Most JRPGs are hard to get into cause they confuse me.
Also, most sports games, I don't see the point of there being a new one every year.

Sports games to a point, I used to like the odd football match but it seems most of my friends have a small rage fit if you win and then demand rematches until they get a win.

The one I just cannot get into is Championship Manager. I honestly do not see the attraction in playing a sports game where you don't actually play the game.

Any thing with turn based combat. I love the stories of Final Fantasy but the combat system is just soooooo fucking boring.

That and sports games. I just don't get it.

I remember JRPGs being fun with decent stories, but somewhere along the way the graphics engine just kept having plastic surgery year after year while the story and game play were left to rot. They seem to be popular but I don't see the appeal. No matter how much lipstick they add, I just can't bring myself to kiss the pig.

Gears of War, I've tried to like it. I almost fell asleep after 30 minutes. Also, X3.

Games where the single player is meant for two players, and when you're trying to play through it solo, it becomes really frustrating to deal with your AI partner. *Shakes fist at RE5*
He, I suggest you get a friend. Me and my mate played it a bit yesterday, and as soon as you get through the sluggish controls and work with them rather than against them, the split-screen coop gets immensely fun!
Yes, I did play RE5 through with a friend and it was a lot of fun. But sometimes, I just like to relax and play a single-player game by myself you know? That's what single-player's for. Not single-player that should be played with two people.
Yea, I hear you. Sadly, for RE5 there is no easy solution I'm afraid. I'm going to keep my copy of RE5 a coop only affair and save my SP lusts for something else.

JRPG's and pretty much any sports game.
Don't get me wrong, I love American football and Rugby, and I even tried playing FF VII & X amd some blue dragon, but these games just absolutly bore me to tears.

Probably racing games. They all seem just the same to me. No matter how next-gen they get. Race, win a car, be in first, win more cars, win more tracks, race more, beat it in a specific time, win new cars, beat it even faster, win new tracks, beat it on hard, win everything. I know repetition is the father of learning, but damn!

Fighting games and racing games. Pretty much any game that has no story. I just sit there wondering, "why the hell am I doing this?".

Beat 'em ups, shoot 'em ups, and "realistic" racing games.
I love Mario Kart type games, but NFS just bores me.
