because theres always been angry cavemen banging down our doors?

unless your talking about wars but then thats a whole otherargument
There are, however, thanks to the efforts of muscular people(police, military) you don't have to fear for your safety.

You need muscles to operate a gun.
ummmm "literally" yes

but you don't need to be rediculously strong
I'm sure every police force and every military on the face of the earth would disagree with you.

Religion has very little to do with god. It's actually about controlling people.

Most people are very angry and consumed by fear.

My little pony is the dumbest thing ever. Grow up children.

Voting for the Liberal party will only bring us pain.

The general population doesnt need guns. There's no good reason for it.

Universal healthcare is essential in a civilised society.

Not everyone should become vegetarians. It's not healthy for everyone. Vegans and vegos who tell people that they should make rational vegos like me look bad.

Food additives are causing our obesity epidemics.

Cures for diseases have been stopped because drug companies make money from sick people, not from healthy people. (I'm looking into the whole large doses of vitamin C as a cure for cancer.)

Most people dont realise that we are a part of this world, not it's conquers.
I agree with you on everything except for the obesity part. If additives are causing obesity why are some people largely unaffected by the obesity epidemic although they consume the same foods as the people who succumb to obesity?

you can still use a handgun..just depends how effectivly, but even then...

I'm not talking about storming in with an AK-47 or being a solder/policeman

besides...somone had to design them guns....

EDIT: I'd also like to point out that muscular and "fit" arent always the same...even solders arent actually as ripped as Arnold

I believe that a sentient being should be given protection under the law to do whatever they want with non-sentient ones.
I feel that monetary gain is a perfectly acceptable reason for war.
I support capital punishment for rape and serial murder.
I believe the age of consent should be determined by understanding the risks.
I support the production and sale of illicit substances for profit by the government.
I think that nothing should be a forbidden topic in media, even those blatantly hateful.
The second Matrix movie was actually my favorite.
I think that women are on average more valuable to society than men.
I think murder is justifiable.
I don't support gun control.
I'd argue that as a paedophile rape is more justifiable than a normal person.
I believe that for the government the freedom of citizens should be more important than their well-being. On a similar vein I think that monetary gain is almost as important.

I'll probably think of more later.

I like vanilla ice cream.

I don't like chocolate.

I don't like coffee.

I don't like any Call of Duty before or beyond 4.

I like Tron Legacy

I like Valve. (seriously, this is a minority opinion around these parts now-a-days)

I like Star Wars: Episode 1

I don't like Star Wars: Episode 6

I liked all of the Matrix films.

I think Tarantino is a talentless, once-trick hack who's coasting on his "rep".

I think Will Ferrell is an awful, awful "comedian" and a worse actor/writer.

I liked Stargate Universe

I think Bioware is not that great at story telling.

I think Dark Souls is an awful game and From Software are bad designers.

I think Relic Entertainment never gets enough love.

I could go on but I'm feeling lazy. Besides, it's late and it's not like anyone ever reads the other posts in these threads. (making this sentence both ironic and moot) ;P
And now you have been quoted at a later time to prove you wrong so now it's no longer moot or valid :D

OT: I think going away for college is actually beneficial.

I think the ability to listen is far more important than the ability to talk.

Sorry bud, you're not a special snowflake, and being proud of having different, "unusual" opinions is moronic. Find better ways to comfort yourself.
I have no idea what you're talking about.

Funny you should think 4chan is weird because those opinions are exactly what you see when you go there.
It's also a near-universal opinion on the internet that 4chan is weird. Mostly said by people who only know of /b/ and never actually went there.
No, 4chan is a congregation of weird, nerdy, white knight, pedos who lack muscles, and also have high pitched voices. One of my friends frequents /b/ and he fits the description exactly. He's a failure and coward and real life, but one of the most vicious people you'd ever encounter behind a veil of anonymity.

Fuck /b/ and anyone who feels the need to white knight it.
I was not defending /b/, and I hope you realize that a single friend of yours does not mean the entire site (and it's a big site) is the same.
There aren't too many deviations from the profile. Of course there will always be anomalies.

The Avengers (2012) was not a good movie.

Ang Lee made a good Hulk movie.

Nickelback is not a terrible band.

CD's are more enjoyable than MP3's.

Apple software products are a step sideways from viruses.

Joss Whedon is a very limited writer.

eBay should still sell spells, potions, curses and anything else that prove the old saying "A fool and their money are soon parted."

Free-form Podcasts are wastes of time, both for the people making them and the people listening to them.

Being a victim does not absolve one of contributing to their own situation.

Comics aren't weird - they're downright stupid.

Team Fortress 2 is the most enjoyable FPS game currently available.

Anybody who talks about finding a cure for cancer is either grossly oversimplifying what "cancer" is, or has an extremely limited understanding of it.

Valve is basically the game industries Wal-Mart, albeit with better business practices and an emphasis on consumer satisfaction.

The first Mass Effect's gameplay was garbage when compared to the sequels (and wasn't very good in general). Additionally, despite EA's marketing attempts (which were likely just to placate the screams of the fans), throughout the entire series the fact that your choices were ultimately irrelevant in the grand scheme of the universe is present.

Miniatures produced by Games Workshop aren't as overpriced as people think they are (not to say that they aren't overpriced, but given the various costs the company endures they aren't completely unreasonable).

The Dark Knight Rises was the best of Nolan's Batman Trilogy. Additionally, the target audience for Nolan's Batman films was not fans of the Batman franchise.

Mockingjay was the best book of the Hunger Games Trilogy.

The Twilight books are far from the worst series that I have ever read. Additionally, Stephanie Meyer is not a bad (as in untalented) author, she just knows her target audience.

PC gaming is responsible for the graphical arms race which has arose in the industry. While PC gaming has also introduced other positive factors into the industry, it's net effect breaks even at best.

US Economic policy is based on lies and propaganda that has been repeated so much that it has become common fact opposed to actual thought, evidence, or science.

The Song of Fire and Ice (game of thrones) series is extremely over rated.

When comparing computer gaming to console gaming, specifically in reference to FPS games, but also 3D platformers, PC's get better aiming, Consoles get better movement.

Pretend as much as we like, human beings are no longer part of the natural order of things. That is not to say that we should disregard the environment, quite the opposite, but to say that the same rules and motivations that apply to wild animals still apply to us is rapidly becoming a weaker argument.

Homeopathic medicines and "all natural" products are complete BS, and belief in them is a refuge of the desperate and the stupid. Individuals close to me have died in part because of alternative healthcare, and I have actively stopped supporting politicians because of their approval of such medicines. I also count chiropractic medicine as a homeopathic medicine.

Animated and more cartoony graphics are generally better than graphics that try to appear more realistic. 5 years from now the winners of "best graphics of the year" will look nearly unplayable, whereas stuff like Boarderlands and Wind Waker will still be enjoyable to anybody.

The only thing that we should be using oil for is the production of plastics.

As a society, we need to eat significantly less meat than we do right now. We also need to eat fewer corn products (seriously, look at how many things that you eat include corn starch).

Within the next 10 to 20 years, we will reach the limits of silicon based microchip technology. Society will likely collapse when we reach that point.

ALL religious people? On what basis do you make this ridiculous generalisation?

JeffBergGold said:

I think stereotypical macho jocks are likely to be pedophiles, killers and other such things due to their mass amounts of aggression that could be exhibited in that way. Unlike nerds who are generally passive-agressive at worst.

Well, they have genes that do not make them muscular. Perhaps not "bad" genes.

While we're playing this mass generalization game, all black people are good at sports and love friend chicken. I know this because I met a black person who fit the description exactly.

Also, this was sarcastic, so don't kill me mods.
