I dont like sports games that much.........I mean if you want to play tennis or soccer go to a freaken park AND PLAY!!!. You cant say that for FPS though, it would sound like.....if you want to shoot stuff then go to a freaken mall AND SHOOT!!!

I have never been a fan of sports games, I always said why play a game about something you can do in real life...but then again I can't really play professional sports in real life...hmm.

Anyway, sport games for me. Racing games are ok but football or ice hockey are just booooooooring.
The only genre I "dislike" is Sports, mainly because I just don't really see the fascination with it as such. I can't really say I hate it though.
The trouble these days mainly comes in when you're trying to actually assign genres to games, these days they're all mixed, RPG and Action seem inseparable these days and most FPS games include some light RPG elements, and then there's the Sandbox, which these can mean anything from RTS-light to Action game to shooter to RPG. Hell even RTS games tend to add RPG elements these days (if only in character advancement).

I don't really hate any genres. There are some I don't play very often. The sports games, for one. It's not that I don't enjoy playing them, it just seems to be the same game over and over with new team members. I used to play them a lot more, when they were a tad more generic and didn't have a new one every year. Although I do tend to play the Golf games, mostly because they give you new courses to try.
Also, MMOs, I just don't like grinding that much. I played Guild Wars for a couple months, but then I got tired of it.

I don't know if this counts, but online FPS. Just can't stand getting dissed out of my brain for being a noob because of latency problems (Fuck you Australia..)!

That costs a lot of money. Playing basketball or soccer is entirely free. Playing hockey costs a few bucks for ice and skate rental.
PC FPS games. They just don't work if you ask me, it shouldn't be a continuing market. FPS should be limited to console. Similarly, console RTS games should be stopped. They also do not work and should be limited to PC.
RTS. I don't have the patience y'see? (Even though I can grind in RPGs for hours... Weird logic.)
wow really almost all of you hate jrpgs, how many have you even played? you can't just play one and say you hate them, i mean hell play tales of symphonia or tales of vesperia they are considered jrpgs but you never once go into a menu to click the attack button and make them attack its basically a fighting game with a shit ton of special moves and you level up, or star ocean which is similar to it, or how about infinite undiscovery well yeah sure it was a shit game but it wasnt one where you went into menus to attack, stop being so god damn blind and hating on things you dont know about

Gotta disagree with the RTS stance for ya, it's much more than just giving orders and watching. On the other hand, I hate console RTS and sport games.
