What a genius he is, everyone hated the NOOO from Revenge of the Sith, so he decides its a good idea to put in it Return of the Jedi as well.

And this is the 3rd Krayt sound to appear, its been a while since i saw the completely unedited A New Hope, but i remember the sound Obi-Wan uses to be perfectly fine. The warbling sound he made in the remastered version was kinda stupid but i could suffer it, now comes no.3, which is just really, really bad.

I am a little ashamed to admit it but I kinda like the new Big No. Maybe I'm just so wrapped up in the drama that it doesn't effect me so much but I at least don't mind it. Also I like the new Krayt dragon roar, at least it's not that cartoony slide whistle sound anymore.

Why is it that such little changes matter so much to star wars fans? The original copies are out there.
Seemingly insignificant things can completely change the intent of a scene. In the case of the first clip, it removes all the subtlety from the character. Instead of the viewer seeing Vader's internal moral struggle as he silently watches the Emperor try to murder his son and finally making the decision to betray his master, Lucas has him just scream his feelings for everyone to see. The former has a greater emotional impact because it follows the first rule of storytelling "Show, don't tell."

In the words of the Robot Devil "You can't just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!"

And the original copies actually aren't available. Whenever Lucas remasters one of these films, he destroys all the previous versions he can get his hands on. Unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars on a VHS tape someone sells on ebay (which I'm sure Lucas has bought already), the original prints are gone forever.

Its true! Its a pretty universally accepted position among SW nerds that George can neck pouch all over the movies, all we want is for him to throw in the original unedited cuts. Either on a bonus disk or seperate release. His suppression of the original versions it what erks the masses.

Wicket has eyes.

You have got to be kidding me. I... Just... No. That isn't right.
I don't get it, what's the problem? Wicket always had eyes.
Apparently, adding irises ruins everything.

And Star Wars fans wonder why I don't take them seriously.
Dude, wtf are you in a Star Wars thread then? This is what people do. Go into a My little pony thread and whine about not taking them seriously. If you think Wickets eyes look good, then, frankly, SW nerds dont want your opinion.

I like to draw, very much so. I like to think I'm good at it, having been doing it for a while. Sometimes, I'll sit and draw for a few hours, and eventually have something in front of my that I'm somewhat proud of. However, I'll notice something that doesn't sit quite right with me, and I'll try to fix it, and by doing so, I accidentally make the whole thing worse, and then I'd try to fix that. Maybe I would, but it still wouldn't be as good as it was at first, so I'd try to restore it, and I'd fuck it up again, until I eventually got it back to something satisfactory, and then just stop drawing.
I don't do this as much as I did a few years ago, and every once and a while, I'll still do it, but for the most part, I learned. I know when to just stop drawing.

George Lucas never learned to stop. Fucking. Drawing.
You wouldn't happen to be me, would you?

everyone hated the nooooo?
I liked it, and it makes an awsome scene to link when bad stuff happens.

OT:I think now he just want's to see how much he can troll us/get away with.
Assuming those are real changes, that has to be true. Why else would he take one of the most mocked things in the entire new series and just copy/paste it into the originals?

Also it's possible he's trying to degrade the originals so the new ones don't seem as bad in comparison when new generations who haven't seen the originals watch the movies.

The bastards done it again!!! Still cant believe he put Hayden Christensen or how ever the hell you spell his last name at the end of Epi. VI. This time, Samuel L. Jackson and Natalie Portman will probably make cameos. Hell, at this point Im expecting Jar Jar Binks to show up.
actually he does show up, in the previous changes to the trilogy you can hear him in the background in Return Of The Jedi when all the people in the galaxy are cheering, you can hear him when they cut to Naboo saying "Weesa Is Freeeee!".

Word on the street is that the Prequals are getting the same treatment! Nobody seems to care. Because...heh its the prequals.

Biggest change know so far is digital Yoda being put in TPM! Cause that puppet was just bad.

Is it all the original? No special ANYTHING? If so, I might have to try and get them somehow.

I loved the second video, the first one was stupid, not because he's changing the film but because it sounds stupid.

This. I know why he is doing it but it's just getting way out of hand now. Some things i can stand like this.
But that is just silly. Adding things like the no and the yell thingy is just ridiculous. Might as well just have him come out screaming obscenities.

You have no idea how much that video made my day.
I can barely type for I'm giggling so much.

The quality of anything in Star Wars is inversely proportional to the amount of George Lucas involved. This has been true since the very beginning and is just as true (if not more true) now.

If you find his (amusingly contradictory) interviews, you begin to realise that every single good thing about Star Wars was either something he was somehow forced to do or something that he did by accident.

Thankfully, he is so bad at everything that he even occasionally fails to fail.

Lucas, be honest with us.....are those changes you've made....REALLY necessary?! Its not like they'll add anything to the movies other than lots of nerd rage which is happening as I type this! Sure they're your property but doesn't mean they're good ideas. If it ain't broke, don't fix it right? So stop with these pointless alterations and start making some new movies, leave Star Wars alone for once!
