And an age of consent of 12 is just wrong IMO. Arkansas many years ago had an age of consent of 13, and i thought that was bad.
The age of consent in the Vatican is 12 (Due to the treaty that recognised Vatican City as a Sovereign State).

Thought I might throw that out there...

Huh? Are you serious? Fuck... That's the same age difference as me and my oldest sister for god's sake.

I didn't know a female could reproduce at age 10...

I take claims on Wiki with a grain of salt when it isnt something big. I highly doubt a 5 year old could give birth, considering at that age, females dont produce eggs.

Now a 10 year old could. Females go through puberty earlier than males, and puberty is never a really set age. Females can go though puberty as early as 10, depending on many different factors. Females dont produce eggs until puberty, this is also when periods start because the body is producing eggs.

And an age of consent of 12 is just wrong IMO. Arkansas many years ago had an age of consent of 13, and i thought that was bad.

I would put my money on a rape, or molestation, that happened inside the family on this one. If i were the attorney general, all males of the family would be my first suspects.

I'm sure you've been corrected, but I thought I'd shed some light.

1)Women do not produce eggs.
2)We are born with all the eggs we will ever have. Incidentally not all actually used in the reproduction cycle, meaning we will also die with most/many of our eggs still in the ovaries.
3)The Menstrual cycle/PMS/Period is actually when the egg is moved from the ovarian to the uterus to be fertilized/make a baby.
4)Puberty marks the beginning of a woman's ability to carry a child and why the cycles start.

The youngest "mother-to-be" I have heard of was 9 years old. Apparently, they were trying to decide whether she would have the baby or try to have an abortion, and it was not on the news ever again.

Also, women don't produce ova with puberty. Mammals are born with all of the ova.
