i think thats interesting. Clothes phases are fun to watch with people. I go through a clothes phase like everyday...i just really wonder if people are aware of the incidental things their clothes say about them. I mean a person of any value doesnt judge only on appearances, but on a certain level we cant help it. And im not talking about attractive/unattractive either, but maybe clothes that look more agressive than you thought, or make you seem unkempt and you werent meaning to, things like that.

In my dictatorship (coming soon, kids) all girls will wear glasses by law at all times, even if there's no lenses in them.
No, don't do that last part! Use your powers for good, not to legalise all the dumb stuff hipsters do.
I'm not even sure what a hipster is but rest assured that I've never met anybody, ever, who wears glasses when they don't have to. Unfortunately.

I'll tell you what I hate: hipsters. I hate those idiot glasses, I hate skinny jeans, and I hate those stupid haircuts.

Eh, not picky. Different things suit different people.

Although... I do have a thing for women in long skirts. No idea why.

lol hipsters.

Hmmmm I don't really think about it that much, I just wear whatever clothes are in my wardrobe. :/

In terms of what looks good on guys... suits. I don't know a girl who doesn't go crazy for a good suit.

I'm the type of a guy who generally doesn't look at girls clothes or makeup that much. If you are cute and intelligent, I'm definetily interested. However. Clothes that say "graceful" really catch my eye. I'm talking about loosely cut dresses, light pastel colours and pretty much anything that tastefully shows skin.

Gotta be jeans.

Fuck dresses. Jeans are much better for showing off my favourite parts of a girl.
Of course, they have to be geeky anyway.

As for guys... dresses. Nah, I'm kidding. Not that I'd mind seeing some red lacy underwear...

clothes don't really impress me and i dont see how they can impress anyone, full stop.

I don't have any particular preference for what i like to see girls wear, however i do prefer to see girls wearing jeans rather than dresses in a casual setting. I'm fine with cocktail dresses and formal dresses and whatnot when the situation calls for it, because its classy and i like class.

This thread is very sexist, why are we asking different questions of the guys than the girls? How come girls get "looked at" here and guys don't?
if it helps im a girl. So i want to know what fellow girls think about the way they dress, and guys' impressions about what we wear. Just see if they match or not. Im not looking for tips... Im just curious, about what fellow girls think about what they wear and what impression they think their giving, see if others think the same thing. Also feel free, girls and guys, to switch the questions.
Speaking as to what I see other girls wear? I've never, quote NEV-ER, understood the strange habit of going out at any hour of the day or nite in sweat pants and flip-flops. I see other girls out in this and I just wonder if it's laundry day today or something. Nothing else clean maybe? But then, and this also leads into the other thing I've never understood, they've got all these expensive name-brand sweats they wear, generally Aeropostale, Abercrombie or some Victoria's Secret wear with that gorfy PINK across the duff. I just don't get it. Sure, they're comfy and all but... *shrugs* Meh.

Me, I usually have a kinda gothy style. Not too over the top, just mostly black and all pretty tight. I like Tripps, sleevies, a few UK companies I order from online for gear.

As to guys, seems to me most guys don't seem to care too much about what they wear past if they like it, if it's comfy and if it's passably clean. Passably. I've seen my roommate do the "sniff-test" before heading to work. Ugh. Not to say all guys are like this. Some fellas trim up pretty nicely. One feller I was kind of seeing from the UK almost always had this kind of steampunk thing going on. It really worked for him, with his medium tall lanky build. He definitely stood out in a crowd and it could be pretty damn sexy at times... *purrs*

I like ribbons in the hair and sundresses. And glasses. But no high heels, I'm short enough as it is and I don't need a girl to tower over me.
