Stuff like this makes me sick, and that's not even factoring in what sex each party is. How is cruelty like this funny? How is causing embarrasment and suffering fun in any way? Christ, there aren't words to express the rage I feel right now.

Is the mother huffing gas, fuck yes you press charges, make sure those girls never think it would be funny to commit this serious crime or any crime again. Big deal they get punished at home. All this is teaching to girls is that they can get away with shit like this.

How fucking utterly completely disgusting this was, I would be crying right now for this boy if I wasn't so fucking irate.

Agreed. On both points. Seriously, at their age they know what sex is. It doesn't matter what the 'legal age of consent' is, it isn't like when you turn 16 you are suddenly endowed with all the knowledge of the male and female reproductive systems. So you can't say that the girls were too young for it to be sexual assault. Unless they were naive shut-ins, they knew exactly what they were doing.

Also, they are calling it 'a prank that went too far'? They're recording it! They're laughing at him! They're taking all of his clothes off! In a public place no less! And I very much doubt they were thinking "You know what's a good prank? We'll jump this kid and pin him to the ground, give him a little scare" and when they did it they all suddenly thought that getting him naked was a fantastic idea.

It would be a prank that went too far if they'd put a whoopie cushion on his seat and it had escalated to teasing him with fart noises all day. This wasn't 'a prank', it was an act of cruelty that should count as sexual assault at least.

Nice.....
Sorry, i had to say it,

In all seriousness though, either boys need to be punished more lightly for this kind of stuff, or girls need to be punished more harshly.

I know this has all been said before, but that was definitely sexual assault. I personally found it very difficult to watch, I had to stop it a couple of seconds after the video started. Those girls are malicious and who knows what kind of things they could get up to in the future. I know it sounds like I am jumping the gun, but if the girls know they got away with it once, they can do it again. Everyone seems to forget (at least in the justice system) that girls/women can be just as malicious and vindictive as men and are just as capable.

Stereotypes to gender still exist.
The proof is that if the three people removing his clothes were male, they would have been sentenced.
This is no different than treating the law differently for people based on their ethnicity or religion.

I...am so mad. Honestly I haven't seen a news story that has made me this mad in a long time. Heck even the news people are making me mad by calling it a "Prank gone too far" It's not a prank gone to far, it's full blown rape if you ask me.

Ummmm.... am I supposed to type that upside down? Or...what?

This is depressing. Really, really depressing. And I never get depressed.

From articles I read (can't watch the video, don't want to and slow 'net), he didn't even fight back, only struggled to break free and get his clothes back. Why? Has our society engrained in us so much that "boys hitting girls" is so wrong we don't do it, even to protect ourselves?

Well thats got me all riled up just before bed. I'm most annoyed at the police and media downplaying the incident. I think the big thing is not only would the police react different if this was boys stripping a girl but the media would too, then it would be proof of our broken generation and the evils of youtube and the like. "School yard sexual assault shared on youtube" would be the headline.

Oh my god, this is vile. Yeah, if roles were reversed it would be sexual assault, and as others mentioned, child pornography.

And while I'm upset at the money, how about being more upset with the police officer for only saying that even if she had pressed charges, it would be a misdemeanor battery offense. Hell no - the involuntary stripping of clothes is definitely grounds for sexual assault. Those girls are vile and deserve to be punished thoroughly and by the law.

Wait, so if I get stabbed by someone he gets charged for assault whether I press charges or not, but you mentally scar someone and you get nothing because the charge wasn't followed up on? Now those are some serious flaws in the law system.

The Unworthy Gentleman said:
What needs to happen is proper discipline from the parents of the children, although with the girls being 14 it may be that the criminal charges would be the only useful option.
I say we do this like they did in the 50's. We make the parents slap the shit out of them to make sure they behave in the future or else more shit will get slapped.

This makes my blood boil. In todays society, where some hyperfeminist women take offense when I so much as hold the door for them, they get away with shit like this? Bull. Fucking. Shit. If I were one of these girl's parents I'd beat them. Possibly with a cane.

Words cannot express my outrage.

I think the mother is ignorant of what happened.

If you reverse the act (three 14 year old boys stripped an 11 year girl old naked) they would've gone for attempted gang-rape.

Instead...a joke.
it,s only assault when guy,s do it.
OT
she should have pressed charges parents and school can,t punish bullying.

i agree with the thread creatator, if the genders were reversed, it would be " 8th graders rape young girl, ( and fox new would probly blame it on video games) its a complete duoble standard

This is America, where we have adherents to a particular religion actively encouraging their kids to beat up anyone they think is gay and then screaming religious persecution when their kids get in trouble.

Bullying isn't viewed as a big thing here. Not saying that it's right, just saying that's how it is.

Edit: That mother should be ashamed of herself. And I can't imagine how the brother feels...He now has to live with the fact that, if he ever has an issue that he needs parental help with, his mother is just not gonna be there.

This is cuntish, BUT no good would come from pursuing it. Needless to say, the girls parents know abut it, and would be punished accordingly, if for no other reason than bringing shame to the family.

In fact, being in America, I'm incredibly surprised they haven't been expelled. People get kicked out of school there for much less (personal experiences FTW)
If they were male, they would have likely been convicted of sexual assault as adults and had their entire lives ruined.

They're little girls though, so a slap on the wrist is all that will come of it. That's how it works these days.

If that happened to me at school I would have at the very least blown a punch.

Goddamn it I hate double-standards...
