen and one who?s forty going on ninety, messing about in supercars."

"Ah, a 'guy show'." She pondered a moment "Sure, why not." she replied, and waited to be let in. "Hows that? I would have thought Vlad or another like him would keep the reigns tight on problematic clans? Or dose the 'Old World' just not really care about the 'New World' much?"

Stepping back to let her in, he shifted what little furniture there was in the room, freeing up the chair for her while he sat on his bed. Setting up the computer so they could both get a decent view of the screen, he sighed a bit before answering.

"There are some who are fine with just ignoring things, but the bulk of the clans would prefer to keep a tighter rein on things; the problem is the New World clans have broke with us and refuse to acknowledge even Lord Tepes or Lady Bathory's authority, despite the fact that she?s most likely living in America. The only way we could make them follow our rules would be with force, and there would be no way to hide such actions from the humans. The best we can do is provide information, when we find it, to either government bodies who most likely hire someone like Solomon, or organizations like the Vatican's Section Thirteen or the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense."

"It's far from perfect, but it's better than the general panic that would ensue otherwise; and we vampires do not have the numbers to survive forever in a war against humanity as a whole."

Sierra thanked Viktor for the chair and took a seat. "Sounds pretty suicidal to tell your races 'god king' and 'god queen' to go fuck them selves. Even I'm not that stupid and I have no reason to give ether the time of day. Still, they should be trying to do something more then just 'letting some one else' handle it." Sierra said.

"Though what I don't know, I dragged most my 'problems' into Limbo and killed them, or just killed them where they stood. Which isn't really better given some of the collateral damage."

"Ah, but you are just dealing with problems of an individual." He said, starting the play back. "This is a problem between groups, which means ... politics." The last word came off his tongue like it'd left a bad taste in his mouth. "If things get really bad, the New clans can always just disavow the actions of the guilty individuals. Lord Tepes prefers to not be as heavy handed as he once was, and in doing so that shackles how he or any of the ?Old? clans can act. Lady Bathory is an unknown; nobody outside of her House has seen her in centuries and there's a persistent rumor that only one other member of her House knows where she is at all."

He was just about to lean back against the wall his bed was up against, when he sat up straight. "Where are my manors, would you care for a drink?" Reaching under his bedside table he brought up a mostly full bottle of clear liquid. "Vodka, from our own distilleries."

The Next Day

The next day, both teams where called to into a team meaning, primarily to debrief every one on what happened after they left for home. Amusingly, Seth seemed a bit hung over from last night as well as a few other people. Seems 'going out and drinking' was peoples preferred method of unwinding.

Sierra just sat and waited for it to start, partly curious on how things turned out, partly to see what the plan was going forward. Karis was there as well, sitting in the back, and just waiting to for the start of the meeting as well.

"I trust every one isn't to hung over from last night" Daughtry started while Seth drank something to help his hang over. "First order of business; The mission was a success, Lucifer has been slain, and his soul divided and imprisoned. So in theory, he shouldn't be a problem again for a long time, if at all. Next; The stolen Vampire artifacts have been secured and, I believe at this point are ether en rout back to their respective houses."

Seth then spoke up. "And I have confirmed this through my own sources, the ring should be arriving at House Bathory and Lord Tepes should be getting his sword with in the hour." After that, Seth and Daughtry 'talked shop' a bit, most notably was Sierra being removed from the 'active roster' and put into the 'reserve roster', the other notable thing was further train was going to be delayed a few days while they sorted out a change in personnel as they'd recent had some one come on board far more qualified then who they currently had.

The Next Day

Morning:

Sol woke up after Luke, who was watching something on his laptop, wearing earphones so that he wouldn't disturb Sol's sleep. Sol smirked, the other hadn't noticed him yet.

I should peek at what he's looking at.

However, as he stretched his legs a sudden and extremely painful feeling appeared in his right leg, causing him to curl back up.

"Ow, fuck," he whispered, remembering the injury. Then he remembered parts of the night, the rest of it was rather blurry. There was a feeling in the back of his mind, the one that told him that standing up would make him more than a little queasy.

How much did I have? I can't remember...

He grabbed Luke's hand and wanted to get back in bed -even as he knew he shouldn't- closing his eyes as the other finally took his headphones off.

"You look like you should rest a little longer. I'm going to head out in an hour or so, but you can go back to sleep." Sol groaned, he didn't want to wake up alone. Forcing himself to sit up, he shook his head.

"No, I'm... I'm fine. Probably gonna drink a beer or two, though. You know, hair of the dog." Luke nodded, looking at him thoughtfully.

"Yeah, okay, if you want to do that. Only... I've been wanting to do something for a while. It might sound weird, but hear me out."

"Huh? Yeah, sure, of course," Sol said, getting a little closer. "Don't be shy."

"Well, I've been drinking a lot more than I used to ever since I got back to school, and it's getting a little too much for me, especially around the full moon. I'm thinking of completely avoiding drinking for a couple of weeks, perhaps a month."

"Oh? I don't really think you drink a lot, but, I mean, it's your choice. It's not like you're going to suffer from it, and it's sensible. I'll miss you at the bar, though." He chuckled, though Luke didn't seem to loosen up much apart from a slight smile.

"Actually... I was hoping you'd do it with me. You're older and more mature than me, and if anyone's going to manage it, it's you. Besides, it would be easier to ignore the pressure from the other guys if I had someone else to support me, and I care more about what you think. Please, Sol? You joining me in this would really help."

Sol looked at him with a puzzled look, but nodded, slowly. "Uh, yeah, I suppose so." He looked away a little, needing to think it through without Luke's stunningly blue eyes scanning him.

I suppose I should be able to manage that. Only for a couple of weeks, right? Besides, Luke is younger than me, I should be a good role model.

He smiled. "Sure, I'll go dry with you." He overcame the temptation to snicker at the second meaning that sentence could have, before continuing. "I assume that means from now on? If so, I'm going to need a lot of water, and, I dunno, a burger or something."

Luke beamed as he replied. "Yep. From this very second. Thanks a lot, Sol," he leaned over and gave Sol a big hug. "I knew I could count on you."

Later:

Sol hadn't been surprised when he had been called in for a meeting, though he was relieved that he had already gotten his ankle x-rayed and gotten a bottle of painkillers. The bad news was that there really was a broken bone in there, with the good news being that it was the "least bad" bone. Technically, he could walk on it like normal, if he wanted a lot of pain and risking making it worse. He decided to go with crutches, he had climbed up a stone wall without using his legs, surely he could live for a while without the use of one of them. With the technology and knowledge of the medics at the school, it would be fine in about 3 weeks, more if he made it worse.

So I'm going to go with the safe option. Unless it hinders a mission, of course.

It was with a cast on his ankle and a pair of crutches that he took seat in the room with the team meeting, making sure to take the most comfortable seat he could find. He probably surprised some of the others, as he likely looked a lot worse today than he had when they were done with the mission. As Seth and Daughtry went on about the mission and the details from that, he got the water bottle Luke had brought him earlier and read the label on the bottle of pills.

Fairly strong ones, take two, don't drive or operate heavy machinery. Got it.

He heard talk about Lucifer being slain and stolen Vampire artefacts being on their way home, and noted it in the back of his mind as he shifted in his seat. Then came the boring matter of fact things about who was where and training. At the mention of training, Sol quickly raised both his hurt ankle and his hand, waiting for the two to stop talking like some child in school. He felt a little petty, with the hangover still hanging over him.

"Excuse me. Doctor says not to strain the ankle for at least 3 weeks, and that includes walking on it. Seems I'll have to miss group training, but don't worry, I will make sure to keep myself fit on my own accord. I'm glad everyone else is fine, though." There was an unafraid -though still charming and friendly- smirk on his face, Sol wasn't going to hide that he was pleased over not being able to go through training again.

"Oh, also, Seth. I need to talk to you when there's the chance. It's important."

"I trust every one isn't to hung over from last night"

Haven?t had a hangover in seventy or so years? Viktor thought idly as he watched some of the other obviously suffering the effects. Can?t say I miss it.

"First order of business; the mission was a success, Lucifer has been slain and his soul divided and imprisoned. So in theory, he shouldn't be a problem again for a long time, if at all. Next; the stolen Vampire artifacts have been secured and, I believe at this point are ether en-route back to their respective houses."

?Let?s hope he stays dead this time.? He muttered. The second part made him grimace a bit, but there wasn?t anything he could do. Well I guess that?s my part done? Part of him was still dubious that the demons would keep their word, but if what Daughtry was saying was true, he?d be getting a recall sooner rather than later.

"And I have confirmed this through my own sources, the ring should be arriving at House Bathory and Lord Tepes should be getting his sword within the hour."

He shifted his attention to Seth as the demon spoke, and couldn?t help but smirk a bit at his words. I told them Lord Tepes would probably find out about the theft before we could recover the blade and put it back on lockdown?I think Ohla agreed with me?I just wish I could see the looks on their faces when they get the word from House Tepes. He knew nothing bad would happen to them or Clan Yurchenko because of this, but so many of the Elders were so concerned about ?appearances?, that this loss of face (it their eyes) would be utterly embarrassing.

A rhythmic ?thumping? sound caught his ear, and turning to look, he say Sol limp into the room on crutches. Seriously? He thought. They couldn?t send him to one of the healers to fix that? Seeing the smile on the hunter?s face, Viktor smirked and chuckled softly to himself. Unless he?s using the ankle as any excuse to play ?Doctor? with that puppy of his?

As the others began to discuss personnel reassignments, he began making mental preparations for returning home, and what he had to do once he got there.

William

At the meeting

William was quietly listening to the meeting as they went over what happen. Glad to hear that their efforts payed off at the end. Lightly smiling to himself though frown when he heard that Sierra was moving from active to reserve roosters. Lifting his right hand upwards as he ask "um...Why is Sierra doing that? or why are you doing that?" He asked, not sure why she would do that, or them. She only missed one mission, and while it was important, shouldn't be held against her.

Tomas

Tomas was feeling a better today then he was during the fight. After a good night rest without anything disturbing him, he felt like a young drake once more. He was till in his dragon form, he was planning on getting one of those glamores to hide his new form until he able to regain it back once more.

Listening to the whole conversation as he nods at the success of the mission. Surprise about that since they were still college students who just took up the job that was recently made. Though looking at this room, he smiled, glad to have a team like this. While he had doubts about them before, this was proving to be a good thing.

Listening more as he heard about Sierra, wondering about that himself before William beat everyone to the punch and asked.

Juliet woke feeling much refreshed, filled with the revitalizing energy of the life force she'd vigorously claimed the night before flowing through her along new conduits created by her recently claimed power. She wondered if her new powers would increase her appetite, she'd heard tales of succubi so powerful they could not feed without killing their partner, though she had always passed off those stories as being of succubi so powerful that they cared not if they killed their partner. Besides her control over how much she could take had not changed though she would admit her most recent partner would likely be sleeping soundly for a solid day as his body recovered from the pleasures of the night before, and snoring loudly all the while no doubt.

Certainly he didn't wake as she got out of bed, dressing herself and making her way back to her room where she showered and changed into clothing more suited for the meeting. After last night she was in quite a good mood, she only hoped the meeting didn't ruin it.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Fortunately the meeting was nothing but good news, Lucy had been put down again, something was said about the stuff Viktor was looking for, and they would even have a break in training. Sierra was also apparently being moved to another roster, but that hardly bothered Juliet.

"um...Why is Sierra doing that? or why are you doing that?"

"I bet it has something to do with how she got injured a while back," she said "she probably hasn't fully healed, or maybe Karis wants to personally train her or something."

she shrugged, "At any rate I think we should throw a celebration," she said, smiling brightly "we survived the demon realms, our mission was a success, and it seems like we'll have some free time off from training!"

"I'd like to, she's got some rather glaring holes in her stance, and her swings, but given she was just 'remembering' what the moves where, I've seen far worse. But no, her injury or some special training isn't why she's being moved" Karis said as Sierra glared it him, effectively forcing the issue. "Though she's not the only one that has something she needs to tell every one." Karis added as his gaze turned toward Daniel. "Normally I wouldn't give much Lucy says much weight, 'Lord of Lies' and all, but given the response it got from the PI we've picked up recently, I thought it prudent to clear the air before going to much further."

"I'm being transferred to the reserve because I took a job for Queen Riviera. Specifically, her archeology department." Sierra started, and then explained how the Demon Realm has ruins that predate even Lucifer's arrival and how some of them are sealed with a sort of 'magic barometric lock' of sorts and how oddly none of the 'keys' to these 'locks' have been found among the residents of the Demon Realm, and instead have found them on Earth, sometimes, like in her case, multiple 'keys' for the same lock.

"And these ruins, apparently, make use of the same 'runes' found on the ammo recovered in an earlier op, so it's something we'd needed to have learned about anyway." Sierra added, answering the question that was coming before it was asked, though she did leave out the bits about what she, personally, is getting out of this deal though, since it's not really important they know.

"After the meting is fine. I don't have anything on the planner for a few hours. We can talk then." Seth said, replying to Sol before, what he presumed to be Daniel replying to Karis.

Mirabelle focused on the meeting as best she could, trying to stop her mind from wandering too much. She was starting to be disturbed by how increasingly hard it was to listen through a full meeting without wandering off, even if it was on relevant tangents. Still, she wanted to stay on track this time and actually listen.

Daughtry went over the most important stuff first, Lucifer was defeated, vampire artifacts being returned, stuff like that. Still, the most interesting things he said included Sierra and someone new coming in. While Sierra moving to the reserve seemed natural (and worrying since Lenah was also there and they both tended towards more...rebelious actions), she was concerned about who they were bringing on for their future training. Mostly due to how well both the person and the team would be able to get along...and for her own personal focus. She still knew from the mission that she had a lot she needed to work on when it came to close quarters, having been given a reminder from the knight that nearly took her apart, enchantments and coatings be damned. She got a hard lesson about how her recommended defences still wouldn't cut it, making her worried about of this new teacher could train her properly or not. She couldn't always be lucky or resourceful, she needed to actually be trained.

Rejoining the conversation, she heard Will ask what she considered to be a good question. After all, even if the event itself made sense to her, it would be good to know why.

"um...Why is Sierra doing that? or why are you doing that?"

"I bet it has something to do with how she got injured a while back, she probably hasn't fully healed, or maybe Karis wants to personally train her or something."

"I'd like to, she's got some rather glaring holes in her stance, and her swings, but given she was just 'remembering' what the moves where, I've seen far worse. But no, her injury or some special training isn't why she's being moved. Though she's not the only one that has something she needs to tell every one.

What he was implying set her on edge, as well as annoyed her. They had already just gotten off of a tough mission. They should be resting, not trying to force bombshells...still, she payer attention, concerned.

Normally I wouldn't give much Lucy says much weight, 'Lord of Lies' and all, but given the response it got from the PI we've picked up recently, I thought it prudent to clear the air before going to much further."

Clear the air...why did she feel like something bad was going to happen? She just knew a fight was coming from the way Karis said that, though she hoped that it was just words and nothing physical.

Luckily Sierra spoke up next, giving some time for Daniel to not say anything too easily. She listened in on Sierra's explanation about her new job in the demon realm, finding it odd that she would take such a job from beings that she so terribly disliked a month ago but believing that she had a good reason, most likely due to the bullet part. She just hoped that her friend was adequitly prepared for it...but seeing if she was or not would have to wait for now. She turned her attention back to Karis and Daniel, waiting for the resulting fight to start, softly saying to Juliet, "...we may want to hold of on the party planning for a moment."

Daniel kept himself quiet as he listened to the morning meeting; breathing a small sigh of relief as the news was given that Lucifer had been locked back up, though something still bothered him. It was that, why hadn't Zaqiel shown up when their brother was brought back; surely she would want to see how her contribution paid off? Perhaps her loyalty towards the demons was just another ruse, but such theories could wait for now.

Sierra's public announcement of her working for Queen Riviera regarding the runes brought about information that was new to him; the fact that it was connected to those bullets recovered earlier, which in turn meant Regalia was certainly interesting.

"Though she's not the only one that has something she needs to tell every one." Karis added at the end as he gazed over towards Daniel.

"Normally I wouldn't give much Lucy says much weight, 'Lord of Lies' and all, but given the response it got from the PI we've picked up recently, I thought it prudent to clear the air before going to much further." Daniel returned Karis's gaze with one of his own.

"[sub]...we may want to hold of on the party planning for a moment.[/sub]"

"No need to be concerned Miss Mirabelle." Daniel said with roguish smile as he rose from the chair he had been sat in.

"I aim to keep this quite civil." He then walked over to the front of the meeting room before turning to face everyone.

"Karis is right, I should probably clear a few things with you all before we as a group proceed any further. I've not been entirely honest with regards to who, or rather what I am. Though to be fair, at the time I first arrived it wasn't the business of any of you to know. I had hoped to keep it that way. But recent developments have changed things."

"When Lucifer said brother, he knew that another Angel was present. That Angel being me."

Sol didn't want to be rude to Sierra, yet he couldn't help but stifle a yawn as she spoke. She was talking about Demon archaeology, as if either of those things weren't too dull on their own.

"After the meting is fine. I don't have anything on the planner for a few hours. We can talk then."

"Hm?" Sol said, giving away the fact that he hadn't really been paying attention. With a wry expression, he spoke in an amused tone. "That's fine, darling, I will make sure not to use more than a couple of hours. Unless, of course, you want to enjoy my company, though I suppose my boyfriend would be kinda upset." He winked, though nothing in his body language indicated that he was even taking it seriously.

Then, suddenly, it was Daniel's time to talk, this time to everyone.

"I aim to keep this quite civil. Karis is right, I should probably clear a few things with you all before we as a group proceed any further. I've not been entirely honest with regards to who, or rather what I am. Though to be fair, at the time I first arrived it wasn't the business of any of you to know. I had hoped to keep it that way. But recent developments have changed things. When Lucifer said brother, he knew that another Angel was present. That Angel being me."

Sol raised an eyebrow. He realized that he hadn't ever really thought of Daniel as a human, or at least a normal one. He had just assumed the guy was some sort of monster. Then again, so far he had met one human on the school, and he wouldn't call Will quite normal.

No offence, Will. I happen to think your abilities are pretty cool. This is quite the surprise, though.

Not exactly shock, he felt. Perhaps he had just gone past the point of being shocked. Or perhaps it was because he believed everyone was entitled to keeping their past exactly that, past. That regardless of what one happened to be.

"That's fine," Sol said, and stretched, barely keeping one of the crutches from being pushed out from his lap as he did.

"I've stopped paying attention to who is what or why. I'm more than concerned enough with what's going on here on earth. I mean, I'm religious, but I never was into the whole "angels are the heralds of the lord" thing either way, so you not telling us is cool in my book. Oh, but if anyone else wants to feel betrayed, go ahead, I'm only speaking on my own behalf, but personally, I think it's fine hiding the parts you don't want people to know. Expecting to get someone's life story served up is just plain uncivilized, and gentlemen and ladies like us don't engage in such uncouth behaviour, I'd hope."

Sol crossed the crutches across his lap and motioned as a way to tell the others he was done voicing his opinion. Perhaps it was useless, but he figured letting Daniel know he didn't mind the secrets was the nice thing to do.

"Oh is that all?" Juliet said, not bothering to hide her smugness "I figured that out when we first met."

She shrugged "Not sure what the big deal is really, we're all freaks of some sort or another," she paused then added "except Sol I suppose."

She doubted any of the others would care much, some might have questions she supposed. She doubted Viktor would care, unless he'd also had a bad experience dating an angel, and he was probably the most paranoid of the group. After Sol's speech she doubted there would even be too many questions.

"So now that that's out of the way who's interested in the party?"

Viktor had stopped really listening to the conversation around him as he made some mental check lists for his return. Movement on the other hand did catch his attention, especially when it was Daniel, somebody he figured would not want to be drawing a lot on attention to themselves.

"When Lucifer said brother, he knew that another Angel was present. That Angel being me."

Well that cat is out of the bag it seems. He thought, looking about the room. To his mild surprise, no one looked too shocked about Daniel?s revelation; he?d been expecting at least some annoyance from the demons present, but the mostly seemed to not care?Juliet even seemed slightly amused.

"Not sure what the big deal is really, we're all freaks of some sort or another, except Sol I suppose. So now that that's out of the way who's interested in the party?"

?I don?t know,? He replied with a grin, waving a meaty arm at the assembled mass. ?He seems to keep company with some damned shady individuals. As to your question? I?m game. I?ve had word of a fun sounding place not too far from here, and I?ve been wanting to re-test to see if a vampire can get drunk. Been trying without success for seventy some odd years, but who knows? Maybe I?ll get lucky this time.? He added with a grin.

Of course, now they're going to have a party.

"I don't know. He seems to keep company with some damned shady individuals. As to your question? I'm game. I've had word of a fun sounding place not too far from here, and I've been wanting to re-test to see if a vampire can get drunk. Been trying without success for seventy some odd years, but who knows? Maybe I'll get lucky this time."

Sol grinned. "Would you believe you guys are only the second shadiest individuals I have kept company with?" he asked, not at all intending to elaborate on the statement. Not like they needed to know about the criminals and addicts he'd been forced to hang out with.

"I'd love to party... but I just promised a certain someone to go dry with him -right now that means keeping away from alcohol for a couple of weeks for those with dirty minds- and that means no drinking. Of course, I'm still coming, no drinking and a bit of a hangover be damned. Because if I don't, then that one thing that's going to be epic, and that everyone's going to be referencing for weeks, is going to happen. And then I'll feel really left out." He fixed his scarf and put his hat on, his expression simply amused.

"And then I can be there for all your sober needs, like checking out if that girl or guy really is that hot, hold your drink while you go powder your face and put some more makeup on-" he gestured towards Vik "And spend enough time looking miserable for someone to buy me coke -as in, the drink, drugs are bad kids- and some food. I mean, I do have a broken ankle." Sol lifted his leg again.

"So, that's Juliet, Vik and me, anyone else feeling like having some bonding time?" he said, and looked towards the others, gauging reactions. If he had been a bit more mischievous, he'd start calling people out by name.

Juliet laughed "I'd like to see that," she said, grinning broadly "Maybe we could even make a contest out of it."

It wasn't as if she became drunk easily after all, in spite of her size, besides such a competition could be fun even if she lost. She had to admit that she was a bit surprised Viktor was so easily on board with the idea though, perhaps his vampiric doodad having been found had caused him to lighten up a bit. That or this was him actually managing to keep to his whole 'not coloring all demons with the same brush'.

"So, that's Juliet, Vik and me, anyone else feeling like having some bonding time?"

"I won't tell anyone if you decide to have a drink or two," she said "either way though I'm sure we'll make it an event to remember, so then who else is on board?"

She glanced back over the others, Thomas and perhaps Daniel seemed the most likely to refuse out of being stuck up. She wasn't sure about Mira and Will might take a bit of persuading to go to any event, but then with her and Viktor going she doubted it would be hard to convince him.

"I feel like I should make a 'Guardian Angel' joke, but nothings coming to me." Sierra said as the meeting came to a close. "But a party sounds good, just so long as it doesn't end with me fighting a big ass demon again, and more cultists, did that already, could do with out doing it it again."

"I've got some things I need to tend to, and a contract to close out so I can move on to the next job." Karis said. "So no party for me." he then got up and started out, stopping Daniel. "Good of you to come clean, but I was more interested in what he meant when he called you a 'thrall'." Karis shrugged. "Later I guess, but for now, see about keeping these kids out of trouble eh?." Karis said facetiously before heading out of the room himself.

Seth got up and motioned for for Sol to follow and directed him to a near by empty room. "So what on your mind 'hop along'?" Seth asked after leaning against the teachers table and Sol get situated.

"I won't tell anyone if you decide to have a drink or two,"

Is that a demon thing or a coincidence?

He wondered, though he shrugged. "Nah, I'd rather someone keep an eye on me, make sure to tell the poor guy if I somehow end up acting like so much of a dick that I would break a promise I made the very same day." He said it with a slightly heavy tone, hinting not so subtly at the fact that offering him a drink would be useless. "But worry not, I am just as fun sober as drunk, or almost, anyhow. And sometimes I'm a little too fun when I drink, so it all balances itself out."

Not long after, Seth motioned for Sol to follow him, and Sol turned to Vik. "You have my number, yeah? If you guys end up leaving before I'm done, tell me where the bar is."

Having taken care of that, he followed Seth inside an empty room, making his way to the closest chair so that he could sit back down. He felt almost lazy there he was, feeling relief that there was a chair inside. It didn't take long for Seth to bring the situation back to the point, though.

"So what on your mind 'hop along'?"

Seth asked, and Sol grinned. "Well, you know. Payment agreement, I need that altered. Attending the school isn't just cutting it. Considering recent events, I've come to realize we need to talk about what I get for this stuff, which is, if you don't mind me saying, not at all enough. No offence, I just am not well equipped to deal with demons, and after blowing off a huge demon's ass, I'm even worse equipped. That spell cost me two grand. Then there's the shielding spells, then there's the fact that I at the very least want a small amount of salary and a bigger bed, like I told you earlier, for being forced to face Satan."

He looked at Seth's expression, shrugging as he continued. "I'm not a super greedy person, but I do like luxury. And I know, I shouldn't have folded so easily the first time. I'm already giving away a lot to stay here, and I choose a year of education rather than getting the money. I mean, I need that too, I need a place to stay an an actual reason to want to work for you. But at this point, I'm risking my life for nothing, facing things that are way out of my expertise, for literally nothing. Had I known this beforehand... I don't really want to die for like, a scholarship. Back in the US, people play football for scholarships, they perform well in school. They don't go risking their lives in a realm where they can't actually go without protection, else they'll get killed. They don't scale huge demons capable of killing you with with their little finger and thousands of volts of electricity."

He crossed his arms again. "Do you get me? Be it a bonus in a form of money for difficult missions like this one, compensation for injuries like this one, or simply the sufficient money to replace what I've spent helping you guys out, is up to you, but I need that bigger bed for comfort. And for sleepovers. You may not know it, but cuddling makes for excellent relaxing, even if it's difficult to sleep."

Both Tomas and William listen to the group talk among each other. Both wondering what kind of things that Sierra got herself into. Though none of them talk after that. Due to how the others sort of jump ship soon after. Letting it go for now as Tomas sighed a little to himself as soon as he heard the word party. William was iffy on the idea, as he didn't know if they should just yet.

Though as the group talk about it more, William was leading on the side of going while Tomas was getting up to leave once the mission was over.

Tomas

"I'm not in the mood for a party..last time we had a 'party' we got attack by cultist and I rather no relive that part of my life again. Though if you should get in trouble do give me a call.." He said as he left the room. Heading back to his room to try and change back to his human form. Wondering if this is some kind of reaction to changing into his full on dragon mode. He would need to see another dragon and ask him but Dragons were hard to find information on and even worst in finding.

Shaking his head as he got into his room and took off the glamore and his body change back into his dragon-kin form. His shiny dark blue scales reflecting the sunlight that was coming through his window. He sat down on the ground and started to do a small meditation, trying to focus on changing into his human form.

William

Watching Tomas leave as William felt eyes on him to hear what he wants. "um..I-I'll join the party." he smile as he did a small chuckle. "Though..i'm not much a alcohol person so..can I have soda while there?" He asked as he hoped they would allow this. "Though..when are we going to have it?"
