But no, everyone must jump on the cool-train bandwagon of laughing at the "stupid whore" and defending this gallant "gentleman" (and I say "gentleman" with as much scorn as possible).
Despite being a fake story, it's quite frankly just the opposite of the typical reaction ""empowered woman" getting revenge on pig/misogynistic/dirtbag/douchebag boyfriend for cheating on her". No?

In your opinion perhaps but however dorky or whatever you find a Narnia tattoo someone is going to like it or find it cute, not so what she ended up with.

I'd put this on a level with someone carving 'Slut' into her stomach, as well as being an assault its way out of proportion to cheating on a guy.

And no i dont cheat on my partner and I would be horrified if i found out i was being cheated on, never in a million years would i do something like this though.
You say that, but really, given the chance, would you not in a fit of passion do something stupid, especially when said cheating ***** offers you the chance on a plate?

I might agree with your 'level' shit if she'd been tied down and forced to undergo the tattooing against her will. She wanted a tattoo, she used her cheated boyfriend as the pen and got what was righteously deserved.

Have you heard of Karma?

Yay, yet again I am sickened by the members of the Escapist (at least it is on a fake story for once!).

Condoning this? Saying the guy was a hero/in the right? That "the *****" deserved it?

I bet most of you were outraged at the story of the bloke getting his penis cut off. I bet most of you would be outraged if this man had thrown acid in the lasses face.
Welcome to humanity, please join the 'Life should be fair' line, its about a trillion people long.

But that said, how can you cheat on your boyfriend with his best friend, expect him not to notice, then get a tattoo from him?

I don't see this as a 'She deserved it' situation, its more a 'What did you expect?' one.
And lawyers? WHERE'S THERE IS BLAME, THERE IS A CHANCE FOR ME TO CLAIM A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF THE WINNING FEE!

What is this nonsense. Women aren't a team unit; you can't take something one insane, sadistic woman did and use it as justification for a less sadistic act committed by some man to a completely different woman. Every person is an individual. The genders are not opposite sides in an adversarial conflict.

Story's FAKE, anyway. Please edit that into the OP.
we aren't saying women are a team unit, just that it's easier for them to get away with pulling shit on guy's than vice versa, and that's unfair.

Yeah i have heard of Karma but i still dont agree permanently disfiguring her is on the same level as cheating, hearts mend FFS, she is going to need laser surgery to get rid of that and until she does she's going to have to cover up.

And yeah hand on heart i would Never, EVER do anything like that to anyone, even someone i hated and i would be physically disgusted and refuse to associate with anyone who did.

Typically those stories involve the woman burning the bloke's clothes, or chucking them out of the house or similar. Whilst I would say that shouldn't happen (and would be grounds for a suit for damages), it is hardly on a par with permanent scarring (which is what would result from a tattoo of that size, regardless of what removal procedures are undertaken).

The story about the penis removal (which I brought up earlier) did receive wide condemnation, as did the talkshow that made light of the whole affair, and such condemnation is appropriate and just.

Please cut the condescension.

Whilst it was not appropriate to get the tattoo from him (particularly as she didn't realise that he knew), and was a stupid move, it does in no way justify the bloke's actions. At all. Were this a real case, she's damn right to seek a lawyer. Any removal procedure is incredibly expensive and leaves a high chance of permanent scarring (in this hypothetical case).

I've had people cheat on me and betray me before, and yes I have been angry. However, I have never once thought of doing something that could easily be classed as permanently disfiguring them, and frankly think that support for such actions is either people wanting to appear "edgy and cool" or borderline psychopathic.
