"But if you're asking, Solomon, then I have to spill it...there's no way a hunter of any worth would not try and dig up the information if I just said 'I don't want to say'. You cannot repeat anything I'm about to say to anyone in your 'pack' ...understood?"

Sol shrugged. "I'm not one for prying. But if you insist, I'd love to know." He grinned. Luke, however, was a bit less confident about being confided in.

"Uhm, okay, I promise I won't tell them," he said as he nodded carefully, not looking away from Vik before he thought he was allowed to.

"Pretty much. Though I dislike having to contact our 'known' operations here. I'm supposed to be unconnected to them for security purposes, but if the Administration found out who I 'work' for, my job would be a lot harder; you see, my clan operates as part of a Russian mob family. You can imagine how well that'd go over. As for the specific reason I'm here; those cultists we've encountered stole a powerful artifact from my clan, and I'm tasked to recover it. They stole the sword of Vlad Tepes from a, supposedly, secure vault and the clan wants it back."

If only I hadn't quit being a thief...

Well, also if he was a complete moron. "So, you're saying that if I sold the sword through one of my former fences..." he trailed off, chatting about that part of his past was a bad habit. "Don't worry, I wouldn't steal it, I'm not a complete moron. I'm just wondering what it would be worth, you've probably gathered that I'm a curious fellow." He flashed Vik an innocent smile.

"Um..should we go check up on her?"

"Hm?" Sol said, then noticed the phones. Bringing his own up, he noticed two messages from Lenah, and then one from Seth. The ones from Lenah mentioned that Seth wanted to talk to Sol about his position at the university and that Sierra was awake, while the one from Seth was a repeat of the latter of Lenah's.

"I would love to," Sol said, and looked over at Luke. The other looked more than a little disappointed, but Sol smiled to ensure him of that he wasn't going to leave. "But I'm sort of in the middle of something, can't really ditch my boyfriend just like that. Besides, we ordered some burgers, and it would look weird if I just left Luke. And, Sierra doesn't seem like the kind of girl who'd appreciate her room being crowded the moment she wakes up." He gave a wink, then put his phone away.

He'd talk to Seth eventually, right now the demon was probably busy dealing with the mess that was Sierra's current state anyways.

Lenah

This is really good. Anyway, as for the transfer, I wouldn't feel to bad about it. I mean I'm probably gonna get stuffed into a non combat role to."

"That doesn't really make me feel better," Lenah said, looking at her feet. "I came to this school do experience stuff, not to sit still and do nothing. I have to admit, I've been thinking about leaving, to go out there and find out who my father is. I mean, I'm different from the other nymphs, I have abilities they never had, so my father can't be some ol' human, right?" She tilted her head as she saw Sierra drink again, hopefully the other would feel better soon.

"By the way ... do you know if any of the staff mentioned anything odd? I have the weirdest feeling something is ... 'missing', but I dunno what."

"Yeah... about that..." Lenah looked out the window for a brief moment, then back at Sierra. "I figure that you'd not want Seth to break the news to you, but they said your demonic presence is gone. Apparently someone took it, or something. I'm sorry."

Feeling his pocket buzz, he retrieved his cell and saw the message from Seth. Closing his phone he looked back up was William spoke.

"Um..should we go check up on her?"

?If you want to, go for it.? He replied, smiling slightly. ?Hell, she may even be glad to see you?I don?t think seeing my ugly face would do much for her mood after just waking up.? He felt no reason to ?sugar coat? his and Sierra?s opinions of each other.

"So, you're saying that if I sold the sword through one of my former fences...Don't worry, I wouldn't steal it, I'm not a complete moron. I'm just wondering what it would be worth, you've probably gathered that I'm a curious fellow."

?Well,? Viktor said after a moment or two. ?If your old fence dealt with ?non-human? artefacts, and had any sense, he?d probably throw you out the moment he recognized the marking on the blade. If he just thought it was a sword? You wouldn?t get a whole lot for it, it?s not a particularly flashy or ornate looking blade.? He said with a shrug. ?Worse would be if you were found out by other members of my clan. The clan Elders trust be because I can be tactful when sorting out ?problems??the others are generally much less subtle; best case scenario if that happened, would be that they?d kill you.? Reasons like that were why he preferred to work alone, or with a small team of his choosing; the other ?action groups? tended to do things like knock down whole airliners to get a single man.

"Yeah... about that...I figure that you'd not want Seth to break the news to you, but they said your demonic presence is gone. Apparently someone took it, or something. I'm sorry." Lenah replied

Sierra gave her an odd look. "That's not possible. That'd be like some one ripping the 'Nmyph' out of you or"

"Hello...hope I'm not interrupting anything." Tomas said as he knocked and entered at the same time.

"Or the Dragon out of him, Hey Tomas." She said with a little wave. "It's probably just being suppressed or something, the demons that attacked where using odd weapons after all." Sierra took a breath, as if to clear the pain she was feeling. "Anyway, you should find out what you'll be doing first, then decide what to do."

"So, My days been pretty fucked, hows yours been." Sierra said to Tomas proper.

Seth

Seth delayed his check on Sierra to call the messenger he's sent to set up a meeting with the Queens, Riviera in particular, and get clarification on a few details in the text.

"Oh, Jarrah, I expect you to have a presentation ready to give base on what I told you to the team, I'll give you, say, three days. No sense in keeping this information to your self after all."

Jarrah paused, half out of the door, and sighed before looking back to Seth

"Alright, fair enough I suppose." He said, before briskly turing and walking out the door, just incase Seth decided to ask him for anything else. While Jarrah agreed with the sentiment that the entire team should know the infomation Seth had told him, he didn't see why he had to be the one to give it to them when Seth was infinitely more capable. Grumbling to himself the entire lenght of the Gato campus, Jarrah eventually found himself back at the Gunginr dorms, and with little fanfair, retired to his room to work on the presentation.

Tomas

"Evening.." Tomas said to everyone in the room as he let Sierra finish what she was saying. Though he was behind on everything a bit with her condition, but assume he will be brought up to speed soon enough.

"So, My days been pretty fucked, hows yours been."

"I can't say nothing too bad, at least nothing compares to yours it seems." Tomas replied as he lean up against a wall. "Been training here and there. So what happen to you anyways? Seem like you got hit by a truck..and then it back up and ran you over again."

William

While both refuse to go, they both seem to have their just reasons. Sighing as he didn't want to go alone, but he didn't want to seem rude and not show up. "Well...I guess I'll go alone then. I'll let her know that you two had your reasons." he said with a light smile. Getting up and heading out. "Talk to you guys later!" He said as he did a wave and took off.

"Talk to you guys later!"

"See you then," Sol replied, not having expected that Vik would stay. Then again, Vik was an interesting fellow to talk to, and he and Luke would always be able to have alone-time later -Vik sure as hell wasn't going to be invited for the desserts either way- so he just listened as the vampire spoke.

"Well, if your old fence dealt with 'non-human' artefacts, and had any sense, he'd probably throw you out the moment he recognized the marking on the blade. If he just thought it was a sword? You wouldn't get a whole lot for it, it's not a particularly flashy or ornate looking blade. Worse would be if you were found out by other members of my clan. The clan Elders trust be because I can be tactful when sorting out 'problems'...the others are generally much less subtle; best case scenario if that happened, would be that they'd kill you."

"I don't know, there was a couple of those guys who could've picked out some of the worth of the blade just based on how old it was. None of them dealt with the supernatural, though, this was a lifetime ago," he chuckled. "And don't worry, I've gotten enough slaps on my hands not to try to do anything like that again, my master hated it. No need to try to give me some idle threat, I am very much aware of that the vampire clans are insane," he continued, then looked at Luke, who was listening attentively, looking sort of worried, and sort of curious. He supposed it would have to come up at some point, and that he was being a bit too cheeky with the details.

"Luke, I used to be a burglar, it's... difficult to explain. I used to think I was some kind of master thief stealing from rich people, that breaking in and taking their stuff, feeling smarter than everyone else, was what I wanted to do in life. It wasn't," he explained, calmly. It was a part of his past, the part that he actually didn't mind sharing. "I don't do that anymore."

"Oh. Well... you're a hunter, so I figured breaking in sort of came with the territory... really though, burglar? I suppose that explains why you were so cool with climbing out a window..." He looked a bit undecided, then smiled, carefully. "It's a good thing you're so pretty," he muttered, jokingly, and Sol leaned over to kiss him on the cheek. If Luke hadn't been so shy in public, then perhaps it would've lasted longer. "It is a good thing, isn't it?" Then he looked to Vik, not caring if the vampire felt out of place.

"Anyways, these guys stole your clan's sword, and now you're here to get it back? What is the sequel going to be? You running away from your clan, because it turned out the sword was a beautiful lady and you sort of fell in love with her?" he said, amused. "Or a beautiful man, it should be clear by now that I don't judge."

Lenah

"That's not possible. That'd be like some one ripping the 'Nmyph' out of you or"

"Hello...hope I'm not interrupting anything."

"Or the Dragon out of him, Hey Tomas. It's probably just being suppressed or something, the demons that attacked where using odd weapons after all. Anyway, you should find out what you'll be doing first, then decide what to do."

"Well, I'm just repeating what Seth said. He said it was odd... but possible. He'll probably explain it." She gave a nod to Tomas. "Hello there."

Of course everyone shows up when she's hurt.

It was a detestable feeling, but she couldn't help but feel a bit jealous.

She looked towards the door, suspecting that more were coming. With her side hurting as it did, she wasn't sure she could be as pleasant as she wanted, especially since she had avoided the painkillers. Until now, at least. "As for what I'll do... Don't alert the nurses if you see me climbing out the window, okay?" she smiled pleasantly, speaking as if it was a joke, then left the room. Once outside, she sighed, she knew her broken ribs had healed to the point of not being broken anymore, but they still hurt like hell.

If I wrap something around them, and mix my medicine with purified water...

Talking to Sierra had made her realize that she did have doubts about some parts of this whole deal. She did want to stay in Gungnir, but not if she was getting demoted to simply another assisting asset. If she didn't want that... well, then she'd have to leave.

It'll be fine. I'll go back to the pond, to my mother, and she'll tell me everything. She can't keep protecting me.

She started putting bandages around herself, tightly so that the ribs wouldn't get hurt any further, and went through the small plastic bag of clothes she had been brought from her room, and that she had hidden under her bed so that some nurse wouldn't get any ideas of that she was going to escape. Which she was. There was also a small bottle of alcohol hidden among the clothes, inside a shoe, that was the benefit of letting one of your more liberal friends pack your bag. Mixing morphine into her purified water, and then spiking it with alcohol, she downed it, and finished getting dressed. Then, after opening the window, she jumped out of it, aiming for a nearby tree, making sure it grabbed her.

Ouch.

Luckily she was light. Climbing down, she started looking for the new hall where the others were. She figured that if she ran, she'd be able to leave before anyone came to pursue her... if she even was useful enough to get pursued. Making her way to the newest looking building there, she quickly found her room and started packing what she would need for the trip back to Greece... and even further.

"Well...I guess I'll go alone then. I'll let her know that you two had your reasons. Talk to you guys later!"

?Later,? He said, giving William a small wave. ?And I?m sure Sierra will be just so heartbroken I?m not there.? He added, his voice thick with sarcasm.

"I don't know, there was a couple of those guys who could've picked out some of the worth of the blade just based on how old it was. None of them dealt with the supernatural, though, this was a lifetime ago, and don't worry, I've gotten enough slaps on my hands not to try to do anything like that again, my master hated it. No need to try to give me some idle threat, I am very much aware of that the vampire clans are insane."

That made Viktor chuckle. ?I guess this is the part where I?m supposed to get all indignant and say ?our proud and noble clans are NOT insane, thank you very much!?...but I?m not that good a liar.? His amused mood sobered a bit. ?It?s not an ?idle? threat though. There are some members of our ?actions groups? that would?remove?you if they felt you were connected; hell the fact that you?re a hunter would be reason enough for them to move against you or anyone connected to you.? Sitting back a bit while Luke a Solomon talked, he saw the concern on the lycan?s face, and sighed. ?I really need to know when to shut up sometimes.? He muttered. ?Fortunately,? he said a bit louder. ?Aside from me, the only ?assets? my clan has here are purely for observation, so don?t worry about it.?

"Anyways, these guys stole your clan's sword, and now you're here to get it back? What is the sequel going to be? You running away from your clan, because it turned out the sword was a beautiful lady and you sort of fell in love with her? Or a beautiful man, it should be clear by now that I don't judge."

?No men for me.? He laughed. ?Too hairy. As for my plan? Get the sword, and get it home, without giving into the temptation to use it on the pricks that currently have it?I don?t have nearly enough power to wield it and survive for any significant length of time.? Finishing his current drink, he signalled their server for his, and William?s, bill. ?That said, I think I?ve interrupted your date long enough.?

"Besides, I've already got a grasp on what I can do."

"Oh really?" Juliet asked with innocent curiosity "and what might that be? Your business or your powers that is, unless its a private matter?"

She suspected it had something to do with Seth, the business that was. If so she wouldn't be surprised if he was sticking around for quite a bit. Perhaps it was the cultists instead, or some other as yet unannounced threat. Even if he refused to tell her anything that would tell her something after all. And she could always turn to her own sources to try and uncover what an angel might be doing at the school.

"Oh really?" Juliet asked with an innate sense of curiosity in her voice. "And what might that be? Your business or your powers that is, unless it's a private matter?"

"My business here shall become evident in due time; suffice to say at this point I'll be working with you guys to solve it." Daniel said in a pseudo-cryptic fashion, though Juliet seemed like a smart enough Succubus to potentially figure it out.

"Regarding my powers on the other hand, well, the focus of it is card manipulation. I make use of special playing cards in the form of a projectile attack; but also they're imbued with certain abilities to help out with encounters. Think of it as like being Gambit from the X-Men comics, though not as snappy a dresser."

Sierra

Being stuck in bed, Sierra wasn't really in a position to stop Lenah from jumping out the window, she just signed. "Not being on the front line isn't the worst thing Lenah ..." she said to the person that had already hopped out the window and was likely out of the courtyard.

She sighed again and turned to Tomas, "You know some of this right? My Demonic powers are that of the Abyssal's and that using them for any length of time results in injury to my self right? This means I can never tap into all of my power, I'd kill myself in the attempt, ether from just drawing it out, or the release, ether way 100% power equals death for me. So I've been looking into alternatives, and I took off to test the prototypes of that venture, a pair of Beam Sabers, and a Beam Rifle." Sierra said, taking that last sip form the glass of water Lenah made for her. "My plan was go into Limbo, find so low ranking demons and do a little pest control, apparently, a group of." Sierra paused there for a moment. "Assassins is the wrong word, if they'd wanted to I'd be dead right now. Who ever they where, three of them attacked me, and some English PI that's in Japan for what ever reason. only took two of them to put me here, but I'm pretty sure one would have been enough, the third was busy with the PI, case your wondering." Sierra explained, leaning back a bit. "I never gotta chance to test the Beam Rifle, but the Sabers defiantly need work."

Seth

Seth was just exiting the building his office was in when he saw Lenah go by, heading for the team dorms, and since she hadn't been cleared to leave the medical wad yet, Seth tailed her back to his teams living quarters, and found her packing. "So, Wha cha doin?" he said, leaning against the door jam.

"Fortunately. Aside from me, the only 'assets' my clan has here are purely for observation, so don't worry about it."

"That's sort of comforting, I guess," Sol said, then chuckled. "Nah, I know how vampires can be... I also know that for as much as they don't like hunters, they also hire the very same people to deal with other creatures they don't like." He stopped it at that, it probably didn't make it much better for Luke to listen to all of this. Besides, Vik had a point, if he was seen as a threat, or even an obstacle, then most of the vampire clans would very willingly get rid of him. That was why he preferred to work from job to job, not get involved with the politics among the monsters, or even most of the hunters.

"No men for me. Too hairy. As for my plan? Get the sword, and get it home, without giving into the temptation to use it on the pricks that currently have it...I don't have nearly enough power to wield it and survive for any significant length of time."

Sol smirked at the remark about men being too hairy, perhaps especially because of Luke. The other wasn't exactly smooth, even if Sol had only seen him in his human form.

"That said, I think I've interrupted your date long enough."

"That's fair," Sol said, and took a bite of the burger that had been set down in front of him not long ago. "It was nice chatting though, right Luke?" Luke smiled.

"Yeah, it was nice meeting you and William. Though, if you see any of the other werewolves in my pack..." he trailed off, probably a bit ashamed of that he still wanted to keep it a secret. Sol nodded.

"Yeah, don't go shouting it from the tree-tops, although, I sort of doubt you're the type," he added to that. "Anyways, see you later."

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Lenah

"So, Wha cha doin?"

Lenah sighed. She had gotten this far, but for once Seth had actually paid attention and followed her into her room. She wasn't sure if he had seen her jump out of the window or just decided to follow her.

Why now, of all times?

She looked at him. "What does it look like I'm doing? I'm leaving, I can't stand being here, not if I'm just going to stand on the sideline and be useless," she huffed, and kept packing. For a moment, she said nothing, just kept focusing on what she would need. Her sweater, the school books -because she did intend to return- and...

I suppose I could try asking him too.

"If you absolutely need to know, I'm going to go home to my mother and ask her what and who my father is. I figure, I've never seen a nymph with most of my powers, and I'm just a half nymph either way, so I can't just be half human, right? I'm sure there's something more, that I'm something more powerful, and if I am, then... well, then I can figure out how to use my powers completely, perhaps even get help." She closed her suitcase.

"And you can't stop me, I've made up my mind. Of course," she gave the other a careful, trying smile. "If you looked into it, you could probably figure out who it is, and where he is, without me needing to leave. Then, when you found out, you'd have a more powerful asset at your hands. That's what kind of person you are, right? You care the most about the ones you can use, that's why you're paying so much attention to Sierra, and why your instant thought to how to deal with me was to decide I was useless in combat and try to get me over to something you think I'll be more of use in."

There was more than a hint of bitterness to her voice, Lenah had felt quite horrible when she found out that she was just going to be moved, as if she suddenly wasn't useful anymore, and that she was going to spend her time in gungnir doing paperwork.

"Yeah, it was nice meeting you and William. Though, if you see any of the other werewolves in my pack..."

??I haven?t seen you.? He said with a wink (or more of a ?blink? in his case). With nothing better to do, he made his way back to Gato and once again retired to his room. Once there, he began looking through what information he had on hand once more, on the off chance something might jump out at him, as well as placing calls to his contacts in country as well as back home to see if anyone else was managing to make any headway of their own?though he wasn?t getting his hopes up.

With nothing to do while he waited for others to get back to him, he headed to the gym to practice, and if he was lucky find a half decent sparring partner.

Seth

Seth grinned a little as Lenah talked about how he looked for and favored those he can use. "Well, any leader worthy of the title is like that, but your involvement in this project your being moved to isn't just some whim, and it's not because you got hurt, it's you being moved to a research project the results of which will make getting to and from an OP or to wounded agents, infinitely faster." Seth started "and You won't be 'sitting around doing nothing' ether. In our teams first operation we recovered texts from the demon realm on the creation of an artificial demon commonly referred to as a 'Gate', and despite being told these things are expensive as hell to maintain the heads of Gungnir are going to go ahead and grow a pair of them for R/D purposes, they seem to think they can reverse engineer them and make something just like it only less costly to maintain. Your job, is to help the Gates grow, and maintain their health, as despite being a living creature, they have more in common with plants, tree's specifically."

Seth let all that sink in while he pondered Lenah's proposal. "And the situation with Sierra is more complicated then your thinking. Lets just call it 'a favor for a friend' and leave it at that." Seth said with a tone and look that also said 'none of your business'. Seth then took out his phone and made a call, from what Lenah could here Seth was dispatching a group, to Greece, and that there was a nymph named Lenah one of them would need to speak to for details at the school. "I assume there will be no further objections?"

Tomas

Tomas was surprise when lenah just jumped out the window. He ran up to it to see where she was, but she seem to have just taken off towards her destination. Sighing as he shake his head as he heard Sierra talking to him. Listening to her about her powers and why she was off by herself.

"I see...While I do not have the same problem as you..at least not to your extent. I can't fully control my dragon side yet. I can morph myself a good bit..I would say about 50%..maybe even a bit further though never went into my full dragon mode yet. Too risky and I feel such a rush of power and state of...primal rage within me. I just lose control of myself..."

He said as he put his back up against the wall again. "Though I"m hoping while i'm here I can..hopefully soon..transform into my full dragon mode." Before he could get any further with his own story there was a knock on the door. A second after William walk in and seeming a bit out of breath.

"H-hi..."

William

William ran back towards the Med ward of the school to see how Sierra was doing. Though from the bar to the medward was a bit of a travel as he kept pace to not tired himself out too badly when he got there. After a bit, he ran into the front desk and stop. Wondering perhaps he should get something for her but decide against it. 'I don't know here that well...plus..i'm not sure if she would like that or not...'

With that out of the way, Will walk up to the front desk and got Sierra location. Doing a fast walk there as he stop right at the door of the room. Knocking lightly as he slowly enters it. Seeing Tomas already there with Sierra as he smile lightly and did a little wave. "H-hi..."

The sound of voices (and a somewhat empty stomach, admittedly and a desire to take a break from the presentation Seth wanted him to compose) drew Jarrah out of his room, and out into the smaller corridor that joined all the bedrooms. Looking down towards the voices, Jarrah noticed Seth, with his back to him, thankfully, leaning against the doorframe of the bedroom at the end of the corridor.

'Speak of the devil.... Jarrah thought as he snuck (as well as a seven foot, couple hundred pound yowie disguised as a man could sneak) the opposite way towards the kitchen, chuckling at the fact that his mental comparison was likely more than somewhat accurate.

'That's weird though, he couldn't be coming to see me about it now though could he?' Jarrah thought as he pulled a jar of Vegemite (his last, he noted, along with the thought that he would have to ask Tim to send him some more next time he wrote him) and started making himself a sandwich. His curiosity to why Seth was here lead to its logical conclusion, wondering who he was talking to. While the group had somewhat acclimatised to living together in one dorm, Jarrah was still hazy who was in what room, aside form the fairly even grouping of the men down one end of the corridor and the women down the other.

Lunch in hand, Jarrah made his way back to his room, hoping he would have to good fortune to get there without Seth seeing him, though he mentally prepared himself for that eventuality anyway, knowing it would be just his luck that the Demon would end up spotting him at the last moment.

"...I haven't seen you."

"Thanks." Sol took the chance with Vik leaving to type up a short message to Lenah, figuring she'd be more likely to run into Seth than him.

"I'm on a date. He's got 20 minutes, else Seth'll have to wait till noon tomorrow."

Having sent it to Lenah, he smiled to Luke. "Sorry about that, just some business with the guy running the group. I told him that I'm on a date, and that he has 20 minutes till I turn off my phone. Probably won't even get the message before it's too late, but, well, it's sort of important too."

"Oh, yeah, of course," Luke replied between mouthfulls. "I forget, this is sort of your job, isn't it? It's a bit odd, is all." Sol raised an eyebrow.

"Oh?"

"Well, yeah, it's... well, it's probably a stupid thing to say, but the supernatural and dangerous is a job for you. For the people on this school, it's life, their everyday. They can't just turn off their phone and stop being what they are. It's just an odd thought, I have to admit I envy you a little," Luke said, a bit uncomfortably. Sol didn't quite understand why, but he just smiled, if the other thought being a hunter was just a job, he supposed the only thing he could do to change that view was to explain it. Later, though, it was the kind of conversation where people could say the wrong thing, hardly something for a first date.

So... what to say now? I don't think calling him pretty is going to seem very genuine right now.

A small part of him hoped Seth took the chance to contact him, if only so that he could change the topic without it seeming forced.

"Well, any leader worthy of the title is like that, but your involvement in this project your being moved to isn't just some whim, and it's not because you got hurt, it's you being moved to a research project the results of which will make getting to and from an OP or to wounded agents, infinitely faster. and You won't be 'sitting around doing nothing' ether.

"So you're using my abilities to furthering your own interests? Color me surprised," Lenah replied, though it was in a more pleasant tone, and a brief smiled had appeared. "I'll see what I can do when I know who my father is, then." Of course, that only lasted for a brief moment.

"And the situation with Sierra is more complicated then your thinking. Lets just call it 'a favor for a friend' and leave it at that."

Of course.

As Seth called some of his people, Lenah felt her own phone vibrate and took it out of her bra. It was a message from Sol, who apparently just now had checked his phone.

"I assume there will be no further objections?"

"Sure, whatever," Lenah said, clearly not happy about what Seth had said about Sierra. Besides, she was a bit hesitant about allowing one of Seth's guys to see her mother's sanctuary, but given that the nymphs had more than enough power to protect themselves from those who tried to harm the pond... well, she figured it'd be fine.

He could at least have said it in a nicer tone, it's not my fault he gives of the feeling of total control freak.

She took another look at her phone. "Also, Sol says he's on a date, if you're desperate to discuss whatever it is with him, you have about 20 minutes before he's officially unreachable. I'd call him now, if I were you. If not, you know where his place is, he wrote that he'll open the door after 12 P.M." She didn't mention that he hadn't written it in detail like that, but Lenah just wanted to get going. With a pleasant, but not entirely sincere smile, she said goodbye, and pushed past Seth, spotting Jarrah from the corner of her eye. While she'd call out, he seemed to be occupied with something, or perhaps just avoiding the conversation.

Oh well.

If he wanted to be left alone, she would do just that. Besides, she had half a mind to go find a party somewhere, or at least someone to hang out with, especially with the effect of the morphine making everything feel just a little better, and a little happier.

Jarrah was halfway through his door when he heard footsteps coming down the hallway, and the Yowie waited until after they had passed him to sneak a look to the side. While he had expected to see the back of Seth's head, he had to do a double take when instead he spotted a familiar bob of pinky/blond hair.

"Lenah? Hey, wait up!" Jarrah said, backing out of his dorm and moving to catch up to the Nymph. "I didn't expect you to be up and about so soon. How've you been?"

As soon as the words left his mouth he realized it was a stupid question, but with no way to unsay it, all he could do was mentally berate himself for the brief time before Lenah's response.

Sierra

Sierra started to wonder how good the team was if so many of them where having issues with they're inborn ability's. Though before she had a chance to respond, William entered the room and greeted them both. "Hello" she replied. "I assume your day has been better?"

Seth

As Lenah pushed past him, and Jarrah seemed to try to strike up conversation with her, Seth decided to go get a hold of Sol before he went off to do what ever he was gonna do that was gonna keep him till noon, and fired off a text to him to meet him at the court yards fountain, as it was a good 'middle' ground to meet up and save both party's time. While he waited there, he spotted Juliet and Daniel. He snicked, 'Well, she wastes no time doesn't she', this thought was, however interupted.

"Setheros, Son of Jormungond, and True 'King of Want'." Seth snapped in the direction of the voice, to find, a panther, in a tailed coat like one you'd find on a tuxedo, looking up at him. "I am here on behalf of Queen Riviera. For simplicity's sake, you may call me 'Alexander'" "You'll be a throw rug if you call me the 'True King' of anything again." Seth replied, clearly angered by be greeted by that title, though the Panther just smirked the kind of smirk that said he knew it would piss Seth off. "Her highness is busy with her research, but since your messenger stated that you would be personally speaking to the Queen, well, her interest was perked. It's not often you make such personal appearances after all."

The gym was a bit of a bust. He worked on some foot work for a bit, and pummelled the bags, but there was nobody else there for him to try to spar with; a bit dejected, he cleaned himself up, got dressed and left. With no-one to spar with, and not expecting any updates from back home for hours, he decided to indulge himself in one of him little pleasures.

Growing up he?d never had any formal education, thus had never learned to read. After joining the fight against both the communists and the fascists, he?d been taught a little basic level reading, but that was just enough to get by; it wasn?t until he?d been ?turned? that he?d been given a real education and discovered, much to his own surprise, a love of reading. While many vampires he knew loved to play into the hedonistic stereotype, he was much happier with a good book?preferably with a good drink to accompany it. Making his way to the school?s library, he pushed through the doors in hopes of something interesting to pass the time.

Solomon

Sol was surprised to see his phone buzz that quickly. The good part, was that he had already finished his burger. The bad part was that Seth either hadn't been informed, or simply didn't care about the fact that Sol was on a goddamn date.

"Hey, Luke..." Luke looked up at him.

"What? Is that guy coming?" Sol shook his head.

"No, apparently he wants me to come to him," he rubbed his chin, and stood up, motioning the server for the bill. "Or rather, to the fountain, wherever that is. I should go, but... I really don't want to leave you." Luke sighed, but nodded, and finished the burger in a rather large mouthful.

"Well, fine, then we'll go back together. I've got a pack of beers and a bottle of vodka in my room. I can show you to the fountain, then go get that, and then we'll spend the rest of the night at your room. I don't think I want to get that drunk either way, I don't need to spend another day wishing I had invested in a decent pair of sunglasses. You've got some snacks, right? And something to watch something on?"

"Yes to the snacks, no to the watching something on," Sol said, a bit distracted as he paid the bill. Luke raised an eyebrow.

"Really? No laptop, or tablet, or something?"

"My phone's a smartphone? I think? I can access the internet with it?" Luke let out an amused chortle.

"Okay, noted, I'll bring my laptop. And really, it's fine, I assume this isn't something that'll happen everytime, right?"

"No, I certainly hope not," Sol replied, an let the other lead the way. He wondered if the topic from earlier was part of why Luke suddenly didn't feel like going out drinking, or if he simply preferred being inside and watching a movie. Given what Sol had seen, the latter was rather likely. After a short walk, perhaps five minutes, they were at the fountain, where Seth was already talking to someone. He gave Luke a quick wave, and the other held up his hands, signalling that he'd be back in five minutes.

"Her highness is busy with her research, but since your messenger stated that you would be personally speaking to the Queen, well, her interest was perked. It's not often you make such personal appearances after all."

"So, I hadn't expected you to interrupt my date just so that you could have a conversation with another person. I do hope you understand that, right?" Sol said, amused. "Anyways, what do you want? We were to discuss my position here and possible pay, isn't that so?" He crossed his arms, a bit impatiently.

"So, what exactly did you have in mind?"

Lenah

"Lenah? Hey, wait up! I didn't expect you to be up and about so soon. How've you been?"

"Oh, hi Jarrah," Lenah said, smiling, but still somewhat miffed after her meeting with Seth. "Not too good, I've been bored, and it hurts a lot. At least I've stopped coughing up blood, and they repaired my ribs." She tilted her head, though.

"But, I feel better now. And, I'm not planning on going back in, nuh uh," she continued, giggling to herself. It became clear that there was something a bit off with her, but then again, Jarrah hadn't talked to her that much, perhaps he wouldn't notice that she was unusually bubbly, even for her.

"So, how have you been? I heard that you guys got to do a super-fun mission while I was out sick, how unfair," she said, making a brief pouty face before she smiled again. "Sol told me all about it, though, he's been visiting me and updating me about what's going on. He even asked me to go spy on Sierra, make sure she's fine, he's a bit of a worrier, that one, though he probably won't let anyone know." She started wrapping her hair around her finger.

"Oh! Also, Sierra's fine, if you haven't heard. Seth says her demonic presence has been stolen, though, like, taken out of her, but she didn't believe me when I tried to tell her." By the end of her talking, Lenah hardly took a breath as she spoke, speaking quickly and eagerly, having forgotten all about the pain, and about Seth being a jerk.
