I think the mother is ignorant of what happened.

If you reverse the act (three 14 year old boys stripped an 11 year girl old naked) they would've gone for attempted gang-rape.

Instead...a joke.
Well, there's established gender roles for you. The whole video is revolting. And the school can't do anything. I don't care what contrived reason they come up with-this is sexual assault. These fools know right from wrong. And the mother does NOTHING!

I want to know was this thought out or an impulse (a strange one at that).

And i have a rant lined up about how I get in trouble for treating everybody equal on a regular basis.

This is cuntish, BUT no good would come from pursuing it. Needless to say, the girls parents know abut it, and would be punished accordingly, if for no other reason than bringing shame to the family.

In fact, being in America, I'm incredibly surprised they haven't been expelled. People get kicked out of school there for much less (personal experiences FTW)
If they were male, they would have likely been convicted of sexual assault as adults and had their entire lives ruined.

They're little girls though, so a slap on the wrist is all that will come of it. That's how it works these days.
Don't be ridiculous, of course they wouldn't. Don't believe the crap that the news networks and papers peddle.

Children can't get done for sexual assault (unless they ACTUALLY sexually assault) and even then, it doesn't stay on their permanent records.

People need to stop feeling sorry for themselves, male and female alike, and accept that there is bullying. This wasn't sexual assault, this was humiliation, and yeah, perhaps the kids should get expelled, to both split up the children, and to teach them a lesson. Nothing more. Too many people in this world loose their lives (metaphorically and physically) over one silly mistake.

Either way, we cannot judge this situations fairly, because all we have is a single news report, and like all news, it makes stories that bring in business, not what actually happened

$150-300/hr says that kid is going be to working these issues out with a pro dominatrix in his adult life.

Just saying, these kinda incidents have a way of causing some screwy sexuality later on.

If that was me being stripped, I would probably have caused serious neck injury to one of the girls, considering the fact that eleven year-old me was prone to having fits of sub-psychotic rage, has already snapped a live, young adult pig's neck bare handedly.

OT: All I can say is that the mother should at least confront the girls' parents, as the girls may well be sufficiently responsible for their actions. That, and double standards such as this are logically unacceptable.

People say that the kid should have fought back. I notice there is some discussion as to how the case would have been handled had he hit one of the girls.

The case is, though, that the girls were all two to three years older than him.
An 11 year old boy has no chance of overpowering three 13-14 year old girls. This is speaking from personal experience.
I feel very confident in saying that had he hit them, they would also have resorted to violence, and the situation could have gotten far uglier for the boy. Being passive was his only option.

Trust me, it isn't that surprising.

I was bullied much more severely by other guys...
and NONE of them were EVER expelled or brought up on charges.
In fact... I was forced to forgive the worst of them BY the school's administration.

I don't see how gender or sex is relevant here. You can make it an issue of gender and sex, but what point does that serve? Not unlike any time someone sees anyone but a white coloured individual break the law. How many times have stereotypes and racism come up when a black guy robs a joint?

I feel like we create so much sexism and racism nowadays.

Teenage girls can be pretty fucking evil. I should know. I was one. One day, school is this fun place where everyone is nice and gets along, and then one day suddenly vicious wolves.

Seriously, teenage girls get away with way too much bullying in society because we have a view that "oh, they're just girls, they can't hurt you" or "sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never hurt you" or "well, if they're treating you like this, you must be weird and you must have done something to deserve it."

Yeah, but it this way, I'm glad my high school years are well and truly behind me.

What the hell, what was going through those girls mind when they did this?!

What possible human depravity has this world sunk into?

Even if he had fought back the girls would have twisted it against him. Probably would have gone crying home with crocodile tears in their eyes blaming the kid and lying. The video would mysteriously never have appeared and the kid probably would get in more trouble than these girls are now.
Video games would then get blamed.
Girls like that sicken me and they should get punished, they need to know what they did was wrong and know never to do it again. There should be no differences between their punishments (or at least the severity of it) and what a boy or group of boys would receive for the same actions.

OK so guys can't hit girls, but parents are allowed to hit their child (provided it doesn't leave a mark iirc) so I sure as hell hope the parents of those girls gave them a damn good slap.
I'd be absolutely disgusted with my children if they behaved like this, male or female.

I can't believe they actually showed the footage (albeit it censored) on the news. Would they do they same if it was three boys doing it to a girl?

The whole thing is disgusting and I hope they get suitably punished for it, but alas it's probably not going to be the case.

You people do realize...if the boy had hit back, the article would be reported VERY differently, and many of you would likely be blaming him. It's a sad world of double standards.

Unfortunately, I can see the reasoning behind not pressing charges; getting legal involvement may make the issue more traumatic for some people (just like many women choose not to press charges about a rape; they just want to be able to walk away, move on with their lives, and never see the offender again). I just hope the parents of those girls are able to give very REAL punishments. I wouldn't even mind going to unusual extremes; take them to the crowded waiting room of a police station in a bad city, and tell them you'll be back in two hours.

Forcing people like that is bad. It would've been hell and headlines if it was boys, huh.

So they upload a video of a underage boy naked on the internet and don't get charged? If this was boys doing it to a girl there would be a massive uproar about how "evil" they are.

All I can say is that I'm so angry about this that I actually have a knot in my stomach and can feel my blood pressure has gone up.

What in the name of fuck are the police doing in not charging these girls with assault, sexual assualt of a minor and creating and distributing child pornography? You can be as sure as shit is brown that if the situation were reversed, three boys of that age would be nailed to the fucking wall for it.

World....seriously, what the fuck has gone wrong with you??

Mental. I got expelled for writing a list of names that people thought might be a "hit list". The stupidity of some people is absurd

I'd say this does reek of double-standards. If the kids had been in a gender-flipped version of the situation, the "pranksters" would be in far more trouble.

Honestly? I think she should've pressed charges against those girls; what they did is really messed up. What in the world got them to think that would be funny?

EDIT: I should probably add that the parents of those kids better come up with a strong punishment for this, especially since nothing is going to happen in any courts.
