Solomon
"But if you're asking, Solomon, then I have to spill it...there's no way a hunter of any worth would not try and dig up the information if I just said 'I don't want to say'. You cannot repeat anything I'm about to say to anyone in your 'pack' ...understood?"
Sol shrugged. "I'm not one for prying. But if you insist, I'd love to know." He grinned. Luke, however, was a bit less confident about being confided in.
"Uhm, okay, I promise I won't tell them," he said as he nodded carefully, not looking away from Vik before he thought he was allowed to.
"Pretty much. Though I dislike having to contact our 'known' operations here. I'm supposed to be unconnected to them for security purposes, but if the Administration found out who I 'work' for, my job would be a lot harder; you see, my clan operates as part of a Russian mob family. You can imagine how well that'd go over. As for the specific reason I'm here; those cultists we've encountered stole a powerful artifact from my clan, and I'm tasked to recover it. They stole the sword of Vlad Tepes from a, supposedly, secure vault and the clan wants it back."
If only I hadn't quit being a thief...
Well, also if he was a complete moron. "So, you're saying that if I sold the sword through one of my former fences..." he trailed off, chatting about that part of his past was a bad habit. "Don't worry, I wouldn't steal it, I'm not a complete moron. I'm just wondering what it would be worth, you've probably gathered that I'm a curious fellow." He flashed Vik an innocent smile.
"Um..should we go check up on her?"
"Hm?" Sol said, then noticed the phones. Bringing his own up, he noticed two messages from Lenah, and then one from Seth. The ones from Lenah mentioned that Seth wanted to talk to Sol about his position at the university and that Sierra was awake, while the one from Seth was a repeat of the latter of Lenah's.
"I would love to," Sol said, and looked over at Luke. The other looked more than a little disappointed, but Sol smiled to ensure him of that he wasn't going to leave. "But I'm sort of in the middle of something, can't really ditch my boyfriend just like that. Besides, we ordered some burgers, and it would look weird if I just left Luke. And, Sierra doesn't seem like the kind of girl who'd appreciate her room being crowded the moment she wakes up." He gave a wink, then put his phone away.
He'd talk to Seth eventually, right now the demon was probably busy dealing with the mess that was Sierra's current state anyways.

Lenah
This is really good. Anyway, as for the transfer, I wouldn't feel to bad about it. I mean I'm probably gonna get stuffed into a non combat role to."
"That doesn't really make me feel better," Lenah said, looking at her feet. "I came to this school do experience stuff, not to sit still and do nothing. I have to admit, I've been thinking about leaving, to go out there and find out who my father is. I mean, I'm different from the other nymphs, I have abilities they never had, so my father can't be some ol' human, right?" She tilted her head as she saw Sierra drink again, hopefully the other would feel better soon.
"By the way ... do you know if any of the staff mentioned anything odd? I have the weirdest feeling something is ... 'missing', but I dunno what."
"Yeah... about that..." Lenah looked out the window for a brief moment, then back at Sierra. "I figure that you'd not want Seth to break the news to you, but they said your demonic presence is gone. Apparently someone took it, or something. I'm sorry."
