I'm sorry, when did I say "never" in any of my posts? Oh, right. I didn't. OLD games you shouldn't have to worry about spoilers. Those are old enough that no one cares. Resident Evil 5, though? That game is just over 3 years old. I don't think it's old enough to not worry about spoilers in random conversation. Now how about we just agree to disagree and move on.
3 years i think is fine, hell, i forget the game existed till it was mentioned just now, so chances are, any one who hasn't played it by now likely won't care if some minor detail it spoiled

OT:

i hate the flying centipede boss in DMC3, just takes to long to take out :/

and a special nod goes to Colru from Vindictus, for having an unblockable attack that covers the whole combat area and has a very limited window to get to safe ground, that is only safe part of the time from my experience

I can't remember which Tenchu it was but there was a boss that you fought around a campfire, if memory serves correctly then that boss fight was quite difficult. Although maybe I found it difficult because I had run out of items?

Also, the end dungeon boss on Desktop Dungeons is always difficult, perhaps even more difficult to reach than to kill...

EDIT: I think I read the question wrong? I was thinking of difficult boss battles, not bad boss battles.

You're not the only one. I still get surprised when I find out people are angry about the change of character in the new DmC game. Because Dante has never changed before, amirite?
His new design sucks, don't get me wrong, but the key problems are that the combat and dialogue in the new game are all shit. Witty dialogue has given way to using the word "fuck", and the combat is janky as hell.
So you've played the game, right? Otherwise you wouldn't be making such bold claims.

And you can assure me that we won't be getting such gold lines as this?

Sorry that slipped

OT im classifying Blight Town from Dark Souls as a boss, So Blight Town is my answer, poisonous ground, dudes with blow darts rickety platforms jesus it was frustrating, oh sorry did i spoil Dark Souls? Trollz...

IMO people who are spoilering just for the shake of doing it are a bit of a jerk...

Just.. why? I dont see what you gain in ruining other people´s fun.

BNK-3R from Borderlands 2. Ye gods, it was just a bullet sponge with no challenge at all.
Yah, that was annoying. I was just like, are you gonna fight or fly around all day making this battle longer than it needs to be.
But my absolute worst boss fight ever has to go to the last Boss of Conan. That was the most poorly designed piece of crap boss fight I ever had to deal with.

That still doesn't change the fact that it's a plot device central to her character in the game. All on its own it's not THAT big of a deal since it's vague, but the fact is that it's a spoiler. And people, more often than not, seek to unravel that which they do not know, and when they know, they find out it's one of the larger spoilers for that game. And no it's not a spoiler that Jill is in the game. It's Resident Evil. It's going to have her in there somewhere. That much is obvious. Having her as a player character during Mercenaries is a bit irrelevant to the topic at hand. Mercenaries is outside the story and has nothing to do with it.

What it spoils is that somewhere along the line there's a boss fight that includes getting into a battle with Jill, and it spoils it to anyone who HASN'T played Resident Evil 5. Not everyone discovered they enjoy this series at its inception. The fact is that spoilers are still spoilers. Argue all you want, but this particular spoiler IS a big spoiler regardless of how vaguely worded it is. It could've at least been hidden behind tags for those that DON'T want to know or see it.

As I said, it's common courtesy. A basic respect. It doesn't appear many people even know what that is.
Never played the game, and I didn't know it was anything BUT an arachnid until you started talking about it. Here's thinking the problem isn't with the fact it's spoiled, mate.
