This thread is very sexist, why are we asking different questions of the guys than the girls? How come girls get "looked at" here and guys don't?
if it helps im a girl. So i want to know what fellow girls think about the way they dress, and guys' impressions about what we wear. Just see if they match or not. Im not looking for tips... Im just curious, about what fellow girls think about what they wear and what impression they think their giving, see if others think the same thing. Also feel free, girls and guys, to switch the questions.
Speaking as to what I see other girls wear? I've never, quote NEV-ER, understood the strange habit of going out at any hour of the day or nite in sweat pants and flip-flops. I see other girls out in this and I just wonder if it's laundry day today or something. Nothing else clean maybe? But then, and this also leads into the other thing I've never understood, they've got all these expensive name-brand sweats they wear, generally Aeropostale, Abercrombie or some Victoria's Secret wear with that gorfy PINK across the duff. I just don't get it. Sure, they're comfy and all but... *shrugs* Meh.
Me, I usually have a kinda gothy style. Not too over the top, just mostly black and all pretty tight. I like Tripps, sleevies, a few UK companies I order from online for gear.
As to guys, seems to me most guys don't seem to care too much about what they wear past if they like it, if it's comfy and if it's passably clean. Passably. I've seen my roommate do the "sniff-test" before heading to work. Ugh. Not to say all guys are like this. Some fellas trim up pretty nicely. One feller I was kind of seeing from the UK almost always had this kind of steampunk thing going on. It really worked for him, with his medium tall lanky build. He definitely stood out in a crowd and it could be pretty damn sexy at times... *purrs*
