It isn't a big deal. What would you do if a girl you didn't like was affectionate towards you? The same thing should work here.

But for this situation just say you aren't gay and your not interested and your in a relationship. Be nice though...since he is your friend and no one likes rejection.

I have a feeling that this sort of thing will either work brilliantly or not at all. So I would actually recommend going one step further and breaking his heart. Point out all of his flaws, everything from a wonky nose to low intelligence and terrible taste in music. And once you have completely destroyed any sense of dignity he has left you say "Even if I was gay, I could never love you." It is a horrible thing to do but if Yoshema's idea fails then it really is the only way.
