"That's fine." Said Solomon as he went on to provide a rather well meaning first response, something that seemed out of character, but was nevertheless appreciated. Juliet meanwhile gave something of smug answer, then again, she had an inkling that Daniel was an Angel when the two first met. The Succubus then followed up with the idea of everyone having a drink which seemed to get a mixed response.

"I feel like I should make a 'Guardian Angel' joke, but nothings coming to me." Remarked Sierra as the meeting began to wind down. "But a party sounds good, just so long as it doesn't end with me fighting a big ass demon again, and more cultists, did that already, could do with out doing it it again."

"That sounds like a story worth sharing Sierra. As for the joke, give it some time, you'll think of one."

"Good of you to come clean, but I was more interested in what he meant when he called you a 'thrall'." Karis said as he approached Daniel. "Later I guess, but for now, see about keeping these kids out of trouble eh?" He then added in jest.

"Much later I feel, such a story would take time to tell. Me? Keep an eye on this lot? That's a tall order." Karis soon left the room to tie up a few loose ends so to speak. Daniel noticed Seth get up from his seat, and motion for Solomon to follow. Judging from what Sol had said earlier, it was possibly going to be another contract negotiation.

Don't push your luck too much Solomon.

"Um..I-I'll join the party." Now this was a surprise from William, he'd always seemed to be the quiet sort; but perhaps this would help to bring him out of his shell a little. "Though..I'm not much a alcohol person so..can I have soda while there?" Sensible choice there lad.

"Though..when are we going to have it?"

"I'd like to know that too. If we're going now, then I'll have to catch you guys up, have to finish up a report for home first. Shouldn't take me too long, an hour tops."

"I'd like to see that, maybe we could even make a contest out of it."

Viktor returned Juliet?s grin with an all too predatory one of his own. ?Oh, that is not a wise decision little one.? He joked. ?But if you think you?re brave enough, I?m certainly game.?

"I feel like I should make a 'Guardian Angel' joke, but nothings coming to me. But a party sounds good, just so long as it doesn't end with me fighting a big ass demon again, and more cultists, did that already, could do without doing it again."

And that makes four; who knows, maybe if we get her drunk enough she?ll actually unwind a bit?not holding my breath though. He thought. Unsurprisingly Karis declined, the merc seemed about as much fun as an old Soviet documentary. The meeting at an end, he watched as Solomon followed after Seth.

"You have my number, yeah? If you guys end up leaving before I'm done, tell me where the bar is."

?Will do. I?ve got a place in mind, so I?ll tell the doorman to expect you.? He called out the injured hunter. Standing, he stretched

"Um...I-I'll join the party. Though...I'm not much an alcohol person so...can I have soda while there? Though...when are we going to have it?"

"I'd like to know that too. If we're going now, then I'll have to catch you guys up, have to finish up a report for home first. Shouldn't take me too long, an hour tops."

And six makes it a party. ?I was thinking we go now; no time like the present as they say.? He replied to Will, standing and stretching as he did. ?Don?t worry about it William, I?m sure we can find you something non-alcoholic.? Reaching into a pocket, he pulled a business card out his wallet and scribbled an address and phone number on the back of it, before handing the card to Daniel. ?That?s the place we?re going, and my cell.? The card was plain white with Viktor?s name, a Kyiv area code phone number, and the words ?Management Consultant? in Ukrainian across the front.

Seth

Seth listened to Sol gripped about pay and how he 'wasn't making enough' for the work he'd done, and Seth could be hard pressed to disagree, truth be told they probably shouldn't have gone but 'woulda shoulda coulda'. So Sol asking for better compensation really wasn't out of the question. It was his tone that annoyed Seth though.

"Really? Your asking a demon, who's got his hands in all kinds of things, both legal and illegal, in both the earth and demons realms, for a 'reason to defend your home realm'." Seth said giving Sol a look of 'really ...' and a short chuckle. "That's a first." he said, then took a drink off his water bottle, he then pulled out a card, wrote something on it, then flicked a card at Sol, a card with a name and Number on it. "Call them, tell them I sent you and you'll be good to go on your 'resources', and for cheaper then who ever you've been going through, and if you use the code written on it you won't need to worry about the cost for that order, it's a one time only code though, so use it wisely. Your medical needs will be met by Gungnir's medical staff, so if your paying for medical attention your just wasting money. As for your 'place', your not entitled to anymore then any other member of the team, but if you want a bigger bed, that's gonna have to come out of your pocket." Seth explained as he took another drink.

"As for a bonus, both teams, as well as the support staff will be getting extra compensation for this mission, since something like this was never in the groups mission statement, still isn't. So that's already covered." Seth said as he set the water bottle down. "That said, you need to work on your presentation. 'I'm risking my life for nothing'? You do realize Gungnir is a volunteer based organization, and no one is getting paid, I've pretty much been doing nothing but lose money since I started funding this thing, Karis lost a limb for on a mission he accepted purely due to his own code of honor, which is netting him absolutely nothing in the form of 'compensation'."

"Really? Your asking a demon, who's got his hands in all kinds of things, both legal and illegal, in both the earth and demons realms, for a 'reason to defend your home realm'."

Sol didn't really see the point. Oh, he was sure Seth thought there was something scathing to that, as if there was some sort of desire in him to defend his home realm. However, honestly, that wasn't his area. If it hadn't been him sent to the demon realm, someone else would have been, and Sol honestly wouldn't have minded sitting this one out.

Who cares about being a hero anyway? Do I look like a Power Ranger?

At least, he thought he could remember something about some show with something called the Power Rangers, who went around wearing silly costumes and saving the world.

As for your 'place', your not entitled to anymore then any other member of the team, but if you want a bigger bed, that's gonna have to come out of your pocket."

"Well, if it was that easy you should've just told me," Sol said, as he pocketed the card.

"As for a bonus, both teams, as well as the support staff will be getting extra compensation for this mission, since something like this was never in the groups mission statement, still isn't. So that's already covered. That said, you need to work on your presentation. 'I'm risking my life for nothing'? You do realize Gungnir is a volunteer based organization, and no one is getting paid, I've pretty much been doing nothing but lose money since I started funding this thing, Karis lost a limb for on a mission he accepted purely due to his own code of honor, which is netting him absolutely nothing in the form of 'compensation'".

"Well, that is quite uncalled for. If there was a bonus, I think you should've told everyone. Acting as if I killed your family dog isn't going to make me feel bad for not knowing that you were already going to give us the compensation I was asking for. It's good to know that my requests weren't too much, then, since you've already covered most of my suggestions. Besides, all I asked for is enough compensation not to lose money, because you should know that if a hunter lose access to their resources, that's the end. No more hunting to do, and probably a bunch of people with a grudge big enough not to let you have a normal life. I know I have those people, at least, and if I'm not a hunter then I'm nothing more than someone being hunted, an easily struck target. I'll buy the bed myself, though."

He still felt somewhat miffed about that last part, though, with Seth comparing him to Karis.

So he's going to hold someone else's condition against me?

That was a low blow, though, honestly, he had gotten worse from worse employers, both as a hunter and as a thief. It didn't make it any more true, however. He wondered if he should address that part, and figured he may as well react to it, else Seth would believe it was an okay thing to do.

"As for that last thing... Whatever arrangement other people have made is none of my business, but you know I never was here on an volunteer basis. That's not how I do things, because I can't afford to. I'm unimportant in the grand scale of things, and to a lot of people, that makes me disposable. In theory, I am very easily replaced if you push it too hard and get me killed, and that's not a safe position, not at all. A position like that requires some form of compensation. I'm just an ordinary human, regardless of the fact that I'm a decent hunter with an interesting amulet." With that, he got up, making his way over to the door.

Note to self; treat Seth as one of the fences back in the US when it comes to pay. Don't force it, and don't push your luck, lest you end up dead in an alley-way. And remember to reinforce the fact that you're unique, an asset he shouldn't replace, even if you're just a human. You have the amulet, you have the experience, and you're different from the others.

He had to make sure he wasn't easily disposable. But doing it now would only force it, which was a real no-no. Instead, he turned to Seth, waving his hand carefully while still holding onto that crutch.

"I'll see you around, then."

"I'm not in the mood for a party..last time we had a 'party' we got attack by cultist and I rather no relive that part of my life again. Though if you should get in trouble do give me a call.."

Mirabelle stated silent and watched as Tomas left, wondering if something was wrong. After all, she and Sierra were in that party too (heck, she met him for the first time there) and they were still willing to go. Of course, he could just not want to go...but something told her that this was about something else...

Still, she could save the questioning for later. After all, the events of the last party were good enough reasons not to go. Turning her attention back to the group, she said, "I'll come too. I don't really feel like we partied all that much last time my group went out so hopefully things go better this time. Besides, I doubt any cultists would come about again and start doing what they did last time." Of course, that wasn't guaranteed but she was feeling optimistic about it all. In essence, it was a redo of the original party she had gone to...now she had to hope that it would end without her losing any friends this time.

"Also, you guys don't need waste money buying drinks for me. I can't taste them anyways."

"I'll come too. I don't really feel like we partied all that much last time my group went out so hopefully things go better this time. Besides, I doubt any cultists would come about again and start doing what they did last time."

?All right then.? He said, clapping and rubbing his hands together. ?If anybody wants to change, I?d do it now; and while you do that I?ll see about commandeering us a ride.?

"Also, you guys don't need waste money buying drinks for me. I can't taste them anyways."

?Guess I?m drinking for three then?? He chuckled. While the others got ready, Viktor went and pestered the school?s motor pool for a large enough vehicle to transport them to the club.

[hr]

Once everyone was assembled, they piled into the van and Viktor slid behind the wheel. Sliding through traffic, he drove through town, at one point passing the club when some of the others had been assaulted. Passing through the entertainment district, the van moved easily through the light traffic as it passed into a more light industrial area. The further they drove, the more run down the buildings became and the thinner the traffic on both the roads and the sidewalks became.

Turning off the main road, he drove them past rows of shuttered and abandoned looking factories and warehouses. After driving past row after row of derelict buildings, Viktor swung the van through an open rusty gate and drove into a pitch black, and abandoned looked loading bay. Stopping the van, he flashed the headlights once before turning them off. ?Nobody move, let me do the talking.?

Suddenly the van was illuminated by the high-beams of several cars that were parked in a rough horseshoe well back from the door. Well-armed yakuza emerged out of the light, and one serious looking fellow made his way to the driver?s side of the van. ??.

The ?heavy? talked into a handheld radio, asking someone to confirm the name; when the confirmation came back, the man smiled, then stuck his head into the van slightly to get a look at the other occupants. Seeing both Sierra and Juliet, his smile became much more lecherous. ??

Viktor thanked the man before turning his lights back on and driving deeper into the building. Here there were cars neatly parked along the walls, and armed thugs keeping an eye on them. Pulling into a free space, he turned the van off and shifted in his seat so he could see the others. ?We?re here. Three things; One, this is a ?normal? illegal den of vice, so be aware if you find yourselves needing to do something out of the ordinary. Two, this is a genuine hive of scum and villainy so be careful of who you piss off. Three, if shit goes bad and you can?t find me find the nearest white guy. Any non-Jap here?ll be from either the ?normal? side of my Clan or a member of our Russian allies. You tell them you?re a friend of mine and you need help they will.? He was about to get out, when he turned back around and looked pointedly at Juliet, Sierra and Mirabelle. ?When some idiot gets a bit more ?hands on? than you?d like, try not to too badly or kill him?it?ll just make things difficult.?

Getting out of the van, he led the group through a pair of dented and rusty steel doors, up a short flight of concrete steps, through some more rusty doors and into what appeared to be one part casino, one part nightclub and one part strip show. Turning to face the group he held his arms wide and smiled. ?Welcome! The bar and dancing is to your left, casino to your right and fun wherever you?re brave enough.?

Will was getting worried as Viktor kept driver. Why would a "club" be all the way out here. The more he saw, the more he didn't like it. It was until they stop and got question that will was a bit panicking. Living in japan for a bit with his mentor he learn how to speak Japanese as well, or at least understand it. Wondering what he meant by 'how much?" towards Juliet and Sierra, but will have to ask later.

They all get out of the car, Will keeping thoughts to himself as he wonders about this place. It wasn't until they went in that Will saw what it was and his face turn bright red from the sights. Gluping as he said "Um..I..I didn't know..it would be like this.." He told anyone who would listen. Will thought it would just be a normal bar, not a night club and a strip join.

Sierra just gave Viktor a look, not a sharp pointed one, more a '...really ...' kind of one. "You brought an ill tempered bull to a china shop full of people almost guaranteed to piss it off, and your telling the bull to not break anything." Sierra said flatly, then sighed. "Fine, but any injury's and damage incurred will be on your head. Your the one that brought the 'bull' after all."

She then turned to Will. "Me ether, I was expecting a normal bar, not a strip club and casino." she said, before she had a though. "One probably run by his clan..."

"When some idiot gets a bit more 'hands on' than you'd like, try not to too badly or kill him...it'll just make things difficult."

Juliet rolled her eyes, she was well aware of how to handle that particular issue. She was somewhat more surprised by Vik's choice of venue, certainly it wasn't what she had in mind though it would do. She supposed that no one in the group would likely have been interested in dancing even if they had gone to one of her preferred clubs, but then she doubted any of the group would be interested in the sort of dances offered here either.

Generally speaking she avoided strip clubs, there were rules against trying anything with the dancers and they provided an unwanted distraction (and to some extent competition) to her efforts. Casinos were another matter, while she visited them only rarely (and given their illegality in japan she hadn't been to one since she'd arrived in the country) they often proved a good source of entertainment and profit. Not that she intended to pursue that tonight, after all she'd rather pursue entertainment she'd favor one of the group over someone else. Hmm, I doubt I'll have any luck with Daniel or Mira, Sol's got his boyfriend who he seems surprisingly dedicated to, Will is too nervous, Sierra's clearly not in a good mood, which leaves Viktor as the best option. Of course I could probably work with Will or Sierra as well, I suppose we'll see where the night goes.

"Um..I..I didn't know..it would be like this.."

She clapped Will on the shoulder "Just try to relax," she said "get yourself a drink, go watch the girls, you'll be enjoying yourself in no time, and hey we'll be here if you need anything."

You'd think he'd be at least a little over his nervousness by now, he's survived the demon realm after all. Bah, maybe some exposure will help him get over it.

She turned to Viktor "Let me know when you're ready to start that drinking contest, given that we're in a casino I can't help but feel we should make a wager of some sort," she smiled somewhat coyly "I'm open to all sorts of suggestions."

Until then she supposed she'd wander around, play some games, perhaps go watch the strippers for a bit. Some of them looked rather talented and flexible in ways that gave her all manner of ideas.

"Hey, wait up," Sol said as he got outside. The others had just started walking away, and any other day he'd been able to catch up with them, but now he felt like attempting to do so would end with him flat out on the ground, or a loud, banging noise that would just be plain annoying. Joining the others, he didn't really pay attention to their conversations, he was more concerned with how to ensure he didn't drink anything alcoholic.

Have to keep an eye on the bartender, I suppose. Ask for a bottle, if I can.

Not that he believed it was common for bartenders to give people alcohol when they didn't ask for it, but there could always be an accident. Or someone could buy him a drink.
_____________________________________________________________________________________

Well, the good news was that there would probably not be anyone buying him a drink. The bad news was that apparently Vik had brought them to a mob-place, which was... well, not at all that surprising, really. He really should have given it a second thought when the vampire had told Sol to tell them his name. He had to admit that everything in his body told him this was a bad idea. Back when he'd interacted more with crowds like these, he'd have a couple main rules, one was not to mingle with the mob. Any kind of mafia.

And now I'm hurt too.

After being let in, Vik decided to brief them all on the way to act inside. Given that most of them likely had little to no experience with the kind, that was a good idea.
"We're here. Three things; One, this is a 'normal' illegal den of vice, so be aware if you find yourselves needing to do something out of the ordinary. Two, this is a genuine hive of scum and villainy so be careful of who you piss off. Three, if shit goes bad and you can't find me find the nearest white guy. Any non-Jap here'll be from either the 'normal' side of my Clan or a member of our Russian allies. You tell them you're a friend of mine and you need help they will."

"Got it, they'll help us out," Sol replied, making a mental note to leave his coat and weapons behind. If something happened, he did have shield spells that got activated without it being noticeable, and worst case scenario he'd just turn invisible and leave Vik to handle the implications of that. Then Vik addressed the women.

"When some idiot gets a bit more 'hands on' than you'd like, try not to too badly or kill him...it'll just make things difficult."

So it's not even the classy kind of hive of scum and villany.

Great. Sol removed his coat, weapons and hat, leaving the scarf on. It felt a little comforting, especially when heading into something his instincts told him to avoid.

"Welcome! The bar and dancing is to your left, casino to your right and fun wherever you're brave enough."

"Uhm, yes, okay, so this isn't just a bar," Sol said, the fact that it was a casino and a strip-joint -because come on, they didn't have regular dancers in a place like this- brought up something he had made an attempt at storing in the back of his mind. It wasn't Vik's fault, he'd have no way of knowing, but it reminded Sol of that email he had gotten a couple of weeks ago, his brother's attempt to appeal to him by offering to have the bachelor party in Vegas.

And I don't even like gambling, Sam should know that. Strippers are fine, I suppose, but not when I'm not drinking.

"So, we're going to the bar, right?" Sol asked, though before he had gotten a reply, he had already made up his mind. He certainly wasn't going to get dragged into something idiotic like that. "They do have soda here, I hope," he added, looking at Vik, his tone a little more sarcastic than he had intended.

Sol, come on. Vik couldn't know about that. Just don't think about it. Sam's gonna give up eventually, and he'll be fine without you.

He looked to the others with a smirk, he wasn't going to let any of them think he was bothered by anything. Because he wasn't, right? Sol was simply thinking.

Sure, let's go with that.

Mirabelle blinked for a moment, processing all of that. She had never heard of a hive of scum and villainy before but she suspected that such a term meant that it was lined with rat bastards, unhinged murderers, and just in general failed abortions in the eyes of society...She was really starting to wish she had stayed back with Tomas now. Oh well, too late.

"When some idiot gets a bit more 'hands on' than you'd like, try not to?too?badly or kill him...it'll just make things difficult."

...and now, another layer of concern was added, mostly due to having nearly severed a mans head last time they were out and got into trouble. Still, at least she had back up and knew who to look for in case they weren't around. She now just had to hope that she actually didn't run into a problem in the first place.

"Welcome! The bar and dancing is to your left, casino to your right and fun wherever you're brave enough."

Mirabelle considered the options here. She didn't know how to gamble so it was probably best to stay away from the casino, she had little interest in watching people strip for money outside of maybe taking notes to make herself look more...correct, and she couldn't drink. Maybe she should actually suggest a place next time so she could find something to do? Regardless, the things she could do looked slim.

"Um..I..I didn't know..it would be like this.."

?"Just try to relax, get yourself a drink, go watch the girls, you'll be enjoying yourself in no time, and hey we'll be here if you need anything."

"Here, i can come with you and buy the drink. I can't gamble of watch the girls anyways so it will help me buy time to find something I can do. Besides, we can always talk if you want." Mira said to Will, understanding his being flustered. She doubted he wanted to do half the stuff here and she actually couldn't so it made sense to her for the two of them to stick together for now.

"Um..I..I didn't know..it would be like this.."

?Well it?s gotta all be under one roof.? Viktor chuckled as he led the party forwards through the crowd. ?Less cops to pay off that way.?

"You brought an ill-tempered bull to a china shop full of people almost guaranteed to piss it off, and you?re telling the bull to not break anything. Fine, but any injuries and damage incurred will be on your head. You?re the one that brought the 'bull' after all."

?No one said you had to come.? He replied just as flatly as Sierra had spoken. ?And I never said don?t break anyone, just don?t go overboard. No severed limbs or full body paralysis, and if you pick the fight, it?s your ass, otherwise fine.? This may have been a big fucking mistake?

"Me ether, I was expecting a normal bar, not a strip club and casino. One probably run by his clan..."

?The bar is on the other side of the dance floor?and ?we? are still getting into Japan; haven?t had time to get settled in yet.?

"Let me know when you're ready to start that drinking contest, given that we're in a casino I can't help but feel we should make a wager of some sort, I'm open to all sorts of suggestions."

Much to his own surprise, his mood improved as Juliet spoke up. ?I would say looser has to get on stage.? He grinned, waving a meaty arm towards one of the pole dancers. ?But somehow I doubt you?d see that as much of a forfeit.? Skirting the dance floor, the party was intercepted by a pretty Japanese girl in an outfit that had slightly less cloth than a napkin. Wordlessly she guided them to a well-appointed booth that was more than big enough for all of them.

Before she left, she leant towards Viktor. After the girl left, Viktor turned to the table. ?Well apparently we?ve got a tab on the bar and my people are picking up the tab.? Looking more to William now, he indicated to some second story windows that overlooked the floor. ?I do need to pay my respects to the man in charge before I do much else, so I?ll be back shortly.?

"I would say loser has to get on stage. But somehow I doubt you'd see that as much of a forfeit."

Juliet laughed "If that's what you want that's fine by me," she said "I'm a bit surprised you didn't want to gamble for a taste of my blood though, you seemed to have quite a hunger for that sort of thing on our last mission."

They were intercepted by a delightfully under-dressed girl, who Juliet shamelessly ogled, and were guided to a large booth just for them. I'm starting to like this place more and more. The girl whispered something to Viktor before leaving, apparently telling him about someone he needed to see. Probably some gang politics or the like.

"I do need to pay my respects to the man in charge before I do much else, so I'll be back shortly."

"Do what you have to," she said "and let me know if you decide on a wager."

She turned back to the others, she might be enjoying herself, and no doubt Viktor enjoyed the place or he wouldn't have selected it, but Will, Sierra and Mira weren't having as much fun. Well that won't do, we're here to celebrate after all. Unfortunately she was having difficulty thinking of anything, their venue's entertainment was of a few specific varieties after all. I'll just be quiet for now, hopefully they'll start chatting.

Sol didn't say much as they stood there, he'd not have his question replied to -which seemed like a bad sign for the whole soda thing- and Vik and Juliet seemed like they were busy with making a bet for their drinking game. Sol would've loved to join -though he doubted he could out-drink a vampire that couldn't get drunk, for obvious reasons- but it seemed Luke had picked the perfect day to stop drinking.

Come on Sol, you agreed to it. Besides, it's good, for both you and Luke.

He avoiding looking towards the casino, he didn't need to think about that, as much as his mind meant he had to talk about it. Instead, he looked forwards, getting more than a little weirded out by the waitress meeting them. He flashed her a warm smile, eyes kept at above neck level, he didn't have the taste for girls dressing like that, not when it seemed like her job demanded it. It was difficult to keep looking at the back of her head, and though his eyes did go further down for a brief moment, it was nothing like what Juliet was doing, which was openly ogling the girl.

She's as much of a perv as those lonely old hunters, huh.

He had heard the weirdest stories about some of those guys. Everything from ordering several mail order brides from Russia to build a harem, to getting involved with the less appealing creatures they hunted, to some guy obsessed with a doll. Most of them were just plain old perverts, though, some of whom managed to make Sol rather uncomfortable. And it took a lot to make Sol feel uncomfortable with something sexual, he either liked something, didn't like it, or found it odd. Uncomfortable was... it had to be pretty creepy.

I suppose Juliet's an actual sex demon, so it's in her nature.

Thus far, she had not made him uncomfortable either, though he had to admit she was fairly far off his "to-do" list, given her succubus status.

Sol was quite pleased when he saw that they would have a place to sit down, and was eager to get over there and rest. Because of that, he was a little miffed about Vik apparently not staying.

"Well apparently we've got a tab on the bar and my people are picking up the tab. I do need to pay my respects to the man in charge before I do much else, so I'll be back shortly."

Of course, it's when someone else is drinking that I can't. Oh Luke, I hope you know how much I care about you. Anyhow, we can sit down even if Vik's not here, right? I mean, anything else would be idiotic.

Sol didn't spend much time looking at Vik leaving, and just took his seat at the table, finally. The others could stand around as much as they liked, he didn't care. He was injured, and it was surprisingly tiring to walk with crutches. Besides, he had noticed that they were rather quiet, and though Juliet seemed like the most likely one to talk, she kept quiet too.

I wonder how long it will take before the more quiet of the group keep a conversation going between them.

Might as well find out. He stretched, his arms felt stiff after all the walking, and then leaned forwards, putting his hands under his chin as he waited for someone to say something.

Sierra sighed as Viktor left. "I don't think he 'gets it', this place has a totally different 'threat level' then a normal bar far as 'assholes putting their hands where they shouldn't' go, as I highly doubt slapping a jerk or throwing a drink in their face would be much of a deterrent to any one here that would get grabby." she said as she took a seat at the table. "But what ever, I'll maul that bridge when I come to it, what the plan, or is there one?"

William kept quiet as Viktor and them joke about losing the drinking contest. He was going to say something to that bet, until that was a under dress woman appear before them to take them to their table. William turn beat red as he look her over. A little bit of blood coming down his nose as he try to sniff it back up. Trying to look else where as they walk since he didn't want to be a perv before anyone. Though the color of his skin didn't turn back to normal until she was gone.

Hoping no one notice as he sink into his seat a bit, embarrassed that he acted like that. 'Come on William...you went into the demon realm and fought some demon knights and even met Lucifer. A very attractive girl who is dress skimpy shouldn't give you this much trouble.' He tried to reason with himself but he couldn't help it. He never hung around people that much and really didn't know how to act.

The only reason he alright with his team is because he got used to them by now and their oddities. Besides Juliet but thats for a whole another reason. Gluping as he wonder if he should have stayed with Tomas.

"Well apparently we've got a tab on the bar and my people are picking up the tab." He heard Viktor say as he looked at him. Will smiled a bit as at least he didn't have to pay, or get someone on his team to pay for his drinks. He was about to say thanks but Viktor added, "I do need to pay my respects to the man in charge before I do much else, so I'll be back shortly."

"Oh..alright, well thank you, and tell the owner I said thanks as well." William smiled and wave Viktor good bye.

"I don't think he 'gets it', this place has a totally different 'threat level' then a normal bar far as 'assholes putting their hands where they shouldn't' go, as I highly doubt slapping a jerk or throwing a drink in their face would be much of a deterrent to any one here that would get grabby. But what ever, I'll maul that bridge when I come to it, what the plan, or is there one?"

William gluped as he hope it never comes to that. "Well..I don't think they will. I mean..if they get..'grabby' wouldn't they be driving away business here? I-i don't the owners would like that much..."

Meanwhile, back at the school

Tomas was playing chess with one of the other members of Gungnir. Sighing in frustration as he was losing badly. Looking at the board as he was trying to figure out his next move, while his oppentent just smiling in a smug tone. Tomas then smiled and move his knight. "Ha!" He felt like he just change the board, now he was on the offense, now he can push back and wi-

Before he could continue that thought his opponent smiled and move his piece. "Ha Checkmate!" Tomas just stared as he close his fist, let out a roar and just flip the table. Storming out of the room as the Gungnir member shouted "Sore loser!"

"That's the place we're going, and my cell." Responded Viktor as he pulled out a white business card from his wallet, taking a moment to write something down on it before passing it off to Daniel. Flipping it over onto the front, Daniel saw that it had his full name, what appeared to be a phone number, and the term 'Management Consultant' at the bottom, obviously that last part was a cover identity.

"Thanks. Right I best get going, see you lot in a little while." Daniel said as he gave them a wave before turning round and leaving the room.

Back at The Order Safehouse

Before Daniel set to work on right the debrief report, he went about getting tidied up first for meeting up with the others later. After cleaning off the blood that had been splattered on it from the demons he had fought to plunging his sword in Vyrlian, Daniel hanged his trench-coat up to dry, no way it would be dry in time, so he gathered a few articles of clothing together and went for a smart casual look. By the time he was finished, the laptop had booted up so he sat down and began writing his report.

Status update following previous communication with Round Table Council. Can confirm that Lucifer has been defeated and sealed away again courtesy of Lady Rozalin*, Lady Riviera*, and Lord Ansoth*. No confirmed casualties amongst Allied forces, though many members sustained injuries at varying levels.

Despite the successful outcome of this mission, I personally feel that something was amiss, there was all this build-up, yet little pay-off; what surprised me more is that Zaqiel didn't put in an appearance herself, perhaps she foresaw the outcome and decided to cut her losses and run, then again, what would I know, have not spoken to any of my kin since before the exile.

Speaking of which, during the assault phase, Lucifer did appear, and despite it being eons since he last had contact with Angels, was able to detect my presence. This was brought up in a post mission debrief, and well, you can probably guess where that went. Though in my opinion, it appears to have had a positive effect regarding my relations with the team here in Japan.

Now with the matter of Lucifer being dealt with, all that remains is dealing with Regalia. I know that my mission was to investigate the cultist situation and deal with it, but I feel as though that this is another matter which should be dealt with as soon as possible. That being said, I would like to request a dossier compiling any essential intelligence that we possess on Regalia. Whilst Gato may have its own information relating to them, additional intel may prove useful.

Argartha Network can also be fully re-instated following successful completion of mission.

Operative Rast Signing Off

Now with that sent, Daniel was free to go and join the others; but before he left though, he did a quick search on the location of this establishment, and something resembling a smirk came to his face.

Poor Will, won't know what he is in for. Daniel then left the safe-house and went to catch a taxi.

After being led to a table, Viktor told the group that they were having their drinks payed for...which left Mirabelle in a bind about what to do. She still didn't see anything that would fit her definition of fun...then again, her definition of fun involved locking herself in the library all night with a flashlight so maybe that was partly her fault as well. Still, she wasn't really pressured to choose something to do just yet...why sorry so much right now?

"I don't think he 'gets it', this place has a totally different 'threat level' then a normal bar far as 'assholes putting their hands where they shouldn't' go, as I highly doubt slapping a jerk or throwing a drink in their face would be much of a deterrent to any one here that would get grabby. "I donno...that may not be that much of a deterant towards some people, most likely the drunks. Still, I highly doubt that we got in the normal way considering the guards outside. Most people here probably were checked by them and wouldn't have weapons on them, making it much easier to deal with them if need be. Besides, the owner of this place seems to know Viktor well enough to give him a tab, I see no reason to assume that he'd let someone try to harass one of Viktors associates if he knows him that much. All in all, I say we need more time with this place than the few minutes we've been here before we come up with an acurate judgement. I'm not advocating that we let our guard down...I just think we should experience this place first."

Mirabelle wasn't too sure how right that was but considering the evidence, it certainly seemed so, which helped her unwind a bit. And with that, Mirabelle continued, saying, "Speaking of which, anybody have any idea on what they want to do here?"

Sol stopped smiling as he noticed how worried they were. Even Mira, for all her reassurance of the others, seemed to feel nervous. It was a little surprising, they were all strong enough to easily deal with the crowd inside, yet they were acting like normal, weak humans. In the meanwhile, Sol, the one who should be worried, was just on the alert, aware of the place because of instinct, but not worried like that.

I almost wish I was more worried myself.

It was a different kind of world, he supposed, and though their worries were understandable, he had also learned that it was pointless to worry like that. Be careful, sure, but worrying kept your mind occupied. That could be even more dangerous. Still, he kept quiet, he didn't think he could get the message across in the right kind of way. Either he'd sound like he was calling them naive and inexperienced, or he'd mention details about his life he didn't want to.

"Speaking of which, anybody have any idea on what they want to do here?"

Sol didn't mind the topic changing, and he smirked. "Well, I was hoping for some soda, something to eat, a nice chat perhaps. Gambling's not really my kind of thing, and it's a little early for strippers," he mused, taking up two seats in the stall as he leaned backwards, motioning to a waitress passing by. She had a little more clothes on than the former one, but that wasn't by much.

"So, I'm going to order now. I suggest you do the same, because I don't know how long it takes for them to get your drinks. Depends on how fancy they are, I suppose, prepping one of those umbrellas probably takes a while," he grinned, making sure the waitress was still headed their way and hadn't gotten "stolen" by someone else. When she had walked up to them, Sol had already figured out what he wanted.

"No alcohol for me today," he started. "I want soda, I don't particularly care what brand it is as long as it tastes like oranges, and is served in a tall glass. A large one, I'm thirsty. As for food... you wouldn't happen to serve shrimp tempura, would you?" he asked, feeling the need for something greasy. She nodded, telling him that they did, with some vegetables alongside, them battered and fried as well.

That sounds perfect.

"I'd like two plates of that then. For me," he added, making sure she was aware of that he wasn't ordering for anyone else. Luke had only been able to procure two sad pieces of pizza earlier, and that wasn't nearly enough to get rid of the hangover-cravings. "But I only need one bowl of soy or whatever. Any of you guys want to order now?" he asked, looking at the others. He wasn't going to say it in front of the server, but someone else paid for them, and in a situation like this, refusing to buy anything might seem rude, as if the kindness offered by Vik's people wasn't wanted.

Not that he'd bought two servings of tempura to be polite. That was because he could.

Free food tastes the best.

Will was about to say something until the waitress that Sol called over came over. While she was a bit more covered, it didn't help that much for Will as he blush slightly. Grabbing the menu as he hid his face behind it. He wasn't sure why he always felt awkward around women, well, loosely dress women. Though he was glad her focus was on Sol at the moment and his order.

While Sol order, William finds what he wants as the noodles with shrimp in it. As he looked up, he saw the waitress waiting on him. "um..I-I'll have the.." Looks at the menu again before looking back up. "The noodles with the shrimp please..with a sweet tea..if you have that..if not a soda as well.."

The waitress just giggling at his shyness as she moves on to the next person to order.
