Don't get me wrong, I don't mind people being great anime fans at all. It's just the word otaku is tossed around so liberally in the west when in Japan it's a very very VERY derogatory term. If I don't want to see you address yourself as an otaku is for your own good, unless you want to have Japanese people eyeing you disgusted claiming you are one.

Four highschool girls join the music club to try and save it from being abolished, one of the girls has no musical teaching whatsoever. Hilarity ensues. I've been awake for many hours, so my descriptions are doubtless somewhat lacking. The only advice I can offer is to go watch it for yourself. It's done by KyoAni, who've also done Haruhi, Lucky Star, Full Metal Panic and Clannad, if you needed any assurances that the quality of art is good. It is, very much so.

<--- Geek. I've been called cute, but that's about it. I'm sure that there are some geeks out there that society would consider hot just as there are some that are the exact opposite. It's all based on personal preference and such. There's attractive people in all areas of life and of all types. Granted having a similarity such as a common interest definitely increases the sexy factor, hense why geekiness to other geeks can be more readily accepted as being sexy.
