Turn based RPGs. Like Final Fantasy. Good series, don't get me wrong. But the combat system makes me want to punch someone.
i really hate simulators of any kind. driving, flying, whatever... theres never been one i enjoyed
i also am not a fan of most MMORPG's. the only one i like and still play is Tibia. also, Phobos Online was awesome but it seems like it will never come out. all i got to play was a test server in 2007
and i suck at RTS, but i loved warcraft 2. and halo wars was fun
the entire japanese sub-genre. cant stand the corniness level
and i used to not like platformers but now with XBLA i love em

mainly sports games. year after year the same game is released with the year after the name. if any other game released the exact game year after year with only slight graphic improvements they would be laugh off and never sell a copy. mostly the same players same rules and same statiums.
imagine COD being release several years in a row with the same maps and guns except for maybe 1-2 new guns and slightly shinier graphics.
imagine if a MMORPG releases an expansion every year and all it did was improve the graphics a little

Personally im very open minded when it comes to games, and while there's genre's that I play more than others, the only one I really don't like is sports games.
I don't really get the point of them, why sit indoors and play football when you can go outside and play football, and it is much better.
The only sports games to make sense are the golf games, because the real life sport is time consuming and it costs a absurd amount of money. Not just for the admission price, but for the clubs aswell.

Could we count 'fanservice' as a genre?
By this I mean not just a game that shows a lot of skin, but a game that shows skin in an attempt to cover up just how little work has been put into the game itself.
An analogy: Dead or Alive 4 shows a lot of skin but also has a complex and enjoyable combat system too. Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball shows a lot of skin and sucks in terms of gameplay.

Other examples of the 'fanservice' genre include: X-Blades. Onee-chan Ganbaru. etc etc.
